  1. This definitely needs to be fixed.. but there appears to be a work-around. Everyone needs to tilt their cameras up to the ceiling to force the slabs to drop for them. That includes the falling stones in the Gharj fight. The reason why I say everyone is that it's for each individual person to allow them to see the fact that they've fallen. Not just forced them to do so.
  2. I was just coming to report this one myself. I've noticed it twice now on both Warrior & Inquisitor. But, I jumped into the FE content w/o checking that stuff on his companion. And there were some story referenced in there that I believe were based off the fact that I'd romanced the companion in question. I won't say which class or which companion, but the romanced companion was specifically called out a couple of times. (One of which HAD to be due to the romance flag.) So Yes & No... It's a bug that should be addressed... but it appears that it may not effect the story choices. (At least it didn't appear to do so for me.)
  3. Hotfix is up... THis issue isn't fixed. Which is annoying as hell. They PROMISED that they didn't want to take away anything that we'd earned. We'd functioned under the premise that we might have lost them.. but then they realized how much of a mistake that'd be. And guess what... they have taken them away anyway... because the terminal that was supposed to give them back Getting a new companion up to 10 (Which is where all maxed affection companions prior to it are located).. sure. Fine.. whatever. Anyway, Hotfix.. no word on the fact that they screwed this up... no word on when it's due to be fixed. The Dev team turned the two execs who ran their first live-stream into a bunch of liars. And yea, I know.. loaded with a bunch of.. "Holy Hyperbole, Batman" statements... but ultimately, that's how I feel. I can get over some of the changes (And things taken away)... But, this is a royal kick in the teeth. Especially when they PROMISED us.. they wouldn't do what they've essentially done. FIX IT
  4. Obvious question, but I have to ask. Did you log into the toon that you collected all the datacrons on? (Cause some of us were thinking they were checked on via a lore-check.) It is also one of the first things I was going to check. (Cause in my case.. I did them all on my main and very few on my alts.)
  5. Okay, so here's one that just nearly got me panicked. Relics. Or more specifically pre 4.0 Artifice trained relic schematics. Are we losing those? or will the 186 schems that we had still be craftable post 4.0??
  6. Yea, Had I known that a bug report forum still existed. I'd have started here... and not on the Answers page. Where we have not gotten any.
  7. 4 rewards out of the 6 I was expecting. Good percentage for baseball. bad percentage for customer service. (Ticket will be submitted tomorrow morning to give some extra grace period room in the event that my toons were split into separate batches.
  8. So, there are others who have gotten their rewards for the August screwup.... but you split those up into separate batches apparently? Because I'm still owed 6 weeklys (Guild rewards from then).. and I've got nothing. Submitted a ticket.. that was closed... because I KNEW this crap would happen.
  9. So I assume this will also include the missing rewards from the week of 8/18 to 8/23?? You know, the one you told us you were compiling a script to make sure everyone got their proper rewards?
  10. So what you're saying is.. that if the pattern that's existed since I came back 2 months ago... You're risking the exact same thing happening in the same week as you're taking the servers down before the next death-mark week. (Following the Dread War event... tentatively set for the week of the 15th. Meaning we wouldn't get the reward until sept. 22. Unless you plan to run a patch before Relics of the Gree set to start on Sept. 8th. At any rate.. you're intending to run a script to give the rewards for a previous week... when they could be interfering with the rewards that should be there when we come back from yet another patch. When it's already been going on that it seems people (Though the most recent one seemed to effect almost everyone)... You're risking the exact same thing happening again. And possibly hoping that your script or lack-there-of will be covered up by the rewards owed for the week that had just ended. That being said, I appreciate the update.. given that we hadn't heard a thing all week. But, I don't have faith in you getting this right. (Not after the season 5 rewards script effort being screwed up.) Especially since you're doing it at the same time as a patch.. which the patch seemed to be what caused the problem in the first place.
  11. just throwing my support behind the above poster. That's a very accurate description of the 3 specs for PvE. My personal preference, is and always will be combat, but I see the advantages of the others in endgame situations. (Especially given how low my AoE damage is for clearing 'difficult' group and nuke trash in raids. *Takes drink* I mean Ops.)
  12. The problem with this type of question is it all comes down to which is best for you. When you ask which is better, what you are really asking is which tree/spec combo can I hit the hardest with? Which one will make me so Ub3r that all shall bow before me in fear. There is no true answer for that for Sentinel specs. Because they all have their pluses and minuses. As you discovered. Watchman's can be cleansed, but they can also start a burn on someone and kill them even if they get away. Combat can hit a crap ton very quickly, but every PvPer worth anything knows that, and has defensive techniques and cooldowns that can mitigate that. So you have to pick your spot on when to really hit em. Focus sents are very effective 'smash' monkeys in their own right. And are absolutely stellar against multiple targets.. but as was stated, are a bit of a one trick pony. Simply put, there is no way to get a diffinitive answer to this question. But, you just need to figure out which works best for you in PvP. And the only real way to find that out is work with em, until you're happy.
  13. War Hero and Elite War Hero gear pieces as well.
  14. okay, some historical clarification, for a thread that until the other day.. was 'dead' for a year. Trainer bought 400 Rakata schematics (THis is for all crafting classes.) started out as BoP to be a self made reward for anyone who got themselves to max crafting for that class. THe Exotic ingredient needed dropped 1 at the end of each Hardmode Flashpoint, and 1 on each storymode Ops boss. This made it possible to farm Columni grade diffculty bosses to get a material to make a rakata grade item. Those items (Biometric Crystal Alloy's.) used to be purely BoP themselves. (Non tradable nor sellable.) The Hardmode Difficulty would drop random schematics that were Columni grade equivalent. (These schematics were BoE craftable.. but the schematic itself was/is BoP... meaning you can't send the schem to an alt.. and you had to be there in the fight when it dropped to get it.) Those items needed Alien Data Cube's to craft. (which dropped in the same ops.) The "rakata' items existed for 'dailies' fairly early on.. meaning that they could be obtained w/o having to buy from crafters.. but if you had credits and not comms, it was 'easier' to buy from the GTN. The crafted version also were much more expensive early on because they could 'proc' and augment slot. At one point after all this BoP, BoE confusion over items and craftability, those Exotic materials converted to be sellable/tradable. Increasing the likelyhood of finding what you may need. They then introduced the idea of augmentation kits. Meaning that the proc'd augments were nearly obsolete. (You could augment every equipable item in the game. All 14 Slots.) Making it even easier to make equiptment that could be consider best in slot. Side note, there also exists Tionese schematics that drop in flashpoints and ops. Those items use the same as the trainer bought rakata's.. and are also BoP. (That to me was the stupid one.... absolutely pointless items save for yourself of your companions.) But after the history lesson.. the basic answer for why those Rakata's are not sellable.. and in my opinion should never be sellable for profit is because they are too easy to make in relation to the stats bonuses they provide based on their level. The Material cost, by mechanics, is cheaper than anything else that is 'rakata' equivalent. 2.0 is a complete game changer for gearing for endgame. So we shall see what happens when it goes live and the economy adjusts.
