Sorry but I'm going to disagree. While he is very knowledgeable about the game and technical issues, he and I went around a few years ago elsewhere over an issue. I've been told by staff that I'm not allowed to discuss it here so I won't. Just remember that not everyone is an Owen fan.

Unable to retrieve patch data, check network connection

Usually that's a sign that either launcher.exe and/ or swtor.exe can't get past your firewall. Best bet would be to go into your firewall settings and check on both of those programs. -
He does seem to go to a lot of parties..... I've been noticing this more often lately. The weird thing is that previously, a switch between characters would clear them out. Now it just seems to add more. They do seem to disappear after a few minutes. Their Uber must have shown up.

Been an issue for over a year at least: https://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Aswtor.com+naked+guy+in+my+stronghold&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8

Geforce Nvidia Promotion: you're kidding us!
dr_mike replied to Drexler's topic in General Discussion
I know this sounds silly and besides the point but what I learned eons ago was to sit someone's grandmother down and see if they understand it. If they don't.... -
What recourse do I have when CS don’t have a clue?
dr_mike replied to TrixxieTriss's topic in General Discussion
To be honest, don't expect a resolution. I'm actually against submitting another ticket. There's a fair number of threads here stating that if you call out a ticket as being incorrect, they just threaten you with a ban from the support system or the game altogether. Steps I would take: - Go ahead and list the ticket numbers. To be honest, those should have been in the first post. Anyplace you reference a support ticket, it;s always a good idea to give the number not just here at swtor. That way in case a staff member does see this thread, they may go looking for it. - Drop both Eric and Keith a pm pointing them to this thread as well as giving them the ticket numbers. Your mileage may vary on that as to a response. To be honest, if you really want resolution to this issue, you're going to have to take them to arbitration or at least threaten to do so: https://tos.ea.com/legalapp/WEBTERMS/US/en/PC/#section15 Having said all that, I have a feeling that the matter will never be dealt with. Sorry -
Reading that makes me think you're all on the same computer when you did. That's probably not going to work. You may want to skim previous threads on the topic: https://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Aswtor.com+"unexpected+error" Hope this helps

Norton just blocked a web attack from here
dr_mike replied to Screaming_Ziva's topic in General Discussion
We've asked for that previously. No response. At least the login is secure. https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=account.swtor.com And a friendly reminder: meta name="generator" content="vBulletin 3.8.5" edit: Alright I'll go ahead and say it and risk the nastygram in the inbox: Y'all are aware that this wouldn't have been the first time, right? I've seen the hidden links in the footers and the pops unders on occasion here. Others have as well. That was released in March 2010. -
You can fire up services.msc and disable both Windows Modules Installer Worker and Windows Update. That's what I finally did.

Afraid not. Some of us with vision issues have tried to discuss UI matters with staff but there's been no interest with the exception in an email to me about assistance tools would be considered an unfair advantage over normal players. May want to take this up in the game subforum located here: http://www.swtor.com/community/forumdisplay.php?f=255 This subforum is for the discussion of the overall Star Wars story line. You can see that spelled out here in this sticky: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=85 Hope this helps

A quick scan of the comments shows folks who have received the code: http://dulfy.net/2017/12/07/swtor-nvidia-geforce-rule-galaxy-story-pack-giveaway/ Or at least some "players" are reporting that they received the "codes" if you catch my meaning.

Lovely. That's one of the flashpoints I was planning on catching up on.

Did you try the sticky: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=729911 As an aside, it;s always best to note the specific error you receive and not a paraphrase. Ususally a quick google for it will pull up solutions. Hope this helps
