  1. I hated it, worst Star Wars movie I have seen. It pissed all over Luke as a character and the amount of glaring plot holes is staggering. All the cool theories people had amounted to nothing but bull crap and the mysteries that crept up having us all excited for over 2 years amounted to nothing. I absolutely despise this movie as it has soured Star Wars as a whole for me. Something I have loved for over 20 years....
  2. I could not care less about the EU, but I cared about all the movies that came before. The Force Awakens is pretty much ruined by this movie. It pisses on all the mysteries it started with anti-climactic drivel. I can't believe people can't see all the glaring plot holes that TLJ brings to the table. Why did Luke make a map if he did not want anyone to find him? How did Maz get his old lightsaber? Who is Snoke? and why is he so powerful, but yet so weak that he does not notice that Kylo Ren betrays him? And if Kylo Ren is so powerful, why did he have such problems fighting those guards? Why did he not just use force choke or something on them? What happened to the Knights of Ren and the whole backstory? So Rey is not a Skywalker, then why is she so much more powerful even without any training? Luke and Anakin required long periods of training to get to where they was? Why did not Leia or Holdo just reveal their plan to Poe? If one can just use a ship to go into lightspeed and crash into something to cause such destruction. Why did they not use that against the Death Star or anything really? Poe, Finn and Rose acomplish one major thing in this movie. And that is kill a lot more resistance members by bringing along a code cracker that betrays them and they don't accomplish anything else. What was really the point of their story arc? If Luke died by doing his projection thing, why could he not just have come and face Kylo Ren anyways? The First Order chased the Resistance members outside of lightspeed for the entire movie, but why did they not just send some Star Destroyers ahead via lightspeed to cut them off? And there are many more. Don't hide behind the excuse that everyone who did not like this movie has to have some other pre-conception of what they wanted the movie to be. Everyone has some expectations, and I hoped this would have some surprises but I at least expected the movie to make sense. I hated this movie because they tarnished a well established character and they pissed all over the story that they started in TFA. The movie is all over the place with almost half of it a story leading to nothing (Finn and Rose) and it has major plot holes that not just ruins the movie but tarnishes previous ones and the lore as a whole.
  3. Please don't let anything from that horrible movie taint this game.
  4. I have loved every Star Wars movie so far, but this movie was truly terrible. It ruined Luke, it ruined the story they began in Force Awakens, it is filled with so many glaring plot holes that I can't believe that people actually enjoyed this drivel of a movie. To each their own I guess. I really have no reason to watch episode 9 now as I have no interest in the remaining characters as they are not interesting anymore. I have never been so devastated by a movie before. I think I have lost some of my interest for Star Wars all together because of this movie. Heck I recently subscribed to SWTOR because I thought I would get a big feel for playing something Star Wars again. But now I don't really want to.
  5. I have loved all the Star Wars movies, but this is by far the worst movie of them all. Not only that, but it completely ruins The Force Awakens and Luke as a character. All the stories they began in The Force Awakens amounts to nothing and there are so many glaring plot holes and idiotic additions that I have no interest in future episodes. When it comes to movies, this is perhaps the biggest disappointment for me in my life.
  6. Well we can all now stop theorizing as the character eventually turned into a pointless nobody it seems. Man The Last Jedi was a terrible movie.
