with all the bashing threads and negative people that do nothing but complian i would like to make a happy thread lol.
LARGE SCALE EPIC PVP STAR BATTLES!!!
We have all been talking about it but i think this is on a whole new level. It would take some time to make this but heres what i envision. Its starts off with the guild mother ship (i dont see this "teamwork" going so well if you just mash together a bunch of random people hence it being a guild pvp.) Now across the space battlefield is the apposing teams mother ship... imagine the classic Star Wars front line clash as everyone rushes to their bombers, fighters or tank class fighters and try's to smash through the front lines to begin accomplishing the objectives like taking out turrets, shield generators, engines and so on. Nothing speaks Star Wars to me more than that one bomber guy breaking through the lines and maneuvering his way to the big hit as fighters all around him protect him from the apposing team... then he makes that final blow once all the shield generators are down.
As for the vehical themselves... they wouldn't be another individual ship you have to spec yourself but maybe something a guild could spec as a whole like shield boost to all fighters, or stronger turrets on the mother ship.
as for the probable lag issues... it takes like a little more than a minute (for me at least) to log into a server so i dont see why bioware could create specific servers just for these epic battles cuz im talking 30-40 on each side here. (repub wait times would be non-existant, while the vast numbers of imps would wait forever, take that lol) get it big eoungh and we could be looking at multiple guilds on each side O_O!
i have a lot more bouncing around in my head as far as details but lets just open this up... lets get crazy responses here because im positive this kinda game play would launch this game into another level.
