I think that you havent added enough variables to be accurate. If the first wave and second wave let in x number of players, then you could estimate that many per wave...now pre orders were heavy in july and early august but slowed down till oct so maybe aug and sep waves will be faster than youve calculated, speeding up the process as a whole, making the final wave on the third or fourth day.

And what if they are trying to get everyone into the game by the first two days, or the first three....your math is speculative and probably incorrect due to mitigating variables.
