Anyone notice their gpus working a bit harder after the patch? My temps on my gtx 570 are running about 10 degrees hotter than normal after the patch and the usage is higher. Before the patch i rarely made it over 60 degrees with about 40-60% usage. After, its running close to 70 degrees with 70-90% usage. I cleaned out my system just in case and that didnt do anything.

I have a desktop that i normally play on and was looking to buy a laptop. Just wanted to hear from others with a hard drive at that speed to see how the loading is and what kind of problems i might be facing performance wise with a slower HD like that.

i was just stunned, broke it, stunned again by the same person, and as soon as i became free, the same person stunned me again....it was ridiculous....my team sucked and the other team was basically toying with anyone on my team that actually tried....

This whole situation was handled so very poorly. These are "Transfers", but lets call them what they really are....mergers. Destination server players should not be spared just for being lucky enough to be on that chosen server. The names should have gone to the person who A. Had the name/character created earliest...or B. Logged the most time with said name... Any name belonging to an unsubbed account would be automatically forfeited if a subbed player came to the server. At the very least, everyone would have had a fighting chance. Its absolute BS that I lost all my names through no fault of my own and without any hope of retaining them. I have a backup list of names I created which I will try to get, but will probably fail. So I fully expect to cancel my sub tonight when i get home and fail to get a name other than Ramdonsdfsol. I never experience the NGE, but now I have a little taste of how people felt.

I totally feel you and did everything you did. I was there on day 1 of EGA, one of the first people in the game, just to get my names. My names are everything to me in an MMO. I knew there was no way in hell I had a chance to keep them if I had to leave my server. I havent logged in the game in a few weeks and was holding out specifically for this. Now that I know, its time to leave this game. Its not just losing the names...I had been on the fence for a while now about canceling. This was just the straw that broke the camels back. My name is my identity just as my avatars looks are. I may as well just start fresh if i'm gonna lose my name.....No way i'm doing that.

I'm waiting to see if i will lose my name. Call it crazy, but I pick names i'm attached to and losing those names is not something i take lightly. Truth be told, i havent played this game much in a few months and have been holding off unsubbing for when the merges happened. The game is already on thin ice for me, and the name issue will either make or break it. I would love to fall in love with this game again, but I'm also at a point where I can be good not playing again. I'm sure some will say its just a name, but I preordered immediately and took the day off work to be one of the first people on during EGA just for that reason. Names may not be important to some, but they are to me. I guess we'll wait and see what happens.

If your account is unsubbed during a transfer, you should lose all rights to any names. I dont mind it during normal times, but server transfers are something else. Loyal customers get punished. We have been paying all this time and got unlucky enough to transfer onto a server where someone who isnt even a paying customer gets to keep the name. Doesnt seem right to me.

I havent put much time at all into this game for the past couple of months. As totally obsessed as i was at launch and the first couple of months, my interest in near zero. I just havent had the heart to cancel. I do love this game and I have been getting the itch.....but.... Its just so hard to get motivated to play. My server has been decimated in population, like 90% of them. Its hard to give a damn when you see 25 people on fleet and anywhere from 2-10 people on any given planet. I created alts on the Fatman and with that population, the game is great again.....problem is, I just dont have the desire to start from scratch. I know server transfers are coming, but more than likely I will lose my names, which i love, am connected to, and was the reason i pre-ordered and was up at 6am on day 1 of EGA to get. Having to possibly lose those names would be another blow for me towards this game. I really dont want to quit, but its so hard to get motivated to play. Just wanted to see how others are doing it. How do you stay motivated to play?

Being the top player of the match, getting 12 medals, winning the match and netting 65 commendations is pure awesomeness..... Especially when you consider that 4 medals and being in the middle of the pack pre 1.2 would net at least 75 commendations..... I understand putting in some time to get good gear, but this is absolutely ridiculous. Dont get me started on when you lose. Enjoy the quick queue times. I predict, if this continues, those times will grow and grow. I know my interest in PvP, which was very high pre 1.2, and diminshed quite a bit.

QFT. I was in a zone with this game. I was loving doing everything i was doing and the promises of 1.2 was gonna make it sweeter. That being said, tonight was the first time that I found myself not even wanting to play. The 1 night out of the week that i can play all night and I'm forcing myself to play. Are devs that out of touch?

I dont like it at all. I really dont even feel like playing pvp anymore. The time spent does not equal a good return, especially considering how lopsided the games tend to be. Tonight, is the the first time where i'm playing because I have to, not so much because i want to. BW screwed the pooch big time on this. I was loving this game last week, not so much anymore. I hoped this gets changed soon. I'm not gonna cry that i'm unsubbing, because i'm not, but all i can say is my joy for the game has diminished by a huge margin. I can only control what I do. I cannot control having idiots for teammates. Its not a good system and i cant even begin to imagine how anyone from BW thought this was good.

Seriously? This is not a game you play to waste time. I have better games to play for that purpose. This is a type of game to play to advance. As a solo player, I cannot control what my team does. I played a voidstar yesterday on my 11 marauder. We got steamrolled. I capped 2 objectives, had 8 medals, and received 30 comms. Thats pretty crap. I got punished because I was unlucky enough to play with 7 of the worst players i have ever seen. To reply to the quote from Organikal......We dont want rewards for losing and participating. We want rewards for doing what is supposed to be done. We want rewards for doing a good job and we dont want to be punished because we were placed on a team of idiots. Why is it so hard for people like you to understand this Organikal? You feel you deserve rewards because you have the luxury of making premades and having more time to play? Not everyone who plays has that luxury.

I guess your argument would be valid, if i could somehow find a way to control the other 7 people on my team. I'm sure you've never played a match where you had nothing but idiots on your team. I played 8 matches the other day. I won 2 and lost 6. Those 6 losses were pure murders. The imps just won like no one was even playing against them. There is only so much I can do by myself. The 2 wins....came against another republic team in huttball.... I cant control who i play with and i cant control how they play. Grouping is not an option for everyone either.

I dont post much on the forums, but this issue really concerns me. I did my first pvp match post 1.2 on my lowly level 11 sith warrior. We lost, not by much, but still a loss. I managed 7 medals. I got rewarded with 30 comms. That was very disheartening. To the people saying that you shouldnt be rewarded for losing.....well, thats stupid. In a PUG, I'm 1 of 8. I cant control what they do. I can try, but I cant play for them. I played the civil war the day before yesterday and my idiot team had control of 1 cannon and 6 of them stayed at the one cannon we controlled. Ever tried playing 2v8? In CoD, i've had TDM games where I went 36-2 and my team still lost. You can only control what you do and you shouldnt be punished for being on a crappy team. At least i got xp and valor but hearing how some people get nothing is cause for major concern. I would be pissed if I didnt get anything. I dont have all day to play. My time is limited and getting absolutely nothing for my time would make me rage. I'm hoping this patch today corrects this. If not, all i can say is it wont take many "no reward" matches to make me quit. I have limited time to play but my options to spend that time are limitless. With that limited time, the last thing i want to do is waste it for nothing. This has to be a mistake. I cant see how this isnt. If i'm wrong, BW really screwed the pooch big time.
