  1. The amount of time and money that have been wasted into all that useless legacy stuff instead of improving the gameplay is just sad..
  2. And most people against it (dps classes) believe people would only use it to play two different roles (healer and dps or tank and dps). And for some reason they have a problem with it, since they are stuck with one role. But what is needed is, as you said, a quick and cheap way to change between a PvP and a PvE spec. As it stands, you will have to play either HM Ops or Ranked warzones.
  3. And when both group finder and ranked warzones are in, it will not even be about flexibility anymore. It will be about being able to play both. As it stands you will simply have to pick either PvE or PvP and stick with it. No one can expect to be a COMPETITIVE player in both PvE (HM ops) and PvP (Ranked Warzones) with the same spec. And the money it would take to respec twice each day is absurd.
  4. The thing is...It's not hard at all... I'm suspecting that a designer who only played dps classes decided not to add them anymore. And instead of telling us they just thought "meh, they will soon forget we ever said anything..".
  5. I had a similar problem in WoW before they added dual specs. Before: Small guild of friends. Everyone is speced PvE so we can have a smoothier progression. Other than at the raid hours very few players would actually log on, because the next fun thing to do would be PvP. But no one could afford respecing 2 times a day. So they would just not play outisde of ride times. After: The guild became around 300% more active. Players would log in, switch to PvP spec and do arenas/bgs until raid times. The playing experience improved vastly for everyone.
  6. The problem is that it is not a feature they told us about yesterday. It's been months since they told us that dual specs would be implemented...
  7. So you are not allowed to be a healer in warzones because you chose to be a healer in flashpoints? By your 'opinion' it seems you have not played the game past lvl 40 (to which point any spec can do anything). 1- Get a tank or a healer to lvl 50. 2- Play a warzone in a healer/tank spec. 3- Play through a HM dungeon with the same healer/tank spec. 4- Now you are entitled to have an opinion about the subject.
  8. A dungeon finder without dual specs is ridiculous. You are encouraging people to do PvE and yet those who also want to PvP are going to be penalyzed? It is easy to know through the official notes that one of your main goals is diversity. But forcing someone to spend thousands of credits every day/week ONLY to be able to play two different styles is not how you do it. For the trolls (will save you the time of posting): "herp derp ima dps and i do all with one spec cuz there are no dmg meters in flashpoints. so i dont want dual specs!!11!!"
  9. Eh I never liked that different species could breed, genetically speaking not even some races within the same species are able to produce fertile off springs. Although in Mass Effect the Asari have a rather well thought excuse for it. But in Star Wars it just feels kinda lame...
  10. I've played up to level 25 with my inquisitor and it will contain some spoilers up to that point. Here is my problem: I thought an alien race would fit rather well with the inquisitor story due to him being a slave by the beggining and all. But later in the game you find out that your family was actually very respected and powerful whitin the empire as Sith. But the Empire has just begun accepting aliens for Sith training and there is still a lot of prejudice towards them. So how come an alien family was able to be powerful and respected even BEFORE that time? By that logic choosing a human seems to be the only logical choice in order to fit 100% with the story.
  11. You're basically saying that Einstein is wrong. His formulas and equations prove that wormholes can exist. I'm not getting into specifics here and trying to understand how communications or colonizations would work. I'm saying that getting from point A to point B before light is not impossible.
  12. FTL travel per say is impossible. But getting from point A to point B before a beam of light does is actually quite possible through wormholes.
  13. So you think that the flawed logic of lightsabers is the color? Instead of how the **** someone is able to make a beam of light travel 1 meter and then simply stop in the air? Light does not work like that. Therefore the only reasonable answer is: Plasmasabers, but the name lightsaber is already iconic.
  14. 1- Yes 2- Only one color The lower level crystals are usually pretty cheap, but there are fewer colors to chose from.
  15. But wouldn't 2 points in 'Shadow's Respite' be better suited for pvp than the 2 in 'Pyschokinesis'? And also is a shield generator or focus used with that build? Thanks a lot for the answer
