  1. OP the old one WAS broken. How many times did you see rocks floating in the air and 0 damage done? for me it happened 2 to 5 times in every wz. I would easily miss out on killing someone at least once per wz. The so called "mirror" move did instant damage. Project was broken just as bad as volley was for Commando's pre 1.2. Now i don't agree with how they changed it, someone made a post about making the SI's companion move the Jedi's and i agreed with that. it was a instant move and removed "Junk throwing-dark side ability" from a light side/ Republic toon. This to me is whats wrong with Project. it doesn't fit for the class.
  2. X-wing tie fighter games with all the systems and SIZE of the single systems of Eve where you need to use lightspeed to travel even in your own solar system. Think about that. It takes 8 minutes for light from the sun to reach us. In Eve online if you were on the outside of your solar system and had the fastest ship and flew to the center star. It would take a week if you didn't jump or longer lol. I want that size, its mostly empty just like space so there is no problems drawing it for even people on low end comps.
  3. Just when you load into space you would have the hero engine shut down only to reload when going back to the main game. Sure this would make the loading times rise between the two but i don't care. Give me a pretty cinematic scene between them and all is good lol
  4. To bad they didn't use that engine for the game. Its a much better more advanced engine. But then again UT3 engine wasn't around when they started to get all their horses lined up for this game. Maybe it can be used for space but i don't know. All the UT3 engine demos are ground based from what i have seen. As for the novea engine, nah that one just had a major reinvention this past year on some of the rendering things. BioWare should just steal Eve onlines full systems port over their SWTOR ships and add many more and direct control ( not point and click ) and remove the jump gates i know i know. Huge MASSIVE systems where if you just flew at top speed to the star in the middle of your system you were in and not jumped it would take you the better part of a week ( a RL week ) to get there lol. That would just be one system out of what is it ? 5,000... i can dream can't i ?
  5. I think i just found my new Sig. Someone asked how much DPS can you put out in 2.3 seconds as a DPS spec. I have ran Healing and slight DPS spec on my Sage. In 2.3 seconds i can put out 4k Damage average. I can crit for more and or not crit and hit for less in that time but this was in healing gear and no stims and not a full blown DPS spec. On my Sent. a 3800-4k heal in 2.3 seconds doesn't heal the damage i do in that time frame not to mention there is no way that heal is going to be completed. way way to easy to interrupt. Might as well through a sign over the healers head. " Don't worry you got over 2 seconds to interrupt this heal." As for worthless, I find that if i am not being attacked then its not even close to worthless. It only becomes worthless once they spot you. But then again that's when almost everything becomes worthless

I saw this and laughed. pre 1.2 healers could stay alive because hardly any one would interrupt or as you would say "use all your tools" Right now if a DPS just DPS'ed a healer and a healer spammed heal. the healer loses. it should be a stalemate but its not even close. The Healer also has knockbacks but most have to stand still to heal so this becomes a push. Now add in interrupts and its game over. Lets not forget the 23%+ damage bonus 20%+ damage reduction bonus and the 12% healing bonus. Yes that's all from the same amount of expertise not counting the all ready -30% healing debuff. A DPS should not even come close to killing a healer with out interrupts. Why? because a healer also has to throw out damage on this DPS which lowers his over all healing. So now what i see is a healer throwing out 4 heals 2 getting interrupted and 1 DoT healing for around 3k in that time and doing 1k damage as the DPS just did 8k damage along with 2 interrupts. Those 2 interrupts = a -3k to 5k healing which you have to look at as a bonus to the DPS. 8k Damage done -3 to 5k healing stopped for a grand total of 11k to 13k as the healer sits that at 3k healing 1k damage. Oh and he is dead . Yes i see healers do 450k in some wz but i also see DPS doing 650k. Pre 1.2 the high DPS and high healing were always close to the same. now it is very uncommon to see a healer with more healing than the top DPS. Pre 1.2 i could stand and spam because NO ONE would interrupt and i do mean NO ONE. Now thats all they do as my big heal is just to long and the small heal is not enough to hang ( 1.1k 1.4 second cast) with DPS doing 1,600k average DPS. I twisted my build which lowered my healing but gives me better survival. I do miss being a pure healer and i feel i am letting my side down in every wz because my healing is now 175k ( down from 350-450k) but i have raised my damage to 200k ( up from around 50 to 60k before) Just removing the double dip bug would have reduced healing by almost 40% but not only did they do that and removed the quicker cast time totaly but they lowered expertise bonus % raised it on damage and reduction. People in my guild are starting to see it now. They are all saying the TTK is to quick and that the only viable healer now is OPs/Scoundrels. Hang in there my fellow healers as we have hit bottom and i do see healing being upgraded on the sages and commandos shortly as they get the metrics over the next month or two. Oh and a side not. PvE healing isn't to bad but that's because there isn't a -30% debuff. Removing that in wz would cure this but then Ops/Scoundrels would need a big healing nerf.
