  1. When we got to SOA on hard mode (assuming the pylon boss didn't bug 5 times in a row), some of the lightning balls were invisible. The lack of target of target frame is ridiculous. I know there is a command for it, but I have no idea why this feature was left out. Would make Karagga much more pleasant. As is, I'm done with raiding in this game. I don't have the patience anymore. Once I'm bored leveling alts and pvp, I'm done with this game.
  2. Leveling 10/10. Incredible value and fun for the price. PVP - I enjoy warzone type pvp, so 8/10 for me. I usually dont enjoy pvp, but I'm having fun in Star Wars pvp. End game pve. 2/10. Bugs and the UI ruin raiding for me. No target of target, lack of combat log, and not being able to beat the stupid puzzle boss in Eternity Vault because it bugs out is infuriating. Karagga on hard mode while I'm sure is doable, isn't very pleasant without target of target. We could do it, but why bother doing something that makes you pissed off because developers forgot to add something so basic to their UI that every other MMO has? I wasn't concerned about the UI while leveling, but trying to actually do somewhat challenging content, the lack of basic UI features makes me not want to raid. Bioware should be kicking themselves for not focusing on this for all the money they spent.
  3. Maybe in lower brackets solo kill is reliable, but I find it almost impossible to get a solo kill on my 50 healer. It takes too long so someone, ally or foe, invariably joins the fight.
  4. 300k healing and 75k damage is practically mutually exclusive unless you are fighting against an evenlt matched team so the games draw out for a long time. If you're dominating, no one needs healing. If you are being dominated, you get killed over and over again. Any spec besides healing can accrue a bunch of medals in a short time frame. Healers need long matches to get more than 5 medals. Furthermore without protection, 300k healing is unrealistic. It's too easy for someone to target you and bring you down. the other option is to sprint away (sorc) but then you aren't healing anymore. I get over 300k a lot, but I can't rely on it. It's more rewarding to try and get the 10 kills, killing blow, and 75k damage medals than 300k. And people don't always reward healers with mvp. The problem is mainly tanks who can earn protection medals passively while being able to earn the dps medals far more easily than healers. Healers pick heal or dps. Tanks don't have to make that choice. If healing people counted toward kills, then the medal system would be balanced. That should give healers much easier access to two more medals.
  5. It's not that OP. It's what follows that hurts. When I'm getting tracer missiled, I just los. Sorcs and snipers can do a lot of damage from range too....
  6. Why do people care that much if people leave? I leave when we are getting dominated. I don't mind losing, but I like matches to be evenly matched in order to be fun. You'll still get your valor if people lose. Putting a deserter debuff will just make people more frustrated with pvp, any hardly gives any benefit. Staying in match where you're getting destroyed is pointless and not enjoyable.
  7. Also, when I heal I get maybe 1, perhaps 2 mvp votes. It really infuriates me in huttball, when I pull people to the goal and output a bunch of healing only to get a measly 1 vote and 4-5 medals. It's not worth it. I do about 200k healing on average per match and spend the rest of the time dpsing because on average I get more valor. Depending on votes is unreliable because people vote for their friends, understandably.
  8. Your idea is horrible. It would give zero incentive for people to stay in a losing match. This isn't some hardcore mmo, zero sum gains game. The losing side should get something, albeit not as much, for losing.
  9. It's a little op because it's one global cooldown and prevents you from capping for the dot duration. Cleanse could work, but you have to have the right class near you to remove it. I think it's a reasonable suggestion. Removing dots on death, however, is not reasonable. The disadvantage of dots is that it isn't damage up front. Just cause you killed someone doesn't give you the right to ignore the damage he dealt to you, even if it is in the form of a dot.
  10. The sorc set is the worst abomination of raiding set I have ever seen. I'm not one to complain much about armor, but the sorc raiding set is extremely ugly and whoever designed it has zero taste or skill in producing quality looking armor. I have never felt this way about any armor set before, so this is really saying something. It's just awful. I wish I could wear the chest and legs from black talon and keep my set bonuses. How can a level 12 item look so much cooler than a level 50 raid epic. fail.
  11. You know, the most number of medals I have ever gotten in a match is 7 because I'm heal specced? I could maybe get more if I stopped healing at 75 in a long match. Just shut up. Tanks rack up medals the easiest of any spec.
  12. lol, I'm heal specced and my damage is garbage. Maybe hybrid specs have good healing and damage. I pvp in a pve spec and my damage is pathetic, which is fine. And I thought we were talking about pvp. I've seen all specs heal just fine in pvp. I love my heal specced sorc and I wager we probably are the strongest pve healer, but I've heard good things about merc. I just haven't raided with a merc healer to see for myself.
  13. No I mean assassin. Juggs can seem stupidly op, but it seems like they are countered a bit more easily than assassin. Anyway, they are the two best ball carriers that's for sure.
  14. I don't know why people keep think sorcs are the best pvp class. They aren't. They are a strong class, but they aren't invincible and can be countered. From what I've seen Assassin tanks are the most powerful class in huttball.
  15. The problem with arena is that community will begin demanding balance changes that will affect pve. Overtime, this process hurt wow, and now blizzard has all but jettisoned their talent tree (horrible change imo). You see demand for balance changes from warzones, but battleground type pvp is much less about what class trumps who, but is far more tactical and teamwork oriented. In arenas, you will see RMP cookie cutter groups, while other specs will feel underpowered. I can't really imagine a sniper who has to be in cover to use his abilities to be that great in an arena where mobility is king. In battlegrounds, being a stationary turret is viable because there is much more going on and you can sit back while attention is focused elsewhere. I say no to arena only because it will force developers to make balance changes that will ultimately leave everyone feeling sour about pvp.
