  2. And more importantly, imho... There was reason to PvP in the world... you could take a 8 man crew and utterly disrupt the other factions Raiding Night(s). If said raid wasn't able to get past your crew, they didn't deserve the spoils of the raid. Pure Enjoyment. That was half the fun of Raid Nights. There was Purpose to PvP: To stop the opposing faction from getting better gear.
  3. There's nothing to do really. There's no substance to End Game... no objective... no goal.. Gear up, for what? I can PvP all day long, get my WH Gear, go buy my BM gear again to buy more WH gear to optimize Mods... but for what? There needs to be Interactive Space Missions that led to a Galatic Fleet Incurssion. Why don't we have large server based , min of 4 person group space mission (2 on turrets, 1 driving, 1 "healing/repairs) leading to a Fleet Raid? Mix PvP & PvE into the same 'Raid', where you need PvE Geared people (and change pve gear to a Ward based system like WAR) to take out the droids and PVP Geared people to protect against players (and if PVP people are stupid enough to not protect the PvE guys, then the Droids will whipe them due to a Ward based PvE geared system). Give us a system where you need to PVE to get bonuses that open up PVP & larget scale raiding... Provide Boons for winning side. Let us loot the spoils! Let us dominate other servers after we've destroyed the opposing Fleet on our server? The game has a ton of potential... but currently, it's just the same old humdrum. And after 15 years of MMO based gaming... it's getting OLD.. REAL OLD. DAOC, EVE, WOW, WAR... some of the best games imho... ton's to take and to build on from them.
  4. QQ is all that needs to be said really. Complaining on a PvP server? Man up. Get some Guildies or do a Call to Arms. Open World PvP... on a PvP Server... yep, pretty much says it all.
  5. 1) Other people percieve us (I'm Carnage) as OP because they do not take the time to learn the mechanics of the game. The VAST majority of our Burst DPS has incredible ~tells~; wheither it's Rage/Smash, Carnage/Gore, Anni/Rupt->Annihlate. 2) I have 1702 str, 456 B.Dmg, 30% crit & 71% Surge. I feel we are right where we should be playing against eqully geared... getting kicked in the Nutz by Smugglers & getting facerolled by Troopers (lil OP right now, but whetever, it's the cyclical nature of the game). Against unequally geared & skilled people... (X.X)
  6. Buying additional WH gear to min/max the mods. IE.. Leggings Mod's have good str / end. Use those in place of say the gloves mod.
  7. The difference between stacking Str - Pwr is that IF you focus on Str you can: IF 1 str = .0052 Crit & .2 Bonus Damage. Then 1800 Str = 9.36% Crit & 360 Bonus Dmg. Then 2000 Str = 10.4% Crit & 400 Bonus Dmg. IF 1 pwr = .23 Bonus Damage. Then 1500 Str & 300 Pwr = 7.8% Crit & 369 Bonus Dmg. Then 1500 Str & 500 Pwr = 7.8% Crit & 415 Bonus Dmg. The point is, look at the Crit difference by stacking STR vs PWR. You can now reduce your Mod's +Crit Rating and stack more Str / Pwr, while maintaining the same Crit %.   8. I'm confused... First the OP says his DPS is NOT as good as Snipers & Mara's... Then he goes on to say he "always tops the dps charts".... /Troll Move along, nothing to see here.
  9. It's not a stun. It' a Mez: breaks on dmg.
  10. ^^ is a good breakdown of the abilities. The reality is that all of those don't matter (outside of Undying Rage & Force Camo) when you are Focus Fired, which every good team does. There is no AoE knockback. There is no AoE Stun. There is no AoE Snare. There is no jumping to friendly targets. There is no CC/Snare Immunity clicky. There is no extended Vanish (dont' get me wrong, it's great, but force camo is a very short term), there is no Single Target Stun / Mez / Sleep to even odds. U had better use your Dmg Reduction cooldown to find which target is squishy, then burn them down, force camo to re-position, and burn down the next guy. If you fail at any one of these steps. U die.
  11. I have a rank 64 mara. I say Jugg: 1) Better Survivability when focused on. 2) Better Group PvP - can fill multiple roles as either tank/dps... plus AoE taunts 3) WAY, WAY WAY more utility: Jump to target, jump to friendly, aoe knockback 4) Great DPS. Mara 1) great single target dps 2) good cooldowns for dmg reduction, but you're hosed afterward 3) Predation x 2 is 4tW as Carnage 4) Force Camo = awesome 5) Roots!
  12. What pisses me off is that we can spend 1,000 WZ Comm's to buy 100 WZ Adernals OR we can spend 1,000 WZ Comm's to buy a lvl 6 Craftign Box and get Dioaxtrene-11's and make 22 WZ Adernals. How stupid is that? Wait for it... Very. At least make them Re-Usable for Biochem Crafters... I mean, really?
  13. Saying a 20% healing debuff and Snare is situational suggests you are a PVE'r. Thread states Carnage PVP Rotation. nuff said.
  14. I think many people are leaving out alot of skills in your rotation: Charge or run to target Snare + Assult + Throw (20% healing debuff) B.Assult + Mass + Gore + Ravage + Scream Forcechoke + Charge/Snare + Throw (20% healing debuff) Bezerk + Gore + Mass spam -> scream. -> Vicous Throw
