  1. I understand money sinks for sure. They're necessary. I understand paying NPC's to fix my gear, paying a vendor for some supplies, or paying a trainer to teach me new abilities. But I'll agree with the OP that the modding cost doesn't really make "any sense". The money just vanishes. I'm not giving it to anyone for any service. It would seem to me the game could have been a little more creative than disappearing money.
  2. This is a great idea for a character ! I think I may steal it from you. Very original, sounds like a lot of fun !
  3. 60 views and nothing ? No one ? We can do whatever we want to our UI, and no one wants to share their creativity ?
  4. So, Bioware gave us the tools to build our own UI, and I'm sure some of you have done some really nice things. So, let's see what you got ! I'll start with mine, but only because I'm asking haha. Certainly nothing special. http://img809.imageshack.us/img809/4384/screenshot2012041323452.jpg
  5. I enjoyed developing my own UI. I like Reverse Engineering tooltips that show what I could learn, and what chance I have to learn it. I like mission items being put in my mission log, so I can click on them instead of having to put them on my bar, or opening my bag to use them. I REALLY liked not getting booted with an Error 9000 since the patch. (knock on wood, hopefully it isn't just a coincidence). Just a few things I've enjoyed from the top of my head
  6. I don't like fighting the same side. This is a story driven game, and it's just stupid. I suppose Huttball is OK, it's just a game, but the others make no sense to me. Plus, I don't like fighting my buddies. So group with my buddies, I know. But, can't group with all of them - and it kinda rubs me that one match I'm guarding or healing or whatever a mate, and the next match I'm trying to swat him. It just seems like we're *more* teammates when fighting the other side, rather than the same people we're about to be dancing with by the pvp vendor between ques. (the dancing is just a wise-crack, I know most people do other stuff - but, making a light hearted crack at all the people ganged up around there.)
  7. Ah, tyvm I bolded a part of your thoughts, so I can agree ! haha. That is exactly what I found. In the 'very beginning' of my SWTOR, I ran a full planet or 2. And found just what you did. There is just so much to do, that i was quickly outleveling flashpoints. And vice-versa. I'd do a couple gear chase runs through Black Talon (or Esseles), and scratch my pvp itch with a couple matches - and whammo - I was sitting 3-4 levels above the quests that I was on.
  8. Just watched Star Wars (A New Hope) with my 5 year old, was pretty cool. He enjoyed it. But, I really "remember" the light saber battle between Darth Vader and Obi Wan Kenobi being MUCH more epic ! After watching it 30ish years later, all I could see was how they could barely hold up their arms haha.
  9. Thanks guys. Yeah, I was thinking about hitting a few of them on a run through, but IDK. You guys definitely didn't "talk me into it". Which is good I guess - just play it whatever way I find fun at the time . And not have to worry about "missing" any great story lines or something . Thanks again
  10. That's how I play . I leveled 50 a couple months ago, and was about to jump into end game stuff, but had a few family members pick up the game. So, I decided to reroll on another server with them (bigger population). I'm having a blast just keeping pace with them, and not rushing the game to "check out the end game". I have 4 toons now in the 23-30 range, as one of them is brand new to MMO's so is leveling (& learning) slowly. But, no complaints at all - I'm having a blast. I leveled my 50 almost strictly in war zones, and had fun doing so. And, like I said with the new crop of toons - I run war zones, flash points, and "quest" just enough to keep my class story quests green. But, I've wondered recently, am I missing alot of SWTOR fun by skipping planet heroic quests, or side quest lines ? Are they fun ? Interesting ? Thanks for the read & responses ! TL/DR : Are the side quest lines any fun ?

    Marking Healers

I agree with the OP that marking in WZs needs to be changed. But, I think everyone should be able to mark. Way to often someone has to ask the leader to mark someone, and then, it only sometimes gets done.
  12. haha, fail post bro. Good try though bro, I respect you.
