That's difficult or challenging or economy building? The economy the designers envision would be commiserate with 20%, your opinion of what makes an economy or this economy is yours. This is a bit higher level conversation about the fact that there is a number and the number is meaningless, and if it isn't something is broken. Should you feel that somehow 0 of 18 or 10 of 200 is consistent with 20% then by all means post your theorem or get a clue and laugh while the real questions are being asked. To clarify for both of you, if it's not as simple as 80 or above, and they are using a formula to calculate the percentage, say one with an additive property or plus a percent of the original roll with a 2 die toss to allow rolls to exceed 100 then they may need to have another look at it or maybe some recipes got broken in the patch.

I think I get your meaning, based on that if you buy an item and can RE it and when you try it says you can research it then yes. If when you are in reverse engineering mode it doesn't show that you can learn from it then no.

Actually it does, plug 18 into the fomula above and see if it is within the standard deviation of the statistical mean for an appropriate factual listing of 20%, or if that 20% is really just fluff. There needs to be an upper limit, as in each try increases the chance of the next or ... for godsakes you've tried 40 times here have it and move on. Actually I have to agree with the original poster, while I understand it takes a roll of 80 or 81 and higher per item, and is not a 1 in 5 chance cumulatively I have crafted and re'd 18 blue reflex barrel 7s and not gotten the purple. Also not that it matters to the formula, but I feel like it should, my armstech skill is at 400. Worse this kind of thing leads to the questions of what is broken and what isn't. I spent a good amount of resources trying to re scatterguns and vibroblades before finally asking someone is this broken and finding out it was. I know many people have re'd purple reflex 7 barrels, but who has since the 1.2 patch? What schematics are broken now?

Rattataki Jedi Sentinel - and maybe a Mirialan Sith Warrior or Bounty Hunter Playing on test though the best of 1.2 for me is the UI sizing. It feels like a different game, like playing a game with info at the edges instead of sitting at a HUD looking at a game.

I have been wondering if the term "grind" had morphed for a while now. It used to be that the leveling grind meant you literally ran out of content each level or every couple of levels and had to go "grind" mobs with no point to it to level up. Now doing the content is a grind. I'm honestly wonder why you'd play if you don't like the content?

Are test characters persistent, or do they wipe them at intervals?

Actually we're 2 veteran MMO players, and don't linger but also do not spacebar through. Your friend must PvP alot which we don't do, only the PvE content.

Really? I have played since early access in a duo with a friend, and even with the bonus for grouping on every quest our characters are at 35 and 36. That is playing approx. 8-15 hours a week.

The space game was the only part of SWG that appealed to me, I sincerely hope they basically clone it here.

I guess I should have asked, you mean for companions or everyone. For your PC you can toggle show helmet in the social panel. There's nothing for Compaions though, and looking at Doc in a gas mask or Kaliyo in a cybernetic pig snout just doesn't do it for me.
