  1. According to Torhead this drops off the final main class quest. So if you didn't get it then, you never will be able to. Like the poster above me said, that orange set is also craftable by Armormech, although the boots were not part of the original craftable set but were added later. Manye people have reported that newly added pieces don't match to the original set, but maybe match-to-chest will fix that.
  2. @CpnWiggler For me it's mostly a matter of "I refuse to use Shock, so which other talents can I spec in instead?" The answer is, not many. The Madness tree leaves very little choice if you want to avoid Unearthed Knowledge and Chain Shock. I agree that all those talents you listed have questionable practical use in Ops. The general theme however is, they all more or less increase your survivability. Any boss fight has damaging mechanics that of course you should avoid but don't always can or do. I understand that as a dps you should be first and foremost concerned about the damage you do, but reducing the damage you take while sacrificing a minor amount of dps reduces stress on the healer which is also a valuable thing to consider. Like I said above the increase in melee dps from Unearthed Knowledge comes out to about 4%. This 4% increase only applies to 3 skills. I would hardly consider that a lot. In fact it comes together with a huge Force cost, which I often find crippling at the times I could use the boost. I would gladly give up that minor boost by increasing my survivability (Corrupted Flesh, Sith Defiance) and my bag of tricks (Haunting Dreams and Oppressing Force). (Btw Oppressing Force is only taken because without it you don't have enough points to move to the next tier of talents, I hardly ever use Electrocute in Ops. After 1.4 it is even less impressive, because they increased the cooldown of Electrocute from 30s to 60s while leaving the talent the same)
  3. You can buy schematics for all Yellow level 50 versions from the PvP vendor, using PvP currency. The level 50 Orange schematics drop from Primal Destroyer.
  4. Well they're not REALLY related, but when you need to use Shock in your rotation to keep Unearthed Knowledge up, you might as well make it as strong as you can. Otherwise it's just +4% melee damage for 45 Force (39 if specced into Torment), which is not really worth the cost in my opinion considering Madness spec only has 4 melee skills of which 1 is only usable under 30% hp (+10% melee bonus damage results in approximately +4% melee damage increase). So use both or use neither. At least that's how I see it.
  5. Chain Shock and Unearthed Knowledge go hand in hand together. There's no point in getting one without the other. I've always preferred a Shock-less build myself. Currently using this for Ops.
  6. Everyone has the ship droid that can use it. But yeah if you're not using a droid there's no point in making droid gear.
  7. I've been using Recklessness with Death Field for a few months now (Madness spec). Never seen it use up more than 1 charge.
  8. Since you have 8GB of memory, you could look into SWToR Unleashed. It places certain games files directly into RAM, thereby speeding up the loading processes. It should help to alleviate the stutter, or at least improve your general play experience. I've been using it for several months now, and the game runs much smoother because of it.
  9. Must be different for tank stance then. Using Madness spec I've never seen this happen in Lightning stance.
  10. Most people here are asking about the purple PvE crystals. Those are not craftable. Only the PvP ones are, as you already found out.
  11. It only takes 1 charge per cast. Regardless of how many people it hits.
  12. In the old Reverse Engineering Guide are 2 pics that together help to clarify a lot. LoneStranger's excellent reverse engineering mega-chart Flowchart of an actual item, courtesy of Echelar
  13. The Hilt determines the rating and thus the damage.
  14. They don't stack. Can't remember which thread it was in but this came up quite recently and several people said they don't stack.
  15. Did you ever test if Parasitism actually worked? Because every time someone asks this on these forums it is answered with "even though FL does several ticks of damage, it doesn't technically count as a DoT so it doesn't work". So you're saying it DOES work?
