  1. Hey, I'm a returning player looking for an active guild to run warzones with as well as play other game content with. My main is a lvl 50 Sniper.
  2. Decided to start off with a provocative title to the thread. Warzones were fun when there weren't many or any level 50s. I'm not 50 yet. I'm 39 right now. I couldn't imagine trying WZs now as a lowbie. Stats don't translate well at all for buffed lowbies entering. At the very least level 50s need to be queued for separate WZ instances. It has become so imbalanced that I don't even enjoy playing WZs as much because 50s are too hard to kill and too powerful. Until this issue has been resolved, it really feels like WZs are unplayable for lower levels which cuts out PVP and makes it broken, imo.
  3. Totally agree with the above statement and echo it. Of course, to be fair, the game is still in its infancy and a lot needs to be adjusted. I play on a PVP server as well, and plenty of players avoid PVP. Sith ignoring Jedi in the same dungeon because they want to level. Huh??? That was unheard of if not impossible to do in SWG. Bottom line, there is no reason to PVP except for if you are a true PVPer, yet no reward in open world--at the very least--make dungeons or shared Heroic areas with good rewards where republic and empire vie for the spot. World PVP is basically pointless except to maybe grief and thats even hard with the minority of republic on my server. I just find it so funny that someone in General says: "Jedis spotted at...!" and no one really gives a crap. Maybe an RP server fares better at this than mine. But yeah...at the very least give some valor XP and some coin so we have a mechanic in place to PVP and motivate others to help each other in their faction more. I will skip over warzone/huttball comments for a different thread...
  4. I totally agree. Not because of any role-play/PVE aspect, but more about the PVP aspect. In factioned PVP, it becomes stale with only 2 factions. It's much more exciting with 3 factions and allows for more dynamics. Not too mention there is less chance of one faction outnumbering the other. Yeah, my guildies were just talking about this. DaoC, Vanguard, had 3 factions and worked much better for factioned pvp. Who knows what Bioware will do later on. But I vote for a Neutral/Merc/Hutt faction with Rodians, Mandalorians etc and just choose which faction you want to be in.
  5. Just wondering if there are any places where regular skirmishes take place. Or, probably more pertinent for me, where Republic players are most frequent in the world, especially on Vulker Highway.
  6. Anyone else seriously suspect players of having hax already? I've been noticing people zipping around, resisting knockbacks, doing crazy things that seem impossible. I'm going to start frapping the matches now and posting to get an opinion (and possibly bans ). Thoughts? I know there are abilities that cause certain features but what i saw in a couple matches is really suspicious.
  7. I'll start: Warzones: Choose warzone map out of list to be queued for. More maps Message which Warzone you are going into beforehand when popup pops up. When timing out, you go back to where you where instead of Imperial Fleet. A little more balance (buffing lower levels stats on offensive, not just hitpoints) Endgame: Guild pvp objectives...like in Warhammer. Ownable cities

is there a way to break free from this? It seems overly powerful that you are basically stunned and being dealt a DOT. are there ways to break out or are you screwed?