  7. 1) Episode 5: The Empire Strikes Back This one is kinda tied with the second place for me. Darth Vader is my favorite character and this movie shows his personality at its best. His dialogue with Luke and the whole story is just good from the beginning to end. 2) Rogue One A Star Wars Story I never thought that I would love a Star Wars movie this much that has no Jedi in it. But Rogue One is a trill ride from the start to end. I loved the new characters and I loved the story. And i found the ending to be bold and very strong. The addition of Tarkin was amazing to me and I am not going to shy away from the fact that the added Vader scenes, and Leia at the end pushed this movie up this high for me. Call it fanservice or whatever you want. But this movie gave me chills like no other movie has done. And this has the best space battle in the whole franchise. 3) Episode 3 The Revenge of the Sith Every scene with the Emperor in this movie is amazing, the action is great, the music is spectacular and I don't care what anyone thinks, I loved Anakin in this one. And it has my favorite moment in the whole franchise, the scene when they put the mask on Anakin for the first time. That moment when he takes his first breath as Vader always gives me chills. 4) Episode 6 The Return of the Jedi Yes the Ewoks may be silly and brings it down on the list, but the scenes with Jabba, the epic space battles, the fun forest fight and the awesome climactic end of Lukes journey makes this movie an awesome experience. The speeder bike scenes has not aged well though and I usually roll my eyes a bit when it comes on. 5) Episode 1 The Phantom Menace Yes, I do like this movie. It has Jar Jar and I don't care. He is supposed to be annoying, heck Qui Gon uses a mind trick on him just to shut him up. I like Jar Jars arc in this movie as he is the fool, the hated one that somehow manages to become a hero and saves the day. The pod race scene is also really awesome and absolutely love the end fight against Darth Maul. The music is also spectacular. 6) Episode 2: The Attack of the Clones I know a lot of people hate this movie, but I love the mystery and the sort of detective story with Obi Wan in this one. I don't mind the overly formal and stiff ways that Anakin and Padme acts in this movie. For me it makes sense as they grow up in roles that requires a very formal way of life. So to me it has never really bothered me. And I don't care what anyone says, when Anakin gets angry, he sells it. The action on kamino and geonosis are also really cool. Seeing so many Jedis at once was amazing the first time I saw it and it is still a great moment to me. And the Yoda fight is still pretty awesome to me, though I wish it was a lot longer. And it has my favorite Star Wars melody which is Across the Stars. 7) Episode 1 A New Hope. Before you go crazy on me calling me an idiot for putting the original movie so far down. Just know that I love these movies almost at the same level. But this movie is old and some parts of it I find corny. The lightsaber fight between Obi Wan and Darth Vader is just lame. And the ending is just weird, having a medal ceremony feels so out of place. That being said, it does have some of the most iconic Star Wars moments ever and I do love it. 8) Episode 7 The Force Awakens. I accepted that this movie is sort of a case where history repeats itself. And I would have been fine with it as the story of the Skywalker family is a story of prophecies and destiny. So having Rey be a Skywalker who is a strong force user, natural pilot and the one that Anakin Lightsaber is calling too, would make sense. Having Han Solo be the Obi-Wan type character and Kylo Ren a twist on the Darth Vader character made for a compelling but predictable story. It had some great action scenes, it was funny, but not forced. And Han Solo was pretty much perfect.... But I can't watch this movie anymore, it is ruined for me. And that is because of my next spot. 9) Episode 8 The Last Jedi. This movie has not just pissed me off something fierce, it stomped on one of my favorite characters and has ruined future Star Wars stories for me. It completely ruined Luke for me, making him do things that does not remotely fit his character. And somehow has not learned much as Yoda still has to teach him the ways of the Force. And the puppet for Yoda looked terrible. And Luke says he does not want anyone to find him, but then why did he leave a map for people to find him?! His end scene could have been epic but it turned into a joke, and somehow he dies in the dumbest way ever. By heart attack or something like that... The movie is ridiculous with some of the dumbest plot points I have ever seen. Most of the movie is The First Order chasing after the remaining Resistance fighters because they can't go into lightspeed more than one time. But none of the First Order leaders thinks to just send someone ahead with lightspeed to cut them off. Are you kidding me?! They have a huge part of the movie be about Finn, Poe and a terrible new character called Rose go on a completely pointless journey that results in more deaths for the resistance. Seriously, had they not done anything it would all turn out fine. The whole mystery surrounding Snoke leads to nothing as he is first shown being really powerfull, but somehow gets tricked by Kylo Ren who easily kills him. Then a fairly cool fight breaks out, but why is not Kylo Ren using the force against them? Rey is also not a Skywalker but a nobody apparently. But somehow she is super powerful even without having any form of training. Heck Anakin and Luke required lots of training even with their natural connection to the force. And a lot of these things ruins Episode 7 for me. As these plot points ultimately leads to nothing. And Episode 7 would have been a lot higher on my list if not for this as it is now an unwatchable movie for me. There are so many glaring plot holes and dumb additions that just sours the whole franchise. For instance, if a ship in lightspeed can do that much damage. Then why did no one use that trick before against the Death Star? Yes the movie had some awesome visuals, but that is it. This movie has effectively ruined Luke for me, it has ruined the story for me and I care nothing about episode 9 now as I don't like the remaining characters anymore. I could say a lot more about this, but this post is already way too long.
