No idea where the OP derived these figures from though, or their validity.

On the rear of my pre-order card with the code for early access in the fine print at the rear-bottom it says the following regarding early access: On the date of my pre-order, not on the date I enter my early access code. Interesting ;] As I said I'm purely playing devil's advocate, I'm perfectly happy with this staggered release system and applaud it. They really could of done a better job of wording some areas though.

Because other companies have handled their launch differently makes this fail? They're opening up their gates EARLIER than others by comparison. That's something to be applauded, not whined over. There is no elitism here, get a grip. I haven't gotten in, I pre-paid in full for the CE pretty only a few days after the announcement. Am I disappointed, hell yes, but I can't condemn a company because they let some people in before me and made it clear that this scenario was likely to happen. When it comes down to it this is why people are sour and whining. Not because they feel that they're not getting in early enough, but because they don't like the idea of a bunch of people getting in before them. It's immature self-entitlement plain and simple. The only thing I think is disappointing from BioWare is the fact that only another wave is going to be sent out, when it seems like after 3 waves the server pops could handle more than 1 more wave. But at the end of the day what do I know? I'm not getting actual metrics, they are, and as fanboyish as it sounds, they are the ones that best know how many people they can let in. It's rediculous to think that there's a problem here at all. I just don't get some people's logic.

They've done nothing wrong. They stated UP TO 5 days early, and for the love of all things Yoda we're not even at the 5 day mark yet. Good lord, the entitlement from some people is staggering.

Option 2, and I'm not in yet. I'll take a couple days of waiting with uncertainty (as much as I hate it) over being in now, with 4000ms ping, server crashes, login server crashes, massive competition in starting areas for quest mobs/items, the list goes on... Nothing is worse that overwhelmed servers imho.

Yeah exactly, I'm a fair few days off the 27th for entering my code thanks to Gamestop in Canada sucking hard. I don't really want to camp out my e-mail & client if I don't need to for a couple days
