  1. I just read on IGN that if you create a level 60 character you will not be able to take that character back and play the original class story arcs. The game will "assume" that you have already completed that story so there is no need to do it again. So if you start at level 1 on a new character you will be able to play the original class stories, but not from level 60. http://www.ign.com/articles/2015/06/23/e3-2015-11-things-you-need-to-know-about-star-wars-the-old-republics-knights-of-the-fallen-empire-expansion
  2. Good point. Since you have to be a subscriber to play the new content... I didn't pick up on that right away.
  3. Excellent. I wasn't sure since the new story lines will be taking place years in the future from the end of the current story line. Also when they said that we would have all new companions to quest with it got me a little nervous.
  4. This may have already been answered somewhere, but I couldn't find it. So my question is this... Will the original SW:TOR content still be accessible after the launch of Knights of the Fallen Empire, or will it be completely replaced by the new content/story. I know they say that you can either continue your story from 60, create a new level 60 toon, or level from 1-60, but not sure if old content will still exist in game.
  5. I registered my preorder on 11/14 and I am in with the second wave today. Good luck everyone.
  6. Hey guys, It has come to my attention that the OP can't really read because that is not at all what Stephen Reid has said. In fact Reid posted on the forums at the end of the waves for today that tomorrow would possibly see everyone in game that registered by the middle of November. Besides, how is giving you something free slapping you in the face? I bet you would complain that your free lunch was cold and demand a refund!
  7. Considering that she has been a member, and following the game's development, since 2008 I seriously doubt it is trolling. To actually address your question Lorien, report the name if you feel it is inappropriate, as could be the case here. There are rules for naming conventions and this definitely violates those rules.
  8. See toperswtor there is something for everyone on the SWTOR forums
  9. First off, the $5.00 for your preorder comes off the final cost of the order. If you demand that back, you will then pay the full price for the product not the current balance IF they choose to give it to you. Second, they never guaranteed you 7, 6, 5 ,4, 3, 2, or even 1 day of early access. They told you that you might be able to play upto five days early. If they let you in on Dec 19 they have met their requirement - actually, when you get in on the 20th they have still upheld their end of the bargain.
  10. I am ready for launch
  11. To be accurate, presently the Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic are two completely different empires...however in about 3,624 years, under Emperor Palpatine, they will emerge as the same Empire under Sith rule.
  12. The $5.00 you paid to pre-order was the fee to hold your copy of the game (just like if you went into Best Buy or Game Stop to purchase it). The $5.00 actually comes off the total cost so you didn't pay anything for the privilege of early access. They were quite clear on what early access MIGHT be from the beginning. Your choice to not fully read and understand the terms and conditions is not BW/EA's fault. If you intend to play at launch you will get nothing back. If you don't plan to play at launch you will get nothing back...but you won't have to pay the balance either. Good luck in that though. See you in game dude!
  13. You had all the credibility in the world...but then you decided to hit that submit button...
  14. Tell you what...I will log in for you just to keep your account happy until you get home