  8. The problem I have with the cartel market is that there is barely any gear that looks good that does not come from the Cartel Market. It is like they are reserving all the good looking stuff for the Cartel Market and pushing the leftover designs onto the game itself. And pretty much anytime I find something I want to go after, something I want to obtain such as some furniture for my Stronghold. It is unobtainable because of course it is from the bloody Cartel Market and some annoying pack that was sold years ago.
  9. First of all remove RNG end game gearing, what a truly horrid idea that is. Second I would like even more story stuff and solo stuff, I do love the way their focus has turned more towards story and I want even more of it. I wish that all flashpoints was solo able and even Operations would be great if they was solo able. Add some nice rewards to them too. And before people go ahead and flame me on this. I am playing on what is practically a dead server, and no way I am transferring all of my characters to another one with prices like they are. Thirdl I wish they stopped with timed exclusive crap like what they did with HK-55, I missed that and the chapter entry in my chapter list is taunting me. Makes me so angry how they lock story stuff behind timed exclusive stuff. And the last thing I wish they did was expand on the stronghold system, add a lot more furniture to be bought for credits. Everything is so insanely dependent on the Cartel Market and it just makes me sad. Such a fun addition to the game is so hard to enjoy when everything is pretty much unobtainable. I am not so dumb to spend over 1000 CC on freaking furniture. And most of the stuff is not attainable anymore as the cartel packs are not sold anymore and since the server is so barren, very few items are put on sale. Most of the stuff is just swindlers who is selling stuff from vendors for ridiculous prices.
  10. I hate this new change with a passion. Now I can't tank anymore as vigilance, and that is how I have been playing this game as solo for a long time...
  11. So I recently returned to SWTOR since I heard about the upcoming expansion and all the chapters for KotFE is out and I can play through the whole story. And I am really pleased with the expansion so far. I love the focus on story and that there is a lot of stuff that I can do solo. I really want at least one MMO that is more like a single player game with the possibility of playing with others from time to time. As way too many MMOs always focus on raids and stuff like that. And I have very little interest in that kind of content, and I dislike it as they often lock important story stuff behind it. So for me this new approach they are doing for SWTOR is great and I might actually stay subbed longer now if they give me a lot of stuff I can do alone. That being said, I am sorry for all the other people who played this game for the Ops and such. Now you know how I feel when so many of the previous expansions and additions to the game and other games have been mostly focused on end game raiding and the like. SWTOR probably don't generate enough money for them to focus on both so they choose what they think is best and what most people play the game for now.
  12. A) I am all for fixes. B) No, nope, never ever let the companion system go back to the horribly restrictive system it was before. When leveling characters, having this option to actually pick exactly the companion I can use is the best thing that came with 4.0 besides the outfitter and that companions don't use gear. I hate having to use the original healer companions on mostly everything as they are often the most boring follower. With this system I can use exactly the companion I want, and some companions are still better than others on certain roles. But at least everyone can do each role. Wish it had been like that from the beginning as that would have made my leveling experience way more enjoyable back then. C) Completely agree with this. E) The level-sync is fine but it should not be forced on you. You should be able to chose if you want to be scaled down. Perhaps not on PvP instances though. I do hate that you can't go back and solo older types of content. I will never be able to play any of these raids as they are never soloable, and I just don't do raids in MMOs anymore, way to stressful. F) I agree.
  13. The promotion was pretty terrible to being with. Sure you can get that companion early, when it does not even makes sense to have him. You get him later on in the story anyways. The duster we got was a lazy re-texture showing us that Bioware really don't care for their loyal subscribers and only the cartel store which is the only place they seem to make any effort at all into armor models (And even those are at times broken piece of trash with lots of bugs). The only good thing to come from the promotion was Nico Okarr's blaster pistols which are fine. But other than that the promotion for KotFE is the worst one yet.
  14. But there are a lot of cool looking weapons that drops that are not moddable and since weapons is not a part of the outfit designer system, this makes pretty much all weapons you get useless, as I would never drop looks over stats.
  15. Would love it if all those armors was just avaible directly instead of this horrible pack system. I bet I would have spent more money on cartel coins that way. I refuse to take part in this horrible gambling stuff. And some things are so redicilously overpriced on the GTN it just makes the whole thing sad and frustrating.
