I analyzed your 250 second parse against mine (thanks BTW). What I found interesting is that you REALLY hit that RS every 6 seconds. Almost to the T! While I am all over the place (even going 10-12 seconds sometimes). Regarding this I am wondering if you do anything special to be grabbing RS right off proc or is it just you prioritize RS and keep that as your main priority to fire it off ASAP. Definitely I am not doing a good job of that so I will pay better attention to firing RS as close to every 6 sec as possible. THANKS AGAIN! -

thanks for taking the time to offer some analysis. If I follow your logic I should have a railshot firing every 6-7 seconds correct? so 250 / 7 = ~35 rail shots ? another question: If Unload procs railshot should I immediately interrupt the Unload cast and fire the rail-shot or wait until Unload finishes? I definitely am refreshing IM before it finishes (by a sec or 2). I need to work on my timing for that. I guess I am losing out on firing a Powershot by doing that correct? -

This is great. Thank you. I just switched to Pyro and like it. However, I basically have the same gear as you currently and my numbers are drastically lower than yours (by about 600 dps ) I have a bit more crit currently but I can't imagine that would account for 600 dps. So, where am I going wrong if I am leveling out at 2500-2600 dps? My APM is about 8 less than your parse but not sure where the additionals could come from. Played Arsenal for 2 years and finally switched to Pyro last week. I like the rotation a lot more from a consistency and heat standpoint. Definitely more mobile as well. As Arsenal if my Unload got interrupted I would be pissed, but as Pryo the Unload still pops railshot off cooldown so I don't mind at all.

* Please adjust the cost of Fusion Missile. In it's current form it is not worth using in the rotation unless making it free (basically used once or maybe twice in a fight is not really part of the rotation). I would love to use it as a dot in a normal rotation. * for us arsenal casters, pushback can be a pain. In PvE most encounters produce some sort of DoT or AOE attacks. Some can be cleansed/avoided but since we are a casting class it seems this affects our DPS more than others that do not have such lengthy casts * would love some kind ability or proc that gives us the next ability clicked as an auto-crit * reduce cooldown on thermal sensor override and power surge Some Pet Peeves: * It bothers me that Death from Above is cancelled by a POUNCE/SMASH/PIPE-SMASH from a boss. what? we are in the AIR, why do we care that there is an earthquake on the ground? other forms of interrupt? sure. * I've seen plenty of completed casts that end up hitting a dead target and doing zero damage. improve our cast-times vs. actual HIT TIMES. some abilities are a 1.5 sec cast but also travel through the air. so, they really don't hit the target until 2 seconds (or more sometimes it seems). It's gotten to a point that if an add is at 5% I just stop casting and attack the boss instead or move to a different mob in order to not waste my heat/time. can this be fixed somehow? the attack should actually do DAMAGE by the end of the cast but currently the damage is being done 1.6-2 seconds due to travel-time.

This is just terrible. The Marauder buffs are pretty crazy. You just made it EASIER for Marauders yet you state in other posts how they are over-tuned. In your answers post you mention that we are going to get the first round of changes and we just got nothing. I'm so depressed.

Thanks for the advice from both of you. I'll work on my rotation a bit to manage heat better/more-efficiently Couple questions on this fight in particular: 1. do you solely use DFA just on the adds/red-circle phases? 2. is Fusion Missile worthwhile on the add phase such as the 2nd and 3rd add phase where there are more to burn? Usually I plop an Explosive Dart on them as they are running and then Flame Thrower them if DFA is on cooldown. 3. when you HAVE to move are you usually using rapid shots? usually if i have to move then i just click my rapid shots as a default. -

Slowly getting up there. Nightmare Writhing Horror I am up to 2500-2600 dps. Was wondering where I can squeak out a few hundred more if you don't mind analyzing. Usually I take the 4th red circle when all hell breaks loose in the last 60 seconds or so. Thank you for taking the time to respond. We tried Nightmare Writhing Horror last night and got him down to 12k hp left (ugh!). A fun fight definitely. I tried to focus on upping my APM and planning on my movement or positioning better. This seemed to work pretty well. I was averaging about 2200-2400 dps on the 5-minute fights that we had. Few times 2400+ NM Writhing Horror Will work more on my timings and your other recommendations. THanks!
