  1. Uhh...can't say anything regarding the first response in this thread, but Kyarra's response was not an automated message. Now, if you like to play the asumptions game, we can talk about how "social" a guild is that is just starting out and consists of just two people, you and your friend. Compare that to a friendly guild like Dark Jesters that is well established and has been kicking since day 1 on Mindtrick. Don't intend to be mean here, just stickin' up for the lovely Kyarra.
  2. Guildfuggin'huggles to Kyarra and the rest of Dark Jesters JackyD - love PVPing with and against ya goin' back to Mindtrick Sage'Optimus - ditto for the above
  3. I miss pre-1.2 PVP when Huttball was the ONLY same faction PVP zone. It was beautiful on servers where you were heavy on one faction. Now Huttball is a rare occurrence on some days On the 7th day, Lord Giradda said "Let there be Huttball." And there was Huttball, and Lord Giradda saw this was good.....on the other 6 days, Lord Giradda rested.
  4. Early PVP Huttball match spawns, we're startin' with 6, other team has 7. Thats fine, 3 of us have Mumble and are communicating. Match is scoreless for the first 8 minutes, then some BH decides to leave Warzone. Dude requeues and gets placed on the other team, numbers are now 5 against 8. What a load of crap, match quickly goes the other direction and ends 4-0. Deserter debuff please.
  5. NOT implementing Cross Server is a terrible idea. Queue times keep getting longer. I don't give a hoot if I don't know all the players are not, 40+ minute queue times outside of prime time != to PVP.
  6. I lol'd Queue times have gotten progressively worse on my server, and it's considered standard to higher population depending on when you play. Add in the fact you get about one deserter every match or so, sometimes more...yeah, we definitely don't need any punishments for people repeatidly ditching warzones
  7. Arsenal Merc wasn't that good once you got to the 50 bracket anyway. Any decent class will interrupt them all day. I was destroying other Mercs before 1.2 in Pyro spec just by walking in and out of range, dotting them up and throwing Thermals/Rail Shots, and using LOS. Can't cast Tracer on something that isn't targetable. It is slightly annoying that I can't beat a Pyrotech Powertech in DPS considering thats our strongest DPS tree after 1.2. Mercs easily have less survivability than a Powertech anyway, it's a bit of a slap in the face that they're more effective as Pyro.
  8. Don't listen to the OP. I have entered Huttball games down 3-0 with half the game over and come back to win 5-3. You can turn the tide, sometimes a few bads just need to get fed up and leave the game to let better players in. If you find that you're constantly losing matches, look at your strategy and see what you can improve on. Bring a friend or two so you can improve communication. Be a vocal leader on your team. If a player does something that is clearly wrong (especially if they make the same mistake time and time again), try to point it out to make your team better. Yeah, this isn't rocket science, but it works and it leads to better PVP. Believe me, I enjoy a good drubbing of the other team from time to time, but I enjoy a good challenge even more. After the first 3 or 4 games of destroying opposing teams I prefer to go against a well coordinated team so I don't get lazy.
  9. On the 7th day Lord Giradda created Huttball. He rested the previous 6 days
  10. Do not speak ill of the glorious Huttball! Seriously, if you guys would learn to play it you would enjoy it. I hated it at first, but after your first couple hundred matches you find the beauty in it.
  11. Haven't had that issue, but I was in a Civil War match yesterday where I was flash bang stunned and I never recovered...at all. I sat there stunned for over 5 minutes, unable to move, all actions (Including CC breaker) were unavailable. I wasn't lagging, I was able to talk to my team fine and I could see players moving around me. Tried /stuck, no go. Ultimately I was hoping that an enemy player would come along and kill me, hopefully correcting the issue, however no one ended up coming once we cleared that side. Next time I'll certainly leave the match to allow another player in, but...yeah, not a good situation especially when you're the healer.
  12. I agree, I LOVE this thought process by some people. <Switches to MMO A> This game is bad, can't wait till MMO B comes out, it'll be awesome <Switches to MMO B> This game is bad, can't wait till MMO C comes out, it'll be awesome <Switches to MMO C> This game is bad <Switches back to MMO A>
  13. I gotta say no on #1. I don't really have a problem with Force Speed, it's a short duration and theres plenty of knockback, stuns, and roots that slow the ball carrier enough as is, let alone the traps that come into play. On #2, I've got no problem with preventing multiple Extrications/Rescues. One of these should be more than plenty to assist a ball carrier, multiple ones in a row is just crazy. It can be really game breaking for the typical pug team (For the record, I usually run a 2-4 man premade). If you can't score off one pull from a Sorc/Sage, then you didn't deserve tto score. Put a 1 minute debuff on it actually, 30 seconds is almost too short.
