hoth to me seems the biggest.. mostly because its missions are so far spread out and you need to jump on your speeder for a mile or two to get to the next hub, never got the idea that any planet is too big though

I fixed my FPS and ERROR 9000 at the same time!
nuclear-penguin replied to Tyyrael's topic in General Discussion
you did not fix your fps problem/crash, you got a pc that suited the resource requirement.. misleading title is misleading the 560ti is/was the only decent part you had -
Is Gear Supposed to Look... Like This?
nuclear-penguin replied to Jhanzee's topic in General Discussion
i havent seen any gear as bad as yours.. it looks like only one texture layer is drawn.. and its in low quality at that.. even with my settings all on low bar character level of detail which is high, all my gear still looks decent and full -
You guys might find this funny. I didn't.

you are the second player ive seen to say they use a 5450, it just isnt meant for gaming, its meant for a simple office pc doing rudimentary tasks, which is why its that cheap, and why the card is that small.. you wont get 50-60 smooth, you need a card thats in line with the rest of your system, at minimum a 6770 and unless you do video editing etc, 8gb is the most you will need for a long time.. perhaps if you bought 8 instead of 16, you'd have been able to get the card i said above -
One feature every MMO since WoW's launch has forgot to copy!

immersion is just what tor has.. every planet is the same *in design* inch by inch, they are also quite large.. think of multiple wow zones mashed together.. you travel from planet to planet via spaceship, immersion! how else would you want it to be done? there is no other way that wouldnt stray from what is realistic in the star wars universe -
i felt there was enough on each planet so far.. highest char is 36, and on every planet that ive been to so far the questing has been fairly straight forward, everything you get is in close proximity to the hub, when you finish that you might have one quest you do on your way to the next hub, add in the story quests that take place close to all the other quests and i see nothing to complain about and wow is like that because the zones arent separated by space, it takes far longer to travel around in wow than it does in tor thats for sure.. all the quests are grouped together and when you finish them you need to run for 5-10 minutes, changing zones is the same though the impact is lesser because of how fast you get mounts..
