I have an idea, once a que has enough people a popup would appear with the map type and the possibility to vote which one the players want to do, for example like in 8v8 once you got at least 12 ppl in q popup and choice between 3 random game type, eg 3 point, huttball, voidstar whichever gets most votes, gets played.
  2. Right so upon playing through ossus, it becomes clear that those who hated the whole eternal empire storyline have got what they wanted and the old rep-imp conflict is back. But! We cant look past, I mean I cant look past of our understanding of the force we gained in kotfe and kotet. The alliance is a mediocre power now, ready to fall apart, which is kinda fine, but as a sith assassin saboteour ( yes i want to join the republic, but not the jedi) I kinda find it hard to think of certain scenarios I could join the republic and still allowed to use force lightning. I think that this u turn in the story is gonna be very difficult to actually make it workable. But I think the best option we have for lightside sith or balanced force users is the following: as far as I am aware satele shan has taken her own students away from the traditional jedi dogma and she is teaching them according to what she and marr figured out in kotfe. Now thats a force ideology i could sign up for. I have no problem serving the republic as I believe that the empire has lost all potency with the death of valkorion/marr/revan, plus they tend to be raving lunatics with no decent vision like what malgus used to have or what revan had. So as things stand I think the empire is on its last legs, and the republic is closer to my gained ideology from kotfe/kotet, mind you the jedi dogma is almost as bad as the sith code, hence i want to join up with satele shan and her "order". I have no problem fighting for the republic, if it means an actual faction switch thats even better. What are your thoughts on this?

  4. Well, watched the latest 2 livestreams, not one mention of selectable warzones, based on "if there is a will there is a way" I don't think the will is there. I guess guilds needed the revamp, just wish you did more for pvp. Bolster 252 is a start, if we don't need to look at gear for pvp, we gonna be happy. I have done what I can lads, told them nicely, told them rudely, its up to the devs.

Hi I just tried putting a weapon tuning into the kingpin dualsaber, and the left end of the hilt shows the weapon tuning effect towards the hilt not towards the blade, I think its buggy so pretty much if you put the lighning tuning in it, it will show the effect from the left end of the handle towards the handle not towards the left blade, Could you please fix that? Thanks
  6. Hi yall Just recently I finished the original story on my new operative that was lvld up to 70 straight after creation with a masters datacron. My question is how can I autocomple the makeb/sor/kotfe stories so that I get the companions coming with it? I guess it’s something to do with kotet but if I start that will the rest autocomplete if so, how? Pretty much I would like all the possible comps except the star fortress ones (i am ls) Thanks

Okay, I am not for strong language, but I am going to swear A LOT in this one, so the message gets through the thick head of the devs. I just spent the last half hour leaving one wz after another at the beginning because not one of them was one i liked It was **** like huttball, areana, odessen at least 9 of them in a row. I have said it before and now say it again. WE NEED SELECTABLE WARZONES WITH THE OPTION TO CHOOSE RANDOM FOR EXTRA REWARDS. It works in wow, you know it does, and voila, wow has an amazingly vibrant pvp community. If you want to use the argument that we dont have enough players for it, here is my answer. We dont have enough players because we are forced to play **** warzones you WANKERS are pushing on us. I bet you *********** anything, that once you put in what i just suggested, there will be longer ques for a certain period, but once the news gets out that you can play whichever wz you want, a lot of old pvp-ers will come back, and maybe - what didnt happen in years - new players will come to play star wars pvp. And to be honest, I would rather wait even 10 minutes in q for an alderaan, voidstar, or novare, than leave 3 huttballs and then get in some random **** that I play with a disdain. There is no shame in utilising what works from other games, in fact this game sorely needs it. So I sure hope that next expansion, the selectable wzs are in the patch, I swear to god right now I just want to punch the decisionmakers of this game in the nose then kick them in the nuts, because you are seriously taking the piss. No piss off and do your *********** job WHAT WE ARE PAYING YOU FOR.

