  1. That's a great idea! Walls, tables, anything that you logically should be able to place or hang things on.
  2. Having physical rather than holographic companions in our strongholds would be amazing, even if we had to sink a few credits or cartel coins into it. So would the ability to set simple poses (sitting, meditating, maybe a wall lean or resting a hip on a table, lying down, etc) for our personnel and companion decorations. I've mentioned this elsewhere on the forums, but I'd also love to see the ability to put our characters in our strongholds as decorations, either holographic or physical. They could put a "make yourself a decoration" booth on the fleets and charge credits, cartel coins, or even a variety of other in-game currencies. (Not as in you have to have X, Y, and Z, but as in you can use X, Y, or Z.)
  3. Those all sound like good ideas. I'd like to see any decorations that are currently a single sex and species given more options for variety. And it would be nice to have our companions be sold (non-holographic) decorations, even if that was an option you had to buy. (This is a pie in the sky idea, but it would also be really fun if we could have our characters as decorations, with either holographic or solid options. I can't be the only person who'd happily sink credits or cartel coins into that.) Simple holotargets would be awesome. Non-factional training equipment in general would be cool. (I know there's some Mandalorian themed, but why stop there?) More decorations for making a space seem like a home: a bed that looks slept in, something like an overstuffed chair, maybe a chair or other piece of furniture with clothing draped over it... those little messy touches that make it look lived in.
  4. Devs really need to acknowledge this. I can't be the only one holding off on adding a 2nd combat style to any characters because I don't want to be hit with the bug. So there's a whole feature of 7.0 that I'm not even touching, because it's not only potentially broken, but there seems to be no acknowledgement that the bug exists, despite multiple posts describing it.
  5. The contrast between the really bright blue of the lines on the new inventory boxes and the black background (as opposed to the old less bright blue with a patterned background) hurts my eyes if I look at my inventory for very long. Having the character creator be bright white with a black background isn't as bad, but I can still feel the eyestrain from it. I'm pretty sure there's a sweet spot for text/image vs background contrast, if you want to avoid eyestrain. You don't want extremely high contrast, like they currently have, or extremely low contrast. They could probably fix a lot of it by reverting to the old blue (and making the character creator more of a light gray than bright white), and putting some form of background pattern in the empty boxes again. (I also suspect the font issues on text in the game is related to them removing the darker outlines from the text. Not sure why they did that.)
  6. It's more than that. I checked, and my small guild also has that perk on, and Section X netted me (I just ran it, this time on a non-stealth character, in case that was the difference) 56,971 points. And 24k of that was advancing reputation! Either you have some other perk running from somewhere, or people are getting different amounts of conquest points from the same content for some inexplicable reason. (Maybe your reputation bonus made the difference? ???)
  7. How are you getting 100k+ doing Section X? I got 50,259 points from it when I did it Friday. And, yes, I did all of the missions, including the Area. And I'm pretty sure I did all of the bonus missions, as well.
  8. Yeah, seriously, please give us some control over the brightness of the new interface. The inventory is probably the worst, but the character creation screens are also really high contrast. Perhaps tone it down a smidge?
  9. I assume there was a reason behind this, and that that reason wasn't to reduce the number of people who run flashpoints. However, it's removed the only reason I ever ran flashpoints. Have they added new gear? Is it only available outside of solo mode? ???
  10. Right now, I'm scratching my head over why it appears that only characters who were 50 (and/or had completed their class stories) when this launched had their achievements count. That must surely be a bug, but at present, it just looks bizarre. Though I haven't tested whether the achievements suddenly show up if one finishes something else on the affected characters. I've been kind of busy and haven't had much chance to play. Has anyone else noticed? Edit: Never mind. Test first, post second. It appears that the game notices what you've done as you log into each character. Move along, nothing to see here.
  11. More coats for Smugglers that don't have that silly life-jacket collar. Mine is still wearing the coat from the Esseles, which, granted, I like, but there haven't been very many moddable tops I've liked. I'd really like to see some outfits along the lines of what Lando wore, too. I know there have been some attempts, but they're a bit...odd. (wonky colors or more patchworky than I had in mind) Non-robe outfits for Jedi. Knights at least have the option of wearing Smuggler or Trooper armor, but Consulars are out of luck for the most part. Also, perhaps some appropriate looks for those playing Dark Jedi? More Mandalorian-type looks for Bounty Hunters would be nice. More pants for Agents that don't look padded or as if one is wearing one's (frilly!?) underwear on the outside. Suave secret agents should not be fashion disasters. Non-robe outfits for Sith Inquisitors, also. And Sith outfits that look right for those playing Light Sith. In general, more headgear that doesn't cover the face. I realize it isn't likely for various reasons (PvP for example), but it would be fun if it were actually possible to wear opposite faction looks.
  12. *facepalm* Hopefully what we've got now is a temporary fix and they'll fix the fix. I have a funny feeling they didn't realize they were accidentally faction restricting some items. Whoops.
  13. Why does that leave me with the feeling that they may have broken Diplomacy? Unless those missions being included had caused some weird, unintended skewing of what was available that has now been fixed. *hopes its the latter*
  14. Faction: Republic or Empire Alignment: Light Side or Dark Side There were Diplomacy missions that showed up for the wrong faction, that is, you could be playing an Imperial character and the text of the mission referenced aiding the Republic on the mission. (Or vice versa.) Light Side and Dark Side point granting missions still show up for everyone, just with the correct text. Did that clear up the confusion?
  15. If there were a source - and maybe there is - for what the orange gear was out of various heroics, I suspect people would be more likely to do them. At least, I know I would. I should clarify: an easy source. Something akin to what's out there for flashpoint gear. (Name is escaping me at present "TORloot"?
