  1. After my long absence of 2+ years from the game, I finally got a new computer that I can hook up to my gigantic TV and play TOR in 4k from an eye ruining distance. Except, of course, all the standards have changed in those two years and I missed two expansions' worth of balancing and content, and now almost none of my previous characters feel familiar. Even my trusty Vengeance Juggernaut has a very strange rotation that keeps running out of stacked bleeds, which just didn't happen back when I was still playing. Not to mention a whole slew of crafting changes, and economy changes (RIP Planetary Commendations), and basically I might as well start anew (with the benefits of my legacy unlocks, but other than that). So, in order for me to quickly start experiencing post-Shadow of Revan content without fumbling around with my current level 60 characters whose rotations I have already forgotten and whose items might as well be garbage now, which spec for each class / role will let me level up with the least learning process for specific rotations, just to get back in the right feel for the game? Preferably at least one tank and one healer, but I am flexible for the rest. ((This is currently strictly PvE, because last I checked PvP progression and specs were quite different from PvE, and I at least want to see the class and expansion stories again before getting back into the PvP grind.))
  2. And get even more people to Need "for their alts"? No thanks.
  3. Problems are the 30 meter range, the extended area and the repeated ticks not fitting in with a class that is supposed to deal damage at a range of 4 to 10 meters. As someone whose favorite characters are Operative healer and Scoundrel scrapper, good riddance and may we get something worthwhile for our role that wont take too much effort for too little return to balance instead.
  4. Of all the classes I've played (which is basically all of them except Sentinel/Marauder), the two classes the felt most versatile in solo PvE are Shadow/Assassin and Powertech/Vanguard, whether as a tank or a damage dealer, so I fully endorse the Powertech. My favorite characters to play are my Scoundrel and my Operative, but despite all the tools they have, they feel like one trick ponies while leveling.
  5. This is the wrong forum for this, considering the Sgae/Sorcerer advanced class can't use electrostaves, but for the record, except for Vector, who can equip electrostaves but not lightsabers, electrostaves function almost exactly the same as double bladed lightsabers, with the only real difference being a higher minimum and lower maximum damage.
  6. Personally, I hold Doc among my three top ranked male squeezes, right after Vector and Andronikos, and can't really stand Kira after Act 1 is over. T7 is great, too, it's just that he is a droid tank, so I have little reason to carry him anywhere. As for Fideltin and Scourge, I can take them or leave them.
  7. Devaronian females don't look anything like the male Devaronians, which might be why. I don't think they are in the game, but they don't have horns, instead boasting a head with hair.
  8. It doesn't do as much damage because nothing does as much damage because damage and health numbers are being altered all across the board. The real "nerf" would be that you can no longer Shoot First at one enemy and immediately Back Blast another, but openings and rotations change. That's just a fact of MMOS lifespans.
  9. If you mean the rakghoul plague, the event lasted one week and now it's over. You can safely abandon the mission you have because the next time it will probably show up on a different planet.
  10. Because some masks do that, while others don't.
  11. That's a singularity/shcokwave change, not a force sweep/smash nerf. Please note that all the damage and heal and NPC numbers are being changed and taking such changes in a vacuum like you do is not going to be helpful. If you aren't in the PTS, wait for live release, play your character and then reach a conclusion on how the numbers work.
  12. Legacy Lightning Storm, which is a legacy version of a skill only acquired by Sorcerers, says hi.
  13. No. An area attack that hits at 30 meters repeatedly should not be given to a class that fights at an optimal range of 4 to 10 meters, and given that its not even iconic of the class, there is no reason it should be allowed to keep it, "coolness" be damned.
  14. Those look less like green and more like mint green. Try the Mint Green crystals we already have, if you can afford them on the GTN.