Had a bit of think, and it seems like that BW is trying everything to address the pvp problems, including introducing "matchmaking" that funnily enough does not mean that both teams have the same amount of heal. AAAAnyway I thought what this game needs is something like GW2 has in pvp, when lvl and gear does not matter at all (except tertiary stats, that would give you the extra edge if you set it up right) I still remember when we had 250 valor for a few weeks, and that was the last time that I actually enjoyed pvp to the full. because it wasnt about which team had better gear, or which team had most juggs /maras/mercs/snipers, but everyone had the same chance of making things happen. and at the time, the only difference I noticed was, the actual skill of each player. I tell you what on my main i have 99 valor, and I dont think I am going to finish to a 100 because I am not going to play the next 140 matches carrying low valor, **** gear players because of this new matchmaking rule. IF lvl 250 bolster would be introduced, situation would change. But to me it seems like bioware keeps everything "inbalanced" so mediocre players who rely on their gear for an edge, feel good about themselves, and the rest who dare show their face in a wz below 240 gear, just doesnt care. So why should I? If I am honest, the only reason I am still trying to give this game a chance, and still sticking to it, is because I invested ******** of money effort and time into it, and I would hate that to go to waste, but I am reaching the end of my patience. We are kept promising new stuff to happen and things to get fixed, but they never do. choose your wz option was a good promise in last roadmap, and they pulled it right before patch. and now a new huttball, put in a deathmatch unranked wz for **** sake. noone care about objectives, and 60% of the pvp-ers dont even know how to play it, who gives a **** then? just put in a deathmatch map and let us choose which one we want to play. And dont tell me there is not enough players for it, because we dont have enough players for not having those options in at all. Phew, this felt good. Rant over Cheerio

Frankly if tactical warzones were in ranked like alderaan or novare coast I would probably do that, but since i loathe arena, thanks but no thanks plus i main a hatred sin and in arena and I am not putting up with the ******** of fotm classes like jugg sniper merc or mara, as in most groups there at least 2 of those and I refuse to reroll just for ranked. Sooo noooooooo thanks

I dont see why highest objective score should not be rewarded the same way, my idea was more of a general draft of how the pvp reward system should work. the point is that individual successes of any kind should be rewarded. let that be highest heal, dmg, protection (which is where tanks should be rewarded as per originally intented, hence tanks are even at a better place to get rewarded plus it would give tanks a reason to play with proper tank gears) btw steve I dont know your relationship to other ppl but you seem to be a general naysayer,
  14. Hey yall its Macello from DM Right some of you may know me, others might not, all you need to know that I am bit of a tryhard when it comes to PVP, I always play objectives, and I play to win. Now that said, I find it quite difficult to enjoy every single pvp match these days due to the fact that a lot of players just fool around or come in with a gear where ratings are suboptimal, and/or the tertiary stats not set so bolster doesnt work right. I am not moaning, some of you do it for fun, but still the fact remains that a lot of pvp players rely on the better geared, more experienced players to win the match for them ( when it comes to huttball and there is oper on the team I do the same so I am no different in some ways) I had an idea that would positively reward those players who make an effort and singlehandedly make pvp more fun and more competitive, and may even solve the mats farmer problem in ranked. So my Idea is as follows !!! Regs should have individual rewards for individual performance for example Top 3 dmg from both teams overall would receive extra cash, and mats that currently drop from ranked and maybe some extra cxp all of this pro rated so 1st place 20kcreds 3 mats 6000 cxp 2nd place 15k creds 2 mats 4000 cxp and 3rd 10k creds 1 mat 2000 cxp this is across both winning and losing teams, so this way it would make no difference whether you win or lose, you would still feel that you are achieving something. the same rule can apply to heals and tanks so in a 16m wz there are a maximum of 4 heals and 4 tanks so the heal with most heal output or the top 2 would get reward this way, and tanks would get rewarded based on protection amounts either the most protection made or the top 2. there could also be rewards for most kills done like the top 3 across both teams. !!! Right so here it is. I find it a brilliant idea that could revitalise pvp also the pvp vendors from regs that currently sell weapons, they could be expanded a bit to offer some sort of purchaseable rewards to regs pvp players maybe for uc? or credits tied to valor rating? I think if we could buy some cool but not as cool as ranked reward but still legacy weapons and armor from regs pvp vendor, that would give us some more motivation to do more regs (and it would defo keep us busy till next expansion). also i am not particularly keen on ranked but i heard a lot of players complain about mats farmers, I think the mats reward from ranked should be removed and its should be awarded purely based on performance in regs or keep it in ranked but tie it to performance as above, that way we can make sure that there are no afk-ers as they would not get anything if they dont put in the effort. I am curious to see what you guys think.
