  1. Question about how this will work: If the old Rakata mods/enhancements were preservered from when they were stripped out to do our own itemization, if they were put back in to the appropriate gear, would these be seen as "base" Rakata level or will they be seen as "modified" Rakata and not be affected by the reitemization?
  2. From a bunch of testing with HK in the foundry it seems to not be a timing thing where going too early, etc. The issues I've experienced is when the final panels are hit at the same time. I've started having people go in a circle around the panels in quick succession and have never had an issue with the panels ever since.
  3. They share the full 2 min CD if you use two of the same type (i.e. two crit/surge relics will share a 2 min CD). If you have two different types of relics (i.e. 1x crit/surge, and 1x Power) the first one clicked will activate a 2 min CD and activate a 30 second CD on the one not used yet.
  4. I am actually at the same point as you in the Vette storyline. However, my journey has taken a different path. I had only raised my affection (~1600-2500, well before the Star of Ryloth quest) range with Vette before getting Jaesa, and used Jaesa as my companion aside from the occasional use of Quinn all the way to 50. I got Jaesa to 10k affection and married her, etc, as I figured if I was going to pursue someone it would be my apprentice. I have now been giving lots of gifts to Vette to raise her affection up and I have just gotten the quest to choose between Vette, Jaesa, or both. I have tried all three choices to get the initial reaction and the only way to pursue Vette is to choose her and the next option is the ability to flirt further with her if you do choose that. So the possibility of pursuing Vette looks to still be open in spite of the fact I am already married to Jaesa. My main concern is how the storylines would continue and which would take precedence if more companion storyline growth is added in the future.
  5. Hey folks, I just wanted to get some clarification on if there is a setting I missed somewhere. We ran into a couple issues last night where I received pants from EV which I had also gotten the week before, and another member of the same class received the boots which they already had. So the couple questions I had: 1) Is there a way to disable the loot being automatically assigned to a player within an Operation? Setting it to Master Loot worked for like the schematics, but not the token gear. I haven't tried FFA yet, does it do the same thing? 2) If we were to ticket a swap of items where he opens a ticket to transfer the boots to me and I open a ticket to transfer the pants to him, does this use one of the 3 Item Restorations allowed in a rolling 6 month period? Thanks in advance.
  6. As a Jugg tank I looted a purple relic that has a pretty hefty defense rating clickie effect.. with no endurance. So it's currently sitting in my inventory looking nice and purpley.
  7. Close but not quite. The issue isn't that chest pieces have higher rating, as the rating of an item will stay constant per armor type, but the AC value is increased in certain slots (helmet, chest, legs). So a Rating 126 armoring when applied to Heavy armor would be say 776 in a chest slot, and 560 in a boot slot. The issue is that people would loot the boots with 560 AC 126 rating, yank out the armoring which would be a 126 rating armoring mod, and place it into the chest, legs or helmet and acquire the 776 AC in the piece for the price of farming the first boss for the boots. That being said, the changes outlined by Dev are A+ and I am definitely looking forward to when they become active.
  8. Then the armor value will be that of the light/medium piece that you put in it, it won't be the same as a heavy armor piece. The rating on armoring is the same across the three armor types, and the base item you put it in defines how much AC the armoring will add. The stats (i.e. str/end, defense rating, etc) will be the same regardless of the armor type, but the AC value will be poorer. I personally got the PvP 40 chest (and now the Corellia 50 chest), and I like the robed bottom look as well so I am running around with the Warbringer's Greaves from Hammer Station. http://www.torhead.com/item/52xW8F7/warbringers-greaves
  9. Good post, I did just want to edit one thing. Talented, the CD for AE Taunt is 30 sec, not 45. The standard CD for it is 45.
  10. Darth Helanar Ne'uruz - Sith Juggernaut First EQ surname, fitting since he was a dark elf warrior as well.
  11. Yeah, that's why I was posing the question. From what I had been messing with it would be very difficult to do so, I was just figuring out if I was missing something or if the % number needed to be clarified as to what the real static goal was without buffs.
  12. Personally, when I read the article linked, I took it for what it is, that at the top there are far less characters running around than in the low-mid zones. I am 44 and not 50 yet and over the last few planets I have noticed a severe drop in people in zone to group for Heroics, etc, with. I don't see this as a problem as I am one of those that has not begun leveling an alt much less multiple alts. I don't feel like this was a spin by Bioware to provide biased facts, etc. To me it doesn't matter how the statistics were gained, whether it was one char per account or all characters across an account. The simple fact is that there are more sub level 30 characters than there are post level 30 characters, whether it's due to people having lots of alts or just not able to play often, or enjoying the environment and immersion of the worlds.
  13. Back when WoW first launched, there definitely were queues to be had. Over the first few weeks it normalized to where there were not any queues, whether it was the addition of more servers, increasing population allowed per server, etc. I imagine that this is going to be what BioWare will be doing as they monitor the situation.
