  1. An example, at 8pm the server sees how many are logged in as imperials vs republic. Based on the % difference, the buff applies for that hour. It’s a system that used to be on Planetside 1, although I am not suggesting this applies to pvp.
  2. I have been working through my chars, bit by bit over the last few months, taking a break between etc and only recently started to look at the actual multiplayer side of things. Darth Malgus is very Imperial sided. The current event for example is real telling sign of this, with almost no republic groups but plenty, and I mean lots, of imperial players. Now this isn’t so much an issue for me as I started as an Imp, but as part of my long slog for Legendary status, I have of course ran Republic chars and I imagine there are people who really would prefer that side, but don’t see the point sticking to them when there’s huge waits for group events, struggling to find groups etc. As such, my suggestions to encourage balance is as follows - based on current, live players at the time (these change depending on populations in that hour). For the faction under strength. Buffs scaling to fit how much under strength The faction is (greater the difference, greater the benefit) XP boost Credits boost Greater % drop rate Stat boosts whilst playing (eg, make understrength factions easier to play) - not including PvP Greater reputation gain Etc You get the idea. The more understrength the faction, the bigger the buff that underpowered faction gets. That will hopefully encourage more to play it, retaining players who want to only play that faction.
  3. True, but it doesn’t turn down during cutscenes unfortunately. I find myself hitting my play / pause keyboard bind a lot but ideally would be part of the game
  4. My suggestion is to allow us to add mp3s to a folder which play as we play the game instead of the in games music. Also for said music to stop during cutscenes
  5. Not a troll post, but a genuine query, We all know that parses don’t reflect the true state of affairs, so I am wondering as to what people think from their own experiences are the most overpowered and underpowered classes. I don’t mean to the sense of game breaking, more along the lines of what you think is top tier and bottom tier.
  6. Same here. Been going on at least a week now.
  7. Same. Reported several times but they don’t seem to acknowledge any issue.
  8. A week on, still seeing constant disconnects as well as a number of other bug reports saying the same without any acknowledgement.
  9. Straightforward suggestion, extend the range of speeds available for speeders. We know that the engine is capable of handling higher speeds from the travel points, so my suggestion is a purchasable unlock which lets you achiever higher speeds.
  10. I’m not seeing a great amount of info about the companions you can buy from the Cartel Market. In short, how do they work? Do they get added to your pool of companions the same as the rest? Do you have a limit of companions you can have (obviously one 1 summoned) Do they hang around your ship like the rest? Do they have any interactions like the rest? Can they do crafting / Gathering? Are they any good? Do they have classes? Eg is there a medic type? I’m thinking about getting one mainly for additional crafting and gathering capacity but also because I’m not too keen on my current storyline ones.
  11. Same here. Darth Malgus. Been going on for days. Checked my internet connection and it’s constant, stable and strong. Definitely the server
  12. And still happening today. Hard to justify paying a subscription for a game you can only play 30 second at a time
  13. My internet is fine, everything else works fine but SWTOR just seems to want to keep dropping server connection for extended periods of time. Anyone else having this issue? Webpage keeps saying server is up.
  14. Hello all, I have had a search but everything I have found has seemed to be riddled with Jargon or come with an experienced knowledge of the game. I'll keep the questions quick and short To add context, my character is Level 75 but I boosted it to 70 with a Master's Holocron. 1. Legacy has boosts for various types of XP and also Renown. Given that my XP bar is all for Renown - do those Legacy XP boosts work on that as well or is it the legacy Renown boost only which applies? 2. The equipment I was given with the boost lost it's set bonus at level 75. Do all set bonuses switch off at 75? (Eg, should I bother looking for set bonus') 3. How does scaling work when you are a higher level than your gear - but that gear is still higher than your scaled level? Eg: If scaled to Level 10, does a Level 75 character with Level 70 gear have the same scaled stats and damage as if they had Level 75 gear on? (Assuming all mods are the same type, just a lower level) Help much appreciated.
