This. I want macros to free up my action bar space! I'd like jet charge on 1, and grapple on the same key activated by holding alt or shift or something. We get a lot of abilities and getting to set a few of them to the same key wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.

I find as I'm leveling that I have too many abilities, and not enough comfortable space on my bars. I don't like having to click active abilities that I often use, and I like my quickbars laid out in a certain fashion. Macros would help with this. For instance, I'd like Grapple and Jet Charge to be macro'd to the same button, with alt or shift as a modifier or something. I hope this is in the plan, along with some UI customisation. I'm not saying let's go crazy with addons, but I'd like to be able to fatten health bars or debuff frames, etc. I think for the long term success of the game, BioWare here should put a priority on macros, UI, and getting us a freakin' combat log.
