I understood exactly what OP was asking for because it's what initially made this game interesting for my boyfriend and I. Nobody said anything about forced co-op; people jumped to that wild conclusion themselves. The original planets have content that allows for group play in a way that the newer content doesn't. More group, we, "friendly"content is required. Something that makes us feel like we're genuinely playing together and that we exist in each other's SWTOR universe

Hey guys, I am back playing again. I recently jumped onto my Miraluka Sage and changed my 4th outfit. I did grumble a bit about my mask not matching. If I want to change my outfit again then I need to spend more cartel coins again to change it back Could we not just have our appearance locked in for each outfit? Like, a new hairstyle for outfit 3. Different make-up and hair for outfit 2. A different mask for each outfit for Miraluka? Just a thought; I'd love this and it would give more of the lesser used masks a chance to shine!

I think you're referring to someone like me? I play a few times a year for a couple of weeks at a time (I have ADD and my interests/obsessions change on a whim). I've been here since 2016. But I have dropped a lot of money on the game and it is a good game. I love the "Space Barbie"! I'm sure there really isn't any favouritism on EAs part that isn't justified in order to protect the game. Have a good day!

2? Lightsaber abilities? No, there's only one. The second one is Thash/Double Strike, this is the ability that was removed with 5.0. Like the OP and others in this thread, I also do not play PvP or Ops. I loved Double Strike and I miss Double Strike... In-fact, I would spend $100USD on a token that allows me to use it again; and why not? I've already spent hundreds on boosting other Jedi/Sith classes to level 70. I like healing with my Seer. People say, "play another toon", well I have and I don't enjoy them.

I guess what I'm trying to get at: Can we discuss the option of making PVP instances companion free? Would this encourage more open world PVP? I think so? Would it encourage more team play? I think so? Are there other things I'm not considering that might also be a positive?

Hey everyone! I am currently on Hoth searching for a HK part, anyway... I had a thought! I like to play in PVP instances exclusively because I relish the thought of testing myself against a true sith, but nobody is ever present in these instances when I am. It could possibly be my time zone (Australian East Coast), but I like to think it's also because of companions... My partner and I often used PVP instances when we played our jedi together; without companions (because I hate feeling useless (as a healer) and he hates feeling useless (as a DPS) since companions are better than players by default it seems. Would anyone actually want to enter a fight against someone with a companion? Thoughts? I'd love to test my self-sustain against the likes of a Mara for example, but 1v1? Good luck outside of duels. I look forward to your thoughts guys!! Am I just completely bonkers or could this actually encourage people to jump back into these dead instances, I want some action from time to time, but not from an enemy that is basically unstoppable because of their companion... and not in a pure PVP setting (because it's simply too stressful)

From the sound of it I will enjoy it when I reach it (using my seer). I played using melee very heavily when I first made her prior to 5.0 and I still play the same way; I love seeing her use her Saber in combat, I wish I still had double strike. My multitalented and multifaceted Jedi 🧡

I'm all too familiar with the, "that's not how you're supposed to play!" dictator spiel, but this comes from a desire to simply have fun. I enjoy healing with my Seer, but I do miss double strike. I would give up all my hard damage abilities if I could finally wield my saber into battle. If only!

It seems to me that you really want a melee healer. I do this with my seer, it does actually work if you're quick enough and have decent reaction times... but the way I play was really attacked with 5.0... I'm still angry about it and still dream of double strike - not even kidding hey

Wait.. Are you playing on OWPvP instances? If so, why? (Because it's empty?? It shouldn't be) I enjoy PvP instances, but I always play with more than 1 other player in my group. My only gripe is that companions still haven't been completely excluded.. I'm a healer, why am I in competition with an opposing NPC that has broken heals and never runs out of force (correct me if I'm wrong.. I never have a companion with me) But that hardly seems balanced... Why not encourage group play through PvP instances. There's also a very certain thrill you get knowing you could be attacked by Sith at any moment. ((Also in regards to ganking.. Think of it from an RP perspective. If a Jedi ganked you, then that raises questions... But if you're randomly assaulted by Sith?? Well they're on their missions and you're a threat to their success, of-course they'll attempt to eliminate you as swiftly as possible) I approve of the level sync though.
