  1. It was fairly straightforward to Solo after all that, using Jolt did make all the difference. I completed it with an Assassin, and was still finding that the Sithspawn had the edge until I respecc'ed my skills to take Resolute - which cut down the cooldown on Jolt and Unbreakable Will. I think this would be very hard to solo without being able to shorten the cool downs. It's a strange mission really, It would be much harder in a group of four unless you took a dedicated healer. Working with companions, it just takes much longer. I'd like to find out if there is someway to take the Sithspawn's attention off your companion, and ensure it drops on you (and therefore the canister) - that would really cut down the time it took.
  2. nyrkverse! It was your walkthrough I was watching on YouTube! Thanks a lot for that. And thanks for this explanation, I can't believe I didn't think about breaking the stun. I was just stupidly letting it feed off me. I was so focused on getting it to burst the canisters, I didn't think that the trick was something that I needed to do. I feel slightly better in that everyone in my group was as clueless as me. Thanks for the help!
  3. Hi all, Can anyone shed any light on this mission. I'm starting to think it's bugged. I've tried soloing it, I've tried it in groups, I've followed a walk-through on YouTube, where I copy everything that's done, but I can never get past the same part. When you face the Corrupted Sithspawn Experiment, I can get it down to 50%, but never any lower. When it hits a canister, I can get it to lose a fair amount of health, but it always feeds off me and gets back to around 75%. That happens everytime. From what I've seen online, and in my own gameplay, I can tell that you need to get it to keep hitting the canisters to weaken it, but the cannisters do not explode everytime. Eventually I run out of canisters, and need to reset the fight (not that I've ever got very far) Can anyone give any tips on this one, or at least confirm if it is bugged.
  4. That will disappoint me. My class-mission Quinn is now pretty much composed of droid parts. It seemed to be the only reasonable response to his actions in the at the end of the warrior quest-line. It'll be a shame to get him back with his body intact.
  5. That's what I was thinking - it's less obvious with Vette, but Lieutenant Pierce and Major Pierce are essentially two different characters. I was given the gear back for Lieutenant Pierce, who I now have no access to. Altering Major Pierce makes no difference. Like I said - storywise it doesn't make much difference, but I was hoping to get it sorted before I did a Veteran play though. I know I already know the story line, but seeing Pierce fighting in Chapter two wearing only his boxers and a big gun alongside a twi'lek in her bra and pants is a little off putting while Valkorian is describing the fall of the Empire...
  6. No. I'd given them different gear throughout the class missions and RotHC and SoR. When I first played KotET they were wearing the outfits as they were when I finished SoR. Just as the character was unlocked in the KotET storyline, I had all the gear returned to me. They characters are back now - in their new gear, and it doesn't show in the re-runs. Specifially it's Vette and Lieutenant/Major Pierce I'm talking about.
  7. Could anyone suggest what could be wrong... When I go to the companion console on Odessan, it doesn't glow blue like most selectable points in the game do. When I right click on it, it does start, but all I get is an animation of my toon looking at a Galactic Map. There is no text whatsoever underneath the animation, as I presume there should be. It is as if the conversation starts, but doesn't properly initialise. I'm just at the end of KOTFE, and about to start chapter 1 of KOTET. I am also playing the Sith Warrior - so I realise most of my toons do have a role to play - the only toons that are not unlocked are Quinn and Wilsaam - and I realise Quinn is due back after KOTET, Does anyone else know why I can't get the console to activate properly, or is this a bug? Thanks in advance
  8. Hi, I've posted this in General Discussion, as I don't think it's really a bug, because I can see what's causing it - I was just wondering if anyone knew a way of resolving it. I've just been replaying KOTFE for the first time since my initial run-though, and in episodes 1 and 2 you get to see your old companions again. The companions I have unlocked through the KOTFE story, though, seem to abandoned all dignity, and are fighting for their lives in their dainties. Maybe you came across the Eternal Fleet in the middle of the night. Who knows? As I said - I can see how this is happening, when I did the mission to unlock the companion for the KOTFE questline, I was given all of their initial gear back. I didn't realise that it wasn't keeping anything for them; that the old companion wouldn't simply be wearing the new companion's gear in the re-runs. Is there anyway to re-equip something back to the pre-KOTFE toons - even if it's just their initial armor. It's not massively important from a game-play point of view, but it is somewhat distracting from the storytelling for major companions to be in the nip at important cut scenes.
