  1. And it'll probably be another hour. http://www.swtor.com/community/devtracker.php
  2. Sucks it'll be another hour at least but no roll back so that's good.
  3. More like. BWA employee #1: We need some new servers but they say we can't spend money on anything other than cartel. BWA employee #2: No problem, I got a friend who has servers in his garage but they aren't exactly reliable. BWA employee #3: As long as they kind of work, who cares? maybe we can get overtime from all the maintenance we'll be doing.
  4. It sucks, not trying to defend them but they did a few updates but no eta. http://www.swtor.com/community/devtracker.php
  5. 2 hours and counting. Suck. Hurry up and fix it so I still have time to do new stuff after I do what I already did again.
  6. Took me about 14-16 hours with the Jedi Knight Story, just that story no Makeb. May have messed around a bit so maybe closer to 12-14. That is with listening to every conversation and not skipping any. I bought gear around 20, 30, 40 and 45 or so. Pretty sure I spent more towards 100k. I'm doing bounty hunter now and using the pilot gear with mods after grinding heroics. I'm 37 with that one buying mods at 21,31, and plan on 41. I found it pretty tough with the Sentinel once I hit the high 30s/low 40s, maybe more annoying than tough. I was about a level or two behind the class quest but it was being a level behind everything else that was annoying. Always seemed to grab random mobs and do a lot of fighting on the later planets. I died a bunch, almost every gold with an add would kill me. My companions were geared ok, just found it tough. I felt the last mission was about the easiest compared to everything else from 40-47. Finished the main class story at 47. Anxious to see how the rest goes from high 30s on. So far Bounty Hunter has been really easy up to where I am now at 37. Not sure where to get gear besides GTN. Buying gear for my Knight on GTN was pretty easy but finding any gear for my BH DPS has been tough. So I went the commendation way. Which is also kind of annoying. Maybe there is a better way to get gear? I never liked professions so never messed with them. I'm a founder but rarely play and decided to come back just to do the class missions I hadn't done(all but Smuggler) and found I have to grind a little with my high level just to be able to level an alt. Really wish they would have found a way to provide gear through the story so I wouldn't have to do that.
  7. Thanks for the advice. I'll check out the operation guides and will definitely end up doing the solo-able material you guys mention. Once again, thanks for taking the time to reply!
  8. Thanks for the link. That pretty much answers it I guess. One question, do I need to gear up for those Story Mode operations or become familiar with them(i can read about em I guess) before trying to queue up for them as they become available or is it relatively easy where I can just queue and listen to directions as a gunslinger sharpshooter ?
  9. I've had the game since launch but I never really played it much. I took a smuggler to level 50 and than stopped playing. I would sporadically come back and subscribe for a month here or there leveling an alt until I got bored and would quit again. Now that there is 12x exp I have come back and leveled a new character to around 50 and I am now curious about experiencing post class story content for some reason. So my questions are, what are the best planets or stories available after the class story? Looking for mainly solo stuff. Are any really worth exploring or if I am in it for story should I go toward just doing another class I haven't done yet? I was going to go to Makeb but I kind of want to experience original level 50 stuff before moving on to hutt cartel. Should I just go to Ilum and do that, is that pretty much all there is? Or are there other planets or bonus series worth exploring at 50? Also with Operations; are they story driven like the first flashpoint early on? If i'm at 50 should I try to find out how to do it or are the story mode operations easy enough where I can just queue up and join one? Im not looking to go through a gear grind as I've done that on other mmos but I guess I will a little if I have to. I just want to experience some content and curious if the Operations are story driven and if I need to gear grind or read about them to learn the fights before going. I know I'm kind of all over the place with this post, I just want to try to get one thread. As there were some other threads that kind of answered part of it but not part of it. Maybe I'm just bad at looking. Anyway thanks for any and all replies. Very much appreciated.
  10. When I played WOW I use to laugh at that one server that was always down, thinking I am sure glad I'm not on that server, suckers!. Now with SWTOR I'm on that server...suck.
  11. I haven't looked at the holonet much since launch because ive been playing but I have always liked the timeline feature and thought I would see if it was ever finished. Doesn't look like they updated it all that often(seems like its been months) and was wandering if bioware ever said anything about finishing it. Obviously they have more important things to take care of right now but i was just curious so i thought i'd ask if anyone knew.
  12. I'd agree with that. Though I did enjoy the Bounty Hunter Wars Trilogy.
