  1. June announced the expansion. Five months have lapsed since the announcement. Something that a large number of people and the Folks at Ea/Devs are missing is one very basic fact. Do you really think you gave us an expansion worthy of a monthly subscription of 5 months or $75 People are not just unsubbing because you screwed the pooch on a patch, its much more then that. Many think we got ripped off what the 6 hours of storyline, and a recycled heroic quest line that's been around since launch, excepting Makeb. You suckered us and we have had enough, pretty simple

Level 65 Sorc Madness mostly 216 with 5 220 pieces We raised our Health pools approximately 38% at 65 in 216/220 gear to just over 80k ish After Nerf Senya inf 10 Ameliorating Force = 3433, Senya inf 50 Ameliorating Force = 4345 an increase of 19% So in fact they really were not Op, what they were was pre-geared to be compatible with someone in 216/220 gear. What the Nerf did was put them more inline for someone in all basic gear of 208. Companions were improperly coded for prioritizing their skill uses, 35-40% of healing done was overhealing and not required at all. Hell just standing there they spammed heals with no Mob interaction at all and just standing at fleet What should have been done is fixing the companions to perform properly before anything else, for example Lana Inf 36 - Force Bonus Healing 2364 Soothe 3253-4716 Mending 5871 over 9 sec Enlivening Force 4026 Veeroa Denz Inf 50 - Force Healing Bonus 2126 Soothe 3026-4490 Mending 5538 over 9 sec Enlivening Force 3797 A level 36 inf should not out perform a level 50 inf Even further look at Treek level 60 10 inf Fektur Sleesh 3400-6323 Fektur Sling 5425 add 4231 over channel Fektur Dart 6325 over 12 sec Fektur Bug 4093-7386 A level level 60 10 inf should not out perform level 65 companions Why were companions not fixed first before a knee jerk reaction of they need a nerf was performed?

Now Nerfing companions as done to be inline with the 208 gear ok, but what was not done is provide any scaling ability to match the skills of the character they are matched with

  5. Well the title of the post says what we should be telling Bioware. Do WE REALLY need to tell them that if our characters increased their HP from level 60 to 65 by 38% in 216/220 gear, that if companions effective stats only increased 12% from 60 to 65 that there is going to be a problem? if so um yeah.....
  6. It was announced on June 15th of this year that they were proposing the expansion. Not sure how far they were into the development at the time of the announcement, but lets say 2 months. I think that's reasonable so they had a foothold on how long productions would take prior to announcement. I am sure it was longer but lets just let it go at that. During that time Developers logged in everyday and current Testers, obviously no one complained about the companions being OP during the 4 months of development. 1 month after live Complaints from a minority few, yes a minority few. Nerf bat goes around and global reduction on everything. Now if you ask me it was done intentionally by Bioware employee's as a maneuvering ploy. Draw attention away from all the other bugs posted that they don't have the resources to commit on fixing. Look in the Forums on Bug reports on items still not fixed. I mean according to the timeline they only worked on this for 6 months ish. It was all a marketing ploy, if you are a subscriber get x items and expansion free, boy did they suck some of us in on that one, myself included. The companions weren't op, we were using them on OLD HEROICS, almost all of which came out when game was released. Makeb obviously after the fact, but for the most part all these heroics have been in place since start. I know I used to do them regularly. My Idea of an expansion wasn't 6 hours of storyline, Then to go back to all the Old planets and rehash Old heroics most we did in the first 6 months since live and Early access. However, you are now starting to do what Blizzard did with WOW, reusing old material, that's a very bad sign. Now don't get me wrong, I was a great fan for the release of this game period. I signed up for closed beta over a year before open beta went out. Reserved a couple Character names ect. Now I am going to unsub but I am kind of stuck, after years of playing if I unsub I loose 100's of millions of credits I acquired over the years. Very very disappointed
  7. All BS, the bioware programmers sure didn't think they were op when they were using them daily in game development. Now after how many months of development and 1 month live? Even more funny is that people think they are to OP on Planetary Heroics that have been here for years, they aren't new just recycled. Hell that's why they did a level adjustment when we go to different planets for them, save the time for programming new content heroics on a new world, recycle old stuff, same crap WOW started doing Another founder down the tubes

You just know how well that 12% increase from 60-65 on avg of treeks skills is going to do don't we. Before the Raise Influence bandwagon is brought up Look at Lana and Veeroa Denz same skills on level 65 Sorc. I did not wait from last May to release for 6 hours of a storyline and 1 New Dungeon that's recycled 6 different times, for this junk. I think the whole reason for the nerf, was to divert everyones attention from all the other stuff not fixed, lets toss this in get everyone off our back, that will shut them up a while on the other stuff not fixed So eventually you do plan on having companions that have skills on your tour? um yeah........... Already reduced my max Credits under the preferred limit.

  10. So let me get this right. Game in development for how many months with companions as is, no complaints. Released, and a small sample of maybe a 50ish tops posting on forums are an indication of what the thousands of others that play the game want. FYI many people don't post on forums, one would think this would be indicated via the number of subscriptions vs the number of actual forum posters. Talk about a classic knee jerk reaction to what amounted to an afternoons worth of storyline. Yet we haven't seen any level 65 content to use companions with other then Star Fortress. I can see it coming now, January rolls around, New Storyline Chapter releases, people start whining cant kill crap. The companions were nerfed based on performance of them against old planet heroics that have been around for years that were turned into weekly's. I sure am happy I lowered my credits below the max for preferred.
  11. Started end of last week, I got them on 2 characters earlier in the week but not a third over the weekend. Didn't worry about it to much then because I only had 480 more weekly rep. I did not receive them via mail as a lost item either. This week, No rep tokens so far at all in inventory, and same no mail as a lost item recovered either

Right but an Influence 34 should not be more then an influence 41 Both Lana and Veerona have the same base stats when you look at there stats in the companion window What changes is my Presence Buff, with Lana is 2878, with Veerona 3228 So the influence is registering, but at any event Veerona's skills are lower no matter what stance she is in, dps, heals or tank, should still be higher at 7 levels more Veerona does have more HP though, but ability skills are lower

I was under the impression that all companions across the board were to be equal class vs class skill I Have Lana Beniko with 34 inf and she does a soothe heal for 11993 Veerona Denz with 41 inf and does same soothe for 10925 Now I just got Veerona, and just hit 100 kills with her doing some quests today, does that have any effectiveness in anyway at all?
