Unfortunately, with a laptop, there isn't much option for you. If your laptop has shared video memory, Increasing the RAM will in most cases allow the video card to use more memory. Do you know what video card your laptop has? Mine has and Intel HD, which is the lowest requirement for the game. While the game is playable, it is FAR from ideal. I normally don't play on my laptop, but it is nice to be able to when I want to. I just upgraded from 3GB ram to 6GB ram, and saw some improvement.

I am not positive, as I have never used one of these devices, but I don't think it is going to work. The data transfer rate of USB will be too slow to send the needed information to the external video card, these devices are not designed for 3d environments. Like I said, I am not positive about this, and since you already ordered it, it is worth a shot. I wish you luck

The is a setting in preferences that allows you to adjust how much time the game will allow you to cache an ability. I believe the default is set to 1 sec. I found this to be clumsy if you are of the type who spams buttons. I set it 0 sec, meaning pressing a button while another ability "casting" will do nothing, much happier now.

I would assume any "tricks" to avoid afk logout would raise the attention of BW and possibly get you banned, but with you attitude towards others that also want play, I vote you try it out.
