  1. Lets not forget that the people who complain and wants pvp to be equal are the ones who would never achieve high ratings (and still play 24/7). My guess is that these people are afraid there will be some level of gear not available to them and it makes them sad. Also they use this as a counterargument to why they don't succeed. Because some people have better gear..... Lets put it like this. If you're in a job and you and your collegue is paid the same amount of money, and you're working hard and he's just lying on the floor drooling in his own vomit. Is that fair? Does it make you want to work hard? No, and thats how PvP in swtor is. We don't complain because we work hard and get nothing special for it. We complain because all the **** players get the same as we do and they do absolutely nothing for it. It wasn't always like this, but then **** players became the majority and the companies had to cater for them, thus... here we are. Money talks !
  2. If you're seriously unable to understand why there is no choice atm for queuing then I am amazed and it seems that you're only objective is to complain because things doesn't suit YOU in the best possible way. There are decent and valid reason for this to not be in the game at the moment. Also Huttball is awesome. If you disagree you probably suck at it
  3. People with attitudes like this is what ruins PvP (and the game). Has nothing to do with the mechanics. Sadly!
  4. If you put loot in Nightmare mode that scrubs can't get with a PUG BioWare will get major QQ from these (the majority sadly) players. It's the same argument as with arenas and people not wanting them if they give better loot. If you're not gonna play arena or nm-mode then you don't need it anyway so stop whining. I would like to add one thing to your post; - In this current state with all the points you've made here it's also no point for a guild to have more than 10 members and raid once per week. Conclusion; the game is for casual players who don't want to make an effort. BioWare doesn't give a rats *** about the rest of us since we're the minority and we don't pay the bills.
  5. Ok, so you want the medal nerfed so it's easier for you to get? Typical bad scrub suggestion.
  6. No matter how you put it and how many wrongs the system has it will never rule out the fact that the main problem is peoples attitude. Most people just want the system to benefit them the most, and not even in a fair way. People expect to get the same as everyone else no matter how bad they are, how little time the spend and how unable they are to even join a wz together with a friend. And they whine about this in the name of "fairness". If the system was truly fair these people would never see a piece of champion gear. Much less Battlemaster. Right now the system is unfair towards good players who actually spend time on the game, and it rewards people who are not, and who don't. Rank requirement on Champion gear would immediately fix this. It would end the bag hysteria. Make people stop leaving warzones because they would have no reason since they would need Valor to use their Champion. And it would actually make Centurion gear "better" since people would be careface about it since they can just luck out with bags and get Champion. At the end of the day the whiners ruin the game. They did with WoW and has done with every game is. The fact that you just subscribe to the game doesn't mean you're entitled to everything everyone else has. Tottenham doesn't whine about it not being fair that they don't win Premier League. They don't because they are not good enough. And when you lose against someone in a Warzone it's because they are better than you. Sure it might be a premade, but they are better than you because they bother to be organized and play with friends. Something which is the main part of a Multiplayer game. People tend to forget that in their gear-crazed stupor! Stop blaming BioWare and take a look in the mirror.
  7. It's easy. If you don't like arenas, then you don't play it. If you don't like it, then you sure as hell don't need the gear from it so no point in whining about that either. The reason people whine is because they know they CANT get it because they don't have what it takes which again makes them feel it's unfair.
  8. Stop whining about premades and gear. Thats your illusion of the problem. The problem is that people leave as soon as someone else scores. No matter if it's against a premade or not. They do this because they just want to finish their quest and they don't bother pvp'ing. This attitude doesn't make sense to me because if they don't want to play why do they need to finish the quest to get the gear? Sadly this is what mmo's have come to.
  9. But.... but.... but... what are the people who are unable to win due to their low skill level and ignorance suppose to do? It would be unfair if people who are good and are able to win gets better PvP gear than the people who mindlessly run around and never will participate in competitive PvP anyway. I propose a new rule; The worse you are, the easier it should be to get gear! Maybe reward an extra bag to people who never pass in Huttball or always leaves when the score goes 0-1....! Also if you are unable to raid, you should just get raid gear for free so it's fair!! End of Sarcasm!
  10. You are wrong! The fact of the matter is that I seem to end up with monkeys in my group the whole day while the other team is always filled up with korean superfarmers. Skill always trumps gear. We've seen it in all mmo's, but they people who don't have it tend to think that everytime they get killed it's because someone had better gear, not because they did the right things. It just doesn't cross their minds!

    Good Job BW!

The main problem doesn't have anything with gameplay to do. It's WHY people PvP. Now people PvP mainly for one reason. To get their daily and weekly quest done. This means that if they see the match goes bad, they leave to join a new one. Thus making the chance that you join a losing game alot higher. This is behavior I don't understand because if you're not gonna PvP then why in gods name do you need the gear? BioWare has essentialy created incentives for dumbed-down PvP. There is no fruit other than bags and daily quests. Nothing to stretch for that doesn't involve grinding. When I see the arena discussions I get even more sad. People say they don't mind arenas as long as people don't get better gear from them. Again, I don't see the problem. If you're not gonna play Arena then you DONT NEED THE GEAR! Basically people can't handle it if someone got something due to pure skill. (I probably let lose the gear>skill troll now)
