not sure if this was mentioned, but when you select shadow/assassin or sent/mara, the lightsaber overlaps with the white text, making it unreadable also, infiltration/deception is marked as a ranged dps? O.o a lot of the tech classes were holding invisible guns in the preview for me, until I selected another tech origin story, and then they appeared the tooltip for species names are not connected to the button, but appear off the side skin color is almost impossible to select (can only use the < button; because the options overlap with the zoom in/out and turn character buttons)

yup (didn't test since last patch, but I doubt it would get a stealth fix)

haven't tested those yet but ever since they fixed shadow/scoundrel reflects on Master&Blaster, saber reflect no longer does any damage when it reflects ranged attacks (you still absorb them though); force/tech attacks are same as before (absorbs and does dmg)

can confirm, the only thing you can reflect with any class is guardian adds (none of the other adds, and none of the boss attacks)

I'm not going to comment on the healing amounts nerf but BW, please.. if you're going to be nerfing sage healing, heal the actual healing, not the quality of life.. I don't have any trouble with force management, but it's simply. Not. Fun. At. All. and now you're planning to make it even worse, simply to bring the hps down to the target hps why? nerf healing, not QoL (actually, I'm already having close to no fun on my healer anymore, though it used to be my main for years; I was hoping for a QoL buff, not this ****)

in my opinion this is the biggest issue getting blue loot is such a slap in the face; because you're better off with running vet ops (blue 244 is objectively worse than 242) honestly, if it dropped 2 random 246 pieces, everything would be fine in my opinion the other option, of putting components in the drop sounds good as well, IF! the amount dropped is large, 1 average upgrade per ops; if it's any lower than 50 components per boss, there should at least be a piece of 246 loot as well and well.. 4.0 spoiled us too much; we shouldn't expect that again.. EV HM farm to get BiS gear

alright, lotsa things here TL;DR: this tool is 100% safe, even if you try to break the game, you can't use it if you like, don't use it if you don't the executable is NOT required to use this tool; it's simply convenience; you can run the source code with about 5 minutes extra work first of all, there is no way for BW to detect this tool. it's impossible for BW to ban you for using this tool, even if they didn't like it (I'll PM eric if he can give an official statement, to put your minds to rest) I know this might look similar to people who datamine, or try to hack or cheat; but that is impossible with this tool; not even close it uses very different files; files that BW knows are unsafe for them to trust; they're going to throw away any garbage you/I might put in there in fact, BW doesn't even care if the files don't exist (that would be like running the game on a new computer) also, BW doesn't care if you manually add the files (that would be like restoring a backup from a broken pc) that's all this tool does, it add settings that you added to the default file, into the other files (which would be the same as manually editing them, which would be the same as adding a file from a different pc of yours, or a backup) although I haven't read the TOS all the way through, I HIGHLY doubt this would go against it. it doesn't alter anything from the games folder (where you installed it); all it changes is the character settings that are stored on your computer, which includes things like chat tabs and custom chat channels the executable is only there for convenience, since not everyone knows how to work with python (I made the exe for a friend, then decided to share it anyway) this is not like other addons from other games (which use lua); because BW does not support anything like that you can imagine this tool being sort of like an addon which lets you set a character profile, and apply that to all your characters at once if you don't want to risk running an exe: feel free to download and install python, then run the python code (it's very simple to do I think) I think multiple people here have read the code, and agree it's safe; if you're not sure, try read it yourself, it should be relatively easy to understand (and you can at least see it doesn't do things like "format C" or "send passwords.txt to hax@gmail.com" or whatever ) and of course, there is nothing forcing you to use this tool. I like it, my friend liked it, some of you like it; if you don't like it that's up to you

that's not what this tool does a list of what I personally sync between my characters with this tool (which is impossible to do quickly ingame) chat colors chat tabs (and what channels you see in each tab) custom chat channels (saves you from typing /cjoin on all your toons) enable chat timestamps select which GUI I want to use (you have to first make one ofc) ignore about 10 confirm dialogues ingame (like setting utilities etc) how much the map fades when you're walking (the default makes corellia impossible to navigate) show cooldown text (a must) change GCD style and CD style change when /who opens the social window check the gf ops in-progress button hope that clears up some confusion there is no easy way to do this ingame, which is why I made this tool for myself, and since I shared it with some friends who loved it, I thought I'd share it here as well

I originally made the executable for my friends/guildies and indeed, you should be wary about downloading executables; anyone who doesn't want to risk it can download the sourcecode, and install python (or build an exe themselves) to install python (which isn't required), you should google it, top result should be good (any link I give you is potentially unsafe ) with regards to the game rules: you're all safe what it does, is it simply edits the files in your settings folder, (it syncs up all your characters to a default one) it cannot help you cheat, it cannot change ANYTHING that the game doesn't allow you to change the only changes possible are things you can change ingame as well all this tool does is make it go faster (you won't have to relog and manually change everything; which is a pain if you have more than 2 alts )

as the title says, I made a tool to quickly update settings across all my characters this is mostly helpful for people with tons of alts how does it help you? if you're changing a setting on a character, and want that to be the same for all of your character easily join a custom channel on all of your characters quickly setup new characters to have the settings you like and more how it works: download the .rar file here move the files to your swtor settings folder | on windows this is C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\SWTOR\swtor\settings by default | or simply type "%localappdata%\swtor\swtor\settings\" in windows explorer edit the _default_PlayerGUIState.ini file to your liking make sure the game isn't running run the _updateSettings.bat file to apply your new settings this tool was written in python, and I've included the source-code in the .rar file; as well as in the spoiler below this tool can't help you cheat in any way, and it does not break any of the game rules

replacing 65 with 70 in the formulas seems to be all the change there is, I've checked it with tanking stats

having a cap is very reasonable, and I'm actually happy it's there the only thing I don't like is that commando reflect has the same cap, while they're supposed to reflect only half as much as shadow tanks

this is I think the most bugged out utility in 4.0 it also gave stacks to the target of your guard; this is still the case, but only in dps specs (at least, my tank doesn't give the stacks, while an infiltration specced friend did give the stacks to his guard target) in addition to this it seems to give the armor increase to dps, and the mobility buff for tanks; I for one am not complaining
