  1. Looks like they put the fix on us!! http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=130804
  2. Yeah it's part of that whole "meta game", for people with mmorpg experience there are certain things we are aware of that gives us "advantages" (oh dear lord, they'll be coming after us now) knowing how systems work. My personal record is level 4 @ 13 minutes and that was stopping to kill a few things on my way to the spaceport, but the xp might have helped. I'll have to run a char straight there and see what that gets me.
  3. Good thought- this past weekend has been double xp in EQ2 also with vitality many people are getting triple xp. Plus not to mention the special "for a limited time" annual holiday content. So while I play EQ2 with my spouse, on my computer I "play" SWTOR also. Why can't I do the above to earn credits for my chars for when I can "truly play"? I burned through 40k credits doing crew missions and training so I should only be able to replace those credits with conventional limited mmo play thinking?
  4. I would guess - since I haven't done it yet is that there is no challenge to sitting in front of a chest and opening it over and over again when it respawns. The challenge would be getting there and the reward is credits, easy credits. Aside from the RMT's is that the real crutch for people, someone is getting "easy" credits?
  5. See I take issue with that. Why do you have an issue if i take my level 10 char anywhere? I know very well that I bought a game product and have just as much right to its content as anyone else. I've been playing MMORPG's for over 15 years and I often find myself doing things just because of the challenge. As a matter of fact I've done just this in EQ2 with my crafter(s) because you know what- screw all of you adventurer elitists that want the game to benefit you. So what I'm not max level if i want to go somewhere to gather resources I will. So what are they jealous that I have skills to get around on a zone/planet that only the "elite" adventurers are supposed to be enjoying or reaping the benefits of? What's next for people like you to report people like me that take their level 1 char to the star fleet because I know very well I have no business being there? or that I'm gathering resources on Taris while over leveled and immune to the critters there? That's the slippery slope....
  6. This exploit would be wasteful for multiboxing. It only takes one character to loot a chest. AND Since /follow is broken I doubt anyone could tell a multiboxer from a single boxer. But then the whole issue is stupid. If people would rather farm for credits than spend 20 hours questing god bless them. Now since BW/EA doesn't allow the RMT's that's a no no. What's next, stopping all the hardcore gamers who reached 50 that farm comms and gear because, OMG SOMEONE IN A GAME IS GETTING SOMETHING I'M NOT BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO DO IT THE WAY THEY ARE!!!? and while we're at it could you stop people from selling stims cheaper than missions cost to get the materials? lol
  7. "Originally Posted by LogicalPremise Let me make sure -- absolutely sure -- I have this straight. Multiboxing exploiters use a wpvp trick to have chests (boxes?) respawn rapidly so they can loot them rapidly, so they can take the credits and sell them. BW catches, warns them. " It was never stated in the OP that the "abuse" was from multiboxers, never! So now I doubt the rest of your eloquent facts..
  8. Looks like the Flirt with Kira "bug" isn't a bug- I guess it's just that point of the game where people filled their quest queue to max. Grabbing unfinished heroics and space and all that. So just delete some quests you don't want and then flith away! the hint is the red text message "you must complete more missions." I got that when trying to pick up a droid mission and thought hrmmmm how can i complete more if I can't get more.... duh me! So GL out there and guess some people owe SWTOR an apology? I wonder how many other "bugs" are operator error? or Did you flirt then go to the starship and get locked message when you tried to talk to her on the starship? You need to go to a cantina first, then flirt @ starship
  9. I read this back when but forgot and the old forums are wiped and there's no search so... How are crew skill mission levels figured? When do they raise? can't find the info in any of the guides here. So mission level 10 - 16 when, how why, does it go to 17-24 and so on? thanks!
  10. been broken during and since beta - about the only thing that really annoys me about this game
