  1. I agree. Was it the SWG community that made the game suck after its two critical updates? Nope. That was on SOE and its developers. Infact, they owned up to it in interviews. They didn't want an innovative and challenging game anymore. They wanted to cater to the WoW masses, and have a generic MMO experience for everyone, without the Communities thoughts and feelings in mind. They messed up ROYALLY. And now that game is all but gone, save for Bloodfin. As for the OP. I did agree with most of what you said, till last night. I played through the last half of Rise of the Hutts, and the prelude for Shadows of Revan. Didn't die once. Didn't even come close in the SOLO FPs. The game is still really easy. So you lose some health from time to time. Be quicker on the buffs and CCs, or merely step out of the AoEs.
  2. I'm really hoping the GE split into multiple factions. I read somewhere, that there was a rumor going around that Benicio Del Toro was going to be a villain in Episode 8. Wouldn't it be awesome to see the sith order restored under him, and going against the new jedi, and the Knights of Ren?
  3. It will, for sure, break weekend records. But to break over all box office records....not so sure. It all depends on how well received the film is. If it lives up to the hype, then oh hell yes it will. But if it falls short, it bomb. And you can thank the reception of the prequels for that.
  4. The thrawn Trilogy and Shadows of the Empire, are really the only books that respect the OT. They very well could have fit in the canon lore. Everything else, was pretty meh. Especially, The Black Fleet Crisis. Thank god George Lucas did the prequels and killed that mess. However, it also killed I, Jedi...which was a good novel as well
  5. Its obvious the game was pushed out to make some cash on the Episode 7 hype. I can't believe a 10 year old game, has more content than the new battlefront....oh wait, its EA/DICE. They made Battlefield Hardline. Another pos
  6. Not every server is as friendly as yours, and not every guild is still around for the folks that are returning.
  7. You do realize there is a ton of ****tard elitists in this community right? If they don't know you, they don't group with you. I loved playing with other people, I loved playing with my guild members that took the time to step down from that princess pedastal most of the members of this community stand on, to help out a brother who doesn't have all of the time in the world to play this game, to do a lower level FP or OP or whatever. However those types do NOT exist. At least, not on the server I was merged into, during my absence from the game. My guild is gone, and now I'm left with a bunch of lame ducks sitting on flleet, talking out of their asses. THIS is why I appreciated OP comps. This is why I enjoyed the game again. Now, its back to the same ********, that turned me, and my guild, off of this game in the first place. I wish they were still around.
  8. most people that came back due to the recent update, left because of the inactivity. It led to hours on end of people trying to find groups for HMs and Flashpoints. As well as Heroics. Then BW/EA decided to make it so people could do quests, Heroics, and Flashpoints, without the hassle of looking for people, when all everyond did was just sit around in game and do nothing. Then they take it away. Did we need god mode? No. Did we need a major nerf to the most recent update. Absolutely not.
  9. When I last played SWTOR, as you can tell how long ago that was from just reading my signature, people were just sitting around on their asses talking **** in the Fleet, rather than grouping and being active. Whats the point of playing an MMO, when NO ONE is being active? Hell, even with the 4.0 update, I STILL had issues getting **** together for an OP. This very issue is why I thought they were making it more like KOTOR story wise or otherwise. Clearly, they intended to make the game easy enough to run all story content on your own, otherwise Comps would of not been OP or as effective without gear.
  10. So does this mean that everyone is going to go to back to fleet, sit on their collective fat asses, and piss and moan and ***** at each other all day, rather than do HM or Operations? Are we going back to the old days of SWTOR?
  11. I'm having even more trouble after disabling bitRaider. Just got a network error.
  12. Except for the fact that 4.0 was supposed to make the game more like KOTOR. If you didn't know, KOTOR...is...SINGLE PLAYER.
  13. Ya, a random and I recently two manned The False Emperor with healing comps, and did it with relative easy, after dying ten times with a full group and no healers.
  14. I agree with you on everything, except dialogue and companions I went through the game as both a Jedi Knight, and a Sith Sorc. Every sith I fought as Jedi, that I didn't kill, was sent to Tython and Redeemed by the council. Not only that, but they showed up all through out Chapter 3: Galactic Annihilation. And as the Sith...well I killed everyone that got in my way so...you won't see them again. So ya, choices do matter. Oh and you can have a love interest in this game as well, and become good friends with other companions too. It actually adds to the depth in the game, where at times you unlock companion quests that turn out to be nice distractions from having to save the galaxy
  15. lol should of checked the forums, before disabling bitraider. Oh well. Bitraider sucks anyways. Now I'm downloading the game again. You guys will be playing before I do
