Hi, Yeah they are pretty close and I think I could easily get away with using it over getting the blues, but just think it is weird as to why they would not make it the same stats as the blue ones, specially as it is so close in stats, kind of the perk of being a bio-chem. And just to those who are going to say "Why should we pay and you...blah blah", as a bio-chem who only has 1 prof, I have to buy augments at 120k a pop, because I chose not to use that prof, so give me real rewards for the one I actually chose. I checked this tonight and you are correct. I only used the rakata one before hand. I would of had a moan back then if I had noticed too. All in all, if they make them the same stats as the blue, it does not cost anyone else any more, as if you can use the purple, your going to make your own blues anyway. Just seems daft to me. Hello all, I finally got round to getting my skills up to max level, to find that the blue stims are more powerful than the re-usable purple stim? What the hell? I would not expect the purple to be more powerful, but I would certainly expect it to have the same stats as the blue ones! Please can you tell us if this was a mistake? and will be corrected? Not like purple armour, weapons, mods etc are worse than the blue items for other crafters. Stacks

8P I have to admit, I never took it when I first startd out. I kind of though '1' Second, what is the point. But then I found out, as it is the biggest hitter, and the longest cast, it tends to get interrupted. With the 1 second off, I can get it out more often. I have been playing with the talent tree today. I always thought the reduction was while in cover and not just hunker down. Feel like two points I had there are a waste now, as I will generally run away from AOE which keeps popping my Cover screen and then in turn ballistic dampeners. Hi, Very valid. I love playing PVP and mostly on my main which is me Slinger. I am a sharpshooter build :>) When I am being left alone, my dmg is very nice. When I am being attacked, I become very annoying, as I will start to use, Cover pulse, Leg shot, Dirty kick, Flash bang and the interrupt. If you can become very fast at switching between full out DPS, to pulling off your defensive and annoying moves, I am sure you will love it. I use a Naga Epic mouse with Logitech G13. Took me a while, but I can switch between offence and defence without taking my eyes off the screen or thinking about where me fingers should go. As per the last post though, with lower gear, you will struggle with Sharp shooter, as its based round Crit IMO, as the 30% increase talent at the top of the tree is for Crit not all round damage. So low crit will kill the build. Full war hero will sort you out and then elite is a bonus. find their healer, drop in a flourish shot, then take cover, throw a sticky bomb on them, then use instant charged burst from taking cover and follow up with an aimed shot (which is now 1 second faster cast after your charged burst), then an instant Trick shot. Normally I will be able to drop a Quick draw in at this point too. When the above rotation is used with a Distrtaction, watch the healer panic and most often be dead!

Hello all, I use this bad boy in me off hand. I was lucky enough to get the pistol from the cartel packs, which is random. It has an animation round it of a radar type thing, but the pistol itself is the same model as the needler. So I have one in both hands, one of which has the targeting system. I will try get a screen shot up laters. I am sure though even before I was lucky enough to get the cartel one, I had another one like the needler. I hate it when your want to plant a bomb in Voidstar for example, and there is one member of the other team defending the door. So I CC the guy and happily start to plant the bomb which would be successful before his mates could get round to his help calls, only to find some clown on my team has rolled up and shot him out of CC, giving him the abiltiy to then stop me planting.

I like to use a Razor Naga Epic along with a Logitech G13. I then alter my UI in game so I have the first four bars as 3 columns by 4 rows, which then matches the exact layout of the 12 buttons on the side of my mouse. I setup the G13 with all the buttons I need, but as my fingers sit, it is 'Shift key' under my pinky finger and 'Ctrl key' under that 'Shift Key' and 'Alt Key' under my thumb. This means without really moving my hand, I have instant access to 48 abilities. As I setup 2nd bar as Shift Modifier, 3rd bar as Alt modifier and 4th bar as Ctrl modifier. It took a while to get used to and learn things, but once you learn where all the bits are, it is game on. On my Sniper for example, I can hold shift and slide my thumb across the bottom row of keys on the mouse (0, -, = amd 9), which deploys all my defensive abilities instantly.

I so call him Fish Face! I come from the dark side where my main was a sniper. The healing companion on the sniper is very good, so as such I was really gutted when I looked at the picture of Guss, as I really wanted a humanoid who talks English. I was not only suprised that he did speak English, but even more so at how funny he is. By far my fav companion and I love the fact he can use all my hand me downs!!!!! so his gear level is never far behind my own. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Well, I have had a change of heart. After getting to lvl 40 with full lvl 40 PVP outfit, I was really dissapointed with the output dmg. I am comparing this to Mara, Merc, Sniper and Assasin which I did the same thing on all of them. I was so dissapointed I turned him into my healer and am now making a new Smuggler main. Just my opinion, but it did sadden me!
