  1. It appears that the Scavanging missions for crafting components are giving out materials for the rank of the mission instead of just giving the materials it says it will yield now. I'm not sure if the best thing to do would be to fix the missions to that they give out the reward that they say in the mission description, or if they need to fix the description and then add Thermoplast missions to the tier 6 scavenging mission list. For consistency, I personally think they should add new missions and change the descriptions for the Tier 5 missions to say they'll yield Brazing flux. I'd also like to see them add in More missions to tier 7 and 8. Right now you can only run "Moderate Yield" missions for those tiers, and I'd like to see them add in Bountiful and/or Rich missions as well as they tend to be more cost effective.
  2. He's not talking about what goes in the Augment slot from a critted (or Aug Slot Kit added) item. He's talking about the 3rd normal slot on an item(The one that ususlay has +END and +Power). Cyber makes the the items for the other 2 Slots.
  3. I looked at that site and when I searched for the word "Orange" I see the cyrstals listed. And if I click on the link to one of the cyrstals I see what materials are needed for the recepie, but I don't see where it says you get the recepie from. It just says "Sources - Crafted artifice" or where to get them "Ripped" from. Does the schematic come from the Artifice Trainer? (Sorry at work so can't log in and check it out, and I'll probably forget about it by the time I get home). Or is it a Treasure Hunting "rare" schematic.
  4. There's a simple way to avoid "gaming" the sytem... just make it check and make sure you're REing the same item. If you switch to a different item the "Counter" resets back to 0.
  5. Nice timing. Last boss 1/2 way down in Foundry. Finally found a group that didn't wipe 4-5 times on HK-47 too.
  6. Is there an actual dev quote to that though? I know that the general consensous is that it does increase crit rate (and I believe it myself), but every once in a blue moon someone makes the statement that Affection only decreases crafting time.
  7. That sounds reasonable, but if he's talking about the same thing I'm thinking of... those locks have been on Mods long before 1.2 came along. I remember seeing them on mods as far back as early access. The "You can only move Glove Armorings to other Gloves" was introduced in 1.2 for End Game equipment Edit: http://cdn-www.swtor.com/sites/all/files/en/framework/gamemanual/workBench.jpg I'm thinking he means the "pad locks" next to the names of the slots
  8. This is as borked up as Underworld trading grade 2 metal missions. At the risk of sounding nasty, whoever approved this change on the developement team need to go back to remidial develepment school. You never make changes that affect balance based soley on lore reasons. These changes should have been back-burnered until they had time to add in enough missions to the diplomacy mission spread so that there are an even amount of mission types (Medical supplies, Comp Gifts) for each tier (Mod, Abun, Bountiful, Rich) on each faction. The worst part about this is that the exact same type of issue has constantly been reported since Beta about Underworld Trading metals missions and it's still hasn't even been ackowledged as an issue, so there's little reason to exepect the diplomacy missions to be changed any time soon, if at all. I HATE sounding all "Doom and Gloom" but this is even more frustrating then the UT issue. The UT issue was just a bad desicion from the begining. But I could at least give them a "pass" by using the rationalization that "Well they might not have development time to get the issue fixed." The Diplomacy missions worked fine except for the flavor text attached to the missions. Development time was actualy spent to make the mission line worse.
  9. I've looked at the picture... I'm not understanding what's wrong with it.
  10. Thank you! Ok THIS explains what I've been seeing! I've done almost exclusively Moderate and Abundant missions. For almost every mission, I'd get a lockbox with more (not always a lot, but at least some profit) credits in it then the mission cost to run, UNELSS I've critted. At first I tought it was because they reduced the amount given on a crit because they expected you to make it up from selling off the schematic/Mission discovery, but Green Lockboxes being bugged makes much more sense. Here's my logs since 2.1:
  11. Increased cooldown of Backstab by 3 seconds. Reduced damage of backstab by 25% This should result in an overall damage increse of backstab.
  12. I understand what you're saying... but you still should have given Commandos and Mercenaries the free resepec. I actually sent in a /bug report for it last night because my Mercenary was the last charactaer I logged into last night (I was doing aoo my Imps) and he was literaly the only one that didn't get a resepc so I thought it was a bug. Seriously, there's a reason people hate "Rules Lawers" in RPGs. There needs to be a human element involved in any sweeping decisions like this. SOMEONE should have taken a step back when we got close to the go live date and said "Wait a second, EVERY other class in the game is getting the free resepc except for the Merc/Commando" and then decided in this instance to go ahead and include them in on it. Serioulsy, you can come in here and hide behind "we have a hard set rule you can only do this if the talent tree structure changes" and then finish up with your witty little remark about "standard-issue troll resistance", but you're making yourself look like that same smart *** from your DnD campaign that says "But it says right on page 42 of the reviesed warriors supplemental guide that you have to let me do that". This kind of small callous (in?)decision just gives credibitly to the people that say "Oh no, big Business EA is ruining Bioware" when you make uncomprimising absolutes like this. And for the record, the respec itself isn't a big deal for me. My Merc is still speced fine, and for my Commanod, I think he's logged off at the fleet (I'll play my Reps tonight). I'll just run over and use my free respec so he's Full Grav and not split a Hybrid Heal/Grav.
  13. Underworld trading for Armormech and Synthweaving Tresure Hunting for Artifice Investigation for Armstech
  14. It will always be 20% on each individual try... but the odds of you doing an event that has a 20% chance of being trigged and not being triggered is also a mesuerable percentage. That percentage will never reach 100%, but you can get over 99% (IE: 99.99999%)
