  1. a point no one has mentioned yet.... the pvp rancor can never be gotten again... the wings unless the dev's go back and take it out.. will always be available as a drop on said boss. So once said pvp person has out leveled and out geared that boss.. they could go back and farm said boss til they had their very own wings mount. quit whining..and suck it up buttercup. it's not fair that the easiest relics to get after hitting 55 are infact the pvp ones forcing those of us that don't want too, to pvp. Sure i could pay 3 to 6 million on the gtn.... but that more of a time sink than just running a few warzones.
  2. So since the two best starting dps relics are not able to be gotten via pve, you either have to pvp to get them or buy off the gtn? Seems funny to make your players partake in a system they don't like. for those who claim you can get them... the only way for a new level 55 toon to get the assualt or retribution version are pvp or paying stupidly overpriced prices on the gtn.
  3. People who think they need to waste three other peoples time by going out of their way to kill every little thing. That think their time is more important than any other person who plays the game. I can see if you are going for a bonus. But after the bonus there is absolutely no reason to clear a instance. People who think they need to stand around for 5 minutes between pulls. I play all three roles... as tank if a dps or healer pulls... I let them tank what they pull. As a healer if you pull and are not a tank.. you don't get healed. As a dps.. if you are tank and can't hold agro I will switch to it and kill it cause i'm quite capable of killing most elites two or three levels above my level. I will save the healer if the are not the one to pull the pack.. if the heals pulls the pack i let the healer die and then kill what I can. Plain and simple if you choose a role and don't know it... I will help you out with advice... But if you show you know what you are doing then you can count on me doing my job and making sure stuff dies quickly. as to the OP... quit wasting others times just because you want to be a special snowflake...
  4. agreed.... all players know that tank queing is faster.. so the person saying they are helping the que by clicking as dps too is dumb. which brings me to another point... I have healers, tanks and dps.. at no time in the heroic modes does my dps get instant ques... my healers will take about 3 minutes to pop. My tanks are instant ques. Dps can wait to upwards of a hour to get a que.. meaning the OP is mostly likely a dps toon that is infact using the tank que to jump que. So I call BS on the OP.
  5. pvper's need to quit whining about vanity items.... The end all be all of why pvper's need to shut up. You can drag a pvp decked toon thru the last Op to get the vanity item in question they want with no actual skill required of the pvper.... you can not drag a pve'er thru ranked warzones as easy. As a hardcore player who somewhat retired.... vanity items never caught my eye so much to say i needed it and would spends days to get it or even weeks. But I Used to pvp hardcore in that game we shall not mention. From that point of view I would rather the development time it takes to make that rancor mount be used on making new pvp game modes then a stupid vanity mount. hence why swtor pvpers will always in my eyes be that game we shall not name's carebear babies. pvper's need to get over themselves with this notion that they deserve something more than anyone else in game.
  6. One could argue that being the best of a small group is alot easier than being the best of a large group. But the main point is pvp is easy if you dun dun dun devote time to learn it just like pve. therefore the same could be said for pvp just taking time to achieve. Just because you find something really hard to do does not mean everyone does.
  7. Sorry i have to agree with the OP.... One hit kills do not belong in pvp... GSF is pvp...
  8. like you are being so respectful towards the pve player base right? And news flash clueless joe.... on one of the updates during the GSF ramp up it was stated that GSF was pvp only to start... that pve was not out of the question but would take more time to do since pvp was easier to code. So you are infact just saying what you think will cause a arguement on the forums to derail a thread. To get the thread back on track... I would think they'd have to do something like one instance every 3 months or so or every other major release because of the time it would take to code something so big. So if they do follow thru and make a pve GSF I wouldn't expect much to begin with.
  9. i leveled as heals, used Xalek all the way from 50 to 55... never had a problem with him dying or anything. perhaps you should of spent a bit of time gearing him. I would take whole packs of elites... Barrier him and me.. Hot him and send him in then aoe the pack to kill the non elite ones in 10 secs. after that ii was cake to kill the elites. down time was not that bad due to self healing.
  10. since the pieces have no set bonuses.. you could mix and match the seeker and battlemind pieces... tis what i did.
  11. I fail to see the problem here.... You had the chance to preorder the exp for way over a month... even as a pts you could of preordered. Yet you are crying because you didn't preorder? everyone was given the chance to preorder... not EA's fault you did not do it.
  12. Yes I craft.... No I don't do it for profit... to do so would mean I was working a third job. Those of you that do craft for profit tho have gotten a little greedy. Meaning... I have been in a couple guilds where members have explained to me that they rarely run anything because they only have time to craft on thier many alts. On top of that... most crafters are looking for that one big sell.. instead of that slow and steady income. meaning that are always posting thier wares at outlandish prices... just in hopes of making a big pay off. case in point... level 1 to 5 mats are not hard to get... infact if you spend the time and send you companions out then go and collect more while they are on mission... you can in a hour get enough mats to make about 20 of what you want. yet people want to act like thier time is worth gold in real life. seriously we all know doctors are way over paid in real life but why should a crafter be even more over paid than a doctor in a game? So crafters can whine all they want.. but supply and demand is not there atm... and hopefully EA learns to govern that supply and demand somewhat to keep players from monpolizing the game.
  13. My take on the planet.. it's spot on.... your complaint about a gold or silver in every pull... what do you want? the weak mobs and nothing else? I can take on two or three golds at a time and i don't run operations and am not in campaign gear... play smart and not just bash your head into a wall and you can do any of the quests in there.
  14. You are paying for access to the servers at level 1-50.... they asked if you liked to have 51-55 for a one time fee of 10 dollars.... hence therefore you are not being denied anything. example... you order some chicken tenders...and you notice that 5 mins later a person puts up a sign that says you now get 4 tenders instead of 3 with your meal. You are the one that is thinking that you should get that extra tender because you feel entitled to it.. even tho the sale was not going on when you placed your order.... Long story short.. most companies would be ok with giving you the deal but in no way are they required too. Yet you are using threats to try and make them give you a deal they never even mentioned. aka subscribers get 51-55 free. I paid the 10 dollars on day 1... why cause i was already paying 15 a month and seen that it was a great deal. crying over what you could of done is not going to get it for you for free sorry.
  15. About point C..... gear check really? You do know that the players are the one that are setting insane requirements for gear right? Example... I started playing SWTOR at launch... my first toon was a sith tankasin. I leveled him joined a guild.. geared him thru HM's.... meaning he has columi mostly. no pvp gear. I took a break... back with f2play.. re subbed even. Que up for a T1 Hm.. you know the ones that I really didn't need gear from.... and was promptly kicked before first pull because my 22k health as tank wasn't enough. never mind I had before i quit, ran HM's with No healer and finshed them... me tanking and 3 dps. Just because some players need to use higher level gear to make up for thier short comings in player skill doesn't mean all of us do. The problem is not Bioware's to solve.. it's the community...and thier high expectations.. lower them.
