I'm linked with Steam and can't figure out how in the world to download/install/access the PTS anywhere. Can someone please direct me to where I need to go to access it? I understand that the patch is on Tues but I want to see it myself before then. **edit** I understand that the PTS is down but I know the way you access it is through the launcher which then installs the PTS onto your PC to access later. The BioWare/EA post explained how to access it is through the launcher and with the settings cogwheel on the lower left side. The Steam launcher has no settings cogwheel. I do have the "regular" game installed on my PC in addition to the Steam client version because I have a second account that's not linked to my Steam that has to access the game through the regular version. I have accidentally tried to log into the "regular" version with my Steam account's info and was so rudely informed I had to access it through the Steam launcher lol.

So if I have smuggler & knight's story completion and transfer something that is NOT one of those it will show up on the destination server that I have completed those stories and the new/destination server will show them as being completed and therefore have the buff & skill (dirty trick for smuggler) unlocked on the new/destination server?

I'm going to be transferring a few characters off of one server and onto another server to play with some people. I understand the basics (nothing in the mail or GTN, can't have transferred in last 72 hours, min lvl 10, not be guild leader, renamed if name already taken, etc etc) and I have read very carefully the section regarding legacies and this is what I'm understand it to be in regards to legacies: - the character/characters transferring INTO the new server will join the already established legacy on that destination server with the destination server's legacy name not the previous/original server's legacy name - the legacy will be whatever the higher of the two are in regards to previous/original server and destination server (meaning if previous/original server had a legacy of 20 and the destination server has a legacy of 10 the legacy level would now be 20 since it is the higher of the two) That's all swell and dandy but there are some specifics I'm not understanding when it comes to this semi-merger of legacies. Here's what I'm needing to know for this whole server transfer & legacy stuff as I will be transferring a few characters from one server to the new one which only has ONE character on it and a low level legacy: - are all things unlocked from the original legacy carried over to the new destination like class story completions, race unlocks, etc etc etc? - if a character has a stronghold from one of the first areas you can get it in, does it transfer with them? - what happens with the stuff in the legacy bank on the previous/original server's legacy? - what happens if the previous/original legacy had purchased 5+ tabs for the shared bank does that unlock also transfer over to the destination server's legacy? - if there is no established legacy on the destination server does that simply copy & paste the legacy from the previous/original server's legacy? The whole reason I'm needing to know all of this information is because I have invested quite a bit of money over the years to purchase various unlocks but they are on ONE server currently. I will be transferring several characters from one to another one and if there is going to be issues with legacy conflicts with the single character on the new server, I'll just delete that one before transferring as long as I'm made aware of the rest of the information I'm needing to know. I would hate to lose so much that I've invested into the game over ignorance or not understanding the risks.

There's a problem with the Bold Hellion's Jacket and the use of any red dye. For some reason when you use any shade of red as the SECONDARY color it turns the bottom buckle on the jacket a fuchsia color. When you use red of any shade as the PRIMARY color it makes the pocket on the top of the right side of your character a fuchsia color. If this was your first time on that account purchasing coin it can take up to 48 hours to hit the account. This is true with many other MMOs too not just SWTOR. They have to verify that the purchase went through and that it was a legit purchase you are authorized to make with the card you used. Depending on if you enabled card transactions for in-game purchases of Cartel Coin or if you did it through the website could also have an affect on when the coins are delivered.

Is it still possible to add a code for the Collector's Edition if we were able to get our hands on a copy of it? Also what in-game perks do you get from the CE besides the CE vendor?

Not sure if you're playing the game still but I thought I'd answer this question anyway. I haven't got my inquisitor that far yet but from the sounds of him from people in this thread I would in a heartbeat romance him. I'm very sad my male gunslinger can't romance Corso. My GS and him would make a perfect couple. Instead I'm having to romance Risha. Now my Jugg is romancing Theron :t_angel: :t_angel:

OK I have a major problem. I added an augment slot to my Eternal Commander MK-3 War Leader's Armguards (tier 1 set) and when I did it said that I would lose my tier set bonuses if I added it. I added it thinking that it was just a glitch saying that since I see people posting which augments to add to gear for the "best gearing" threads. After I added the augment slot sure enough the Eternal Commander MK-3 War Leader's Armguards was no longer showing that it had any tier set bonus you could obtain for it. Is this a problem with my character and it bugged out on me or is this what happens with ALL the tier set pieces? If this is what happens with all tier set pieces what is the point of getting tier sets if you lose the bonuses if you augment them?

What about Shae Vizla? Is she player sexual or hetero only?

So I know that with SWTOR you have been able to romance opposite-gender companions since the beginning on certain companions. I know that starting with ROTHC you could romance romance Lemda as either gender & romance Cytharat as a male if you go light & its more innuendo/flirting than "romancing". I know that starting in Forged Alliances & Shadow of Revan you could romance both Lana & Theron as either gender then in KOTFE you could romance Lana, Theron, and Koth as either gender. With Aric, Kaliyo, Vette, and Torian being added back in as companions and they were previously & now romancable, are they locked behind opposite-gender romancing or can either gender romance Aric, Kailyo, Vette, and Torian? What about Shae Vizla being able to be romanced by female characters because I know she's listed as being romancable but it doesn't say if both genders can or if it is only males that can. Yes I am aware I will probably get flamed for wanting to have a same-sex romance in-game but I'm asking because that really got me to thinking about the old companions that could be romancable.

My lvl 70 can not pick up the heroic weekly quests on Korriban or Hutta. I've tried getting them from Fleet, Korriban, Hutta, and Odessen. The quests simply are not there to pick up. Prior to 70 I could pick them up. This week I can not though. I know I haven't done them yet on the character in question either because weeklys just reset.

Can we get this page un-stickied? The website listed in the first post is dead. It sends you to spam sites now.

So I have been playing regularly since the 5.10.1a patch including earlier today. I just went to log in and got an error after entering my log-in info in saying "This application has encountered an unspecified error. Pelase try this patch again". I have loaded the game several times and each time it says this. The first time it actually let me get to the character select screen but said something about needing to download the worlds & that I could play any of the 7 starter classes until then (aka make a new character and wait until it finished downloading in the background). Is something going on?
