  1. Yes, I launched the Origin game launcher and added SWTOR to the game library. I did not order the game through Origin or have to pay for it again. I did not have to redownload the game either. The original game, with this controversial patch, worked.
  2. Thanks for the advice. I was able to get the game to run through Origin. I cannot play the game directly any more even though I could run the game without Origin yesterday. If I try to run the game by launching the application from the SWTOR folder then it crashes after I click play from the launcher.
  3. I am having the same issue on the guild roster. Now what is weird is that the legacies for my alts show up under a different one than my main and switch when I log in with an alt. I've also noticed that the guild leaders for conquest points do not update or show the current player logged in so I am not sure if the issues are related.
  4. I agree that pazaak (and swoop racing) has been absent from the game for too long.
  5. Are there any plans to allow strongholds to be used by players to create in game missions like the foundries in other MMOs? With long periods between new content in the game it seems like it would be a good idea if players could create their own and the flagships and strongholds seem like the best location to create guild events. Examples could be a boarding event where you defend the ship from invaders or an interactive murder mystery where players could search through the stronghold or ship looking for clues. They could be added to the conquest once a week for folks that are looking for something new besides the regular repeatable missions.
  6. One can only hope they add them back to answer a few questions - hopefully discovering them in similar fashion to the derelict ghost ship from the HK series which would explain their long absence. There were a lot of children of the Emperor so there's a good bet some of them would still be around to cause trouble. I have to admit I was looking forward to seeing Kira interact with Vaylin and Arcann but I guess we'll have to wait and see.
  7. Here is another one for you. Thanks for compiling this list. Guild - The Republic Defenders Faction - Republic region - North America based but have members world wide forum ad - http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=788436 website - http://TheRepublicDefenders.guildlaunch.com We're at about 300 members now and have been around since launch. We have a stronghold, voice chat, flagship, and a great group of people.
  8. If you're the GM you have the option at the same terminals where you buy the personal ones. You have to make sure the guild option is selected.
  9. As I understand it, players are allowed to have 4 active personal strongholds but I only have 3. When I tried to purchase the Yavin 4 stronghold I got a message that I had to deactivate one. I submitted a trouble ticket in game and wondered if anyone else encountered this. Do some strongholds count more than others? Does the guild stronghold count against you if you are a GM?
  10. Are there any plans to change the PvE space system to make it something other than a minigame and tie it in to the rest of the game? At least have the missions count towards conquest. It seems pretty dead and little more than a side distraction.
  11. The Republic Defenders is a family-friendly social guild of approximately 280 members that have many veteran players that can help you get to level 60 with your class quests or end-game content. We also have a mirror imperial-side guild since many members have characters on both sides but like to stick with the same groups since we work well together. We have a voice chat channel, website, fully equipped guild stronghold, and a guild flagship. We also run our own events with prizes and our last Star Wars trivia night had a good turnout. Our website is: http://therepublicdefenders.guildlaunch.com Whisper or mail Kendallyn in game if you are interested in finding out more and joining. I look forward to hearing from you.

  13. I agree that the game should have more social content and these activities would round out the game. The constant killing gets tedious and repetitive after a while. There are slot machines on Nar Shadda and gambling tables all over the place such as this one: http://tor.zam.com/wiki/Sabaac_%28TOR%29 Racing has always been a big part of the SW universe and it would be great to have a racing circuit on various planets. There should be a solo circuit for players to have fun, win credits, and get the hang of it as well as a competitive circuit where players cooperate in teams to get the best time (based on the average of everyone on the team) each day.
  14. I've seen a few but they are the minority. I think the LS options are written better. If DS options encouraged manipulative powermongers over mass murderers you would probably see more DS choices being made on both sides.
  15. I was looking at adding optional content such as new dailies - not changing the current PvE content. You wouldn't HAVE to do one or the other but I guess folks will complain no matter what you do. Right now the story, space, and PvP are three separate games that are not really linked.
