The best looking pistol I think is the Rancor X, you can get it from a planet com vendor Tat I think. I got 2 and my slinger looks like he is packing two 1911's. Been using those shells for about 6 months, when I get better weapons I just pull the mods out and stick them in my Rancors. Not sure I understand the question but if you move BM or RAK Armor from a set to a Augmented BM or RAK set you will keep the bonus. But if you move the Rak or BM armor to a different skin you will lose the set bonus, My Rak chest is not the rak one i am using a different one.Sense I only replaced on peace I still have the set 4 bonus. Now All new sets with lvl 61 mods the set bonus follows the armor mod. So to sum up all old sets you can only move the mods to aug set of the same type to keep the set bonus cause the set bonus is tied to the skin, the new sets the bonus follows the armor mod. hopes this helps.

I was under the impression that you can take out the all mods and the Armor mods from tier gear and it will carry over the set bonus. So you can put those in orange gear to make the look you want.

On my server the Imps and Pubs are equal, it's all about your gear in PvP fights.......and skill of course working together in fights is the key to winning. just going for kills will not help you win if you do not cap the nodes or pass the ball in Huttball.

At every new Level I'm buying new mods for my gear ( got all orange armor and weapons) and I am gearing up my comps too. If your taking too much damage during PvE use a Tank comp and make sure they're geared for the level your fighting at. As for PvP pick your spots never stay in one spot for too long. Get into cover burn a imp down move and take cover again so you get the Damage dampers and no cast charged shot. Also be aware of all your cool downs in a fast paced PvP match knowing what skill you have ready to use will safe you seconds in unwanted waste in time. GS is a DPS machine in PvP you just need to relax and not get flustered and take your time.

39 Slinger no alts been playing sense the first day of EA. Though i do craft and chat a lot and run flashpoints like crazy.

I've been playing sense the day one of EA play about four hours a day and more on the weekends and I just got to 30 last night and leveling seems to have slowed down. Going to be a long time till I hit 50, but what a ride.

It is Christmas Eve and when I logged out my server was dead, seems like players are out and about doing Christmas stuff tonight. Hopefully when I get back from doing fam stuff tonight it could be better. Just a thought but like i said every server is different. I'm off for the night you all have a merry Christmas or other holiday things.

On my server I have no issue finding groups for anything as DPS. Flashpoints are easy to find groups I use the fleet pass and fast travel to the fleet and with in a few minutes I can find a group for any of the flashpoints. I can see why BW put all the falshpoints on the fleet it promotes players to come to the fleet and socialize because with out the falashpoints being there why would anyone go to the fleet. Though this really means nothing as every server is different and it could be that the OP's server no one really hangs out at the fleet which does suck.

Bio seems to be the best for End game as everyone will want stims and medpac's. As far as the reusable medpacs you have to have Bio to use them and even then the blues are better because they heal and have a HOT. Bio seems the way to go