  7. Thats what i got out of his post. "I'm Elite i know more i'm the best so i am right" I read his post and like i said thats well and good but its not a PvP rotation and not even close. Most of the so called QQ is about PvP not PvE even though PvE also did get hit.
  8. and you ignore PvP all together. not to mention the fact that most heals you have to stop moving to cast. But hey that's a good idea let sages always stay mobile no matter what heal they cast. That would help ten fold. PvP was hit much worse than PvE, MUCH worse.

  10. I will never give up my Sage but i most likely will respecc to DPS. I need something to help me servive more than the 4 seconds it takes to kill a healing sage now. The funny thing is Pre 1.2 no one would ever use interrupt on my casts allowing me to heal through the damage now i can't get a cast off because all they do is interrupt. Now had they been using that tactic before people would not have been screaming about force healers being OP, and to be honest 90% of the people that DID scream force healers are OP did not know what they were talking about. What i mean by this is they were screaming about the high damage they did to them and then their self heals..... *** learn the class, you are talking about a hybrid NOT a seer. BW listened to the mindless screaming masses and thought hmm healing is a little OP. Yeah there was a bug allowing us to double dip a 1.4 second major heal. Had you just removed that ONE bug it would have lowered our healing output by 40%. But not only did you remove that bug you nerfed healing you lowered the expertise bonus to healing and changed noble sac and the way we regin force. So over all our healing has been reduced by a good 65% when you factor in the longer casts and the MORE interrupts we are receiving, our burst healing is now 0 really. ill show a little aid for those that dont understand. Healing numbers with no other outside combat action, just pure healing numbers, to make it easier to see the difference in healing over a set time. ( average heals between crit and non-crit ) Pre-1.2 1.4 4000 1.4 4000( bug ) 2.8 4000 1.4 4000 1.4 4000( bug ) 8.4 20000 total time and heal numbers Post-1.2 2.8 3600 2.8 second casts are way to easy to interrupt 2.8 3600 2.8 3600 8.4 10,800 total time and heal numbers. Most of the time though 2 of those casts are interrupted. Now lets just do one with the bug removed to = the same time as these two also adding the nerf to healing. 1.4 3600 2.8 3600 2.8 3600 1.4 3600 8.4 14,400 total time and healing With the new combat logs people are showing about a average of 1,500+ DPS, Thats 4200 damage in 2.8 seconds Now add in the bonus to damage from expertise ( these numbers ar epulled off target dummies no exp bonus there ) and you start to see why Healers are not lasting. they can continue to spam heal themselves but it is a losing battle even before interrupts. This also means little chance for the attacker to even worry about the healer fighting back. actually NO chance for the healer to even fight back if he wants to even try and servive. Stay mobile and trying to kite just means no real healing and the same out come, Death.
  11. I took me 5 matches on my DPS commando ( sub 50 wz ) to finally see a healer go OVER 100k. There is this healer that always was around 230k-270k pre 1.2 and some times even hit 300k+ and they were the first i saw reach 100k at 106k. these were all voidstar matches. Also they would normally die 2 to 3 times and she had 15 deaths. I talked to her and asked if they were focusing on her. She said no it was the fact she couldn't keep the people in front of her alive allowing them to then steam roll her. the squishiest of all healers are now just , well almost worthless in PvP. BTW she respecced right after that into DPS. Now its like pulling teeth to find healers in PvP and its only going to get worse.
  12. My take lvl 50 Seer full healing spec Before i will admit to double dipping to increase my healing using the bug. This allowed me to focus on my team more instead of 1 person. This also allowed me to do a quick filling up of my health once someone started to beat on me allowing team mates to come over and help. That being said, i am dead now if someone looks at me. Before i could heal AND throw out a little DPS to help others finish off someone when they were not needing healing. Now i can not heal enough to keep a person standing 1 vs 1 if its against a strong player. This wasnt a problem before and to be honest it shouldn't be a problem. if no one is attacking me i SHOULD be able to out heal DPS every time. Again i said "IF NO ONE IS ATTACKING ME" there is enough CC and stuns in this game for people to shut down a healer they just were not using them. Now they don't even need to try to use those abilitys they can just burn right through you. Also the real painfull truth is now they ARE using those interupts/stuns and CC so you last oh 4 seconds. Healing numbers "per heal" have dropped about 10-15% but OVERALL healing is down a strong 40%. Mostly because of the bug removal( replaced really ) . To be honest the bug removal was more than enough but then they boosted the damage in exp and this made everyone take more damage causing a healer to work harder with less to work with when reducing the healing bonus of exp. I did some number crunching and because of the double dipping it caused Seers ( sages ) to increase their healing close to 40%. It was over done. I do see them fixing this as the cry about healing is starting to hit the DPS people. my DPS friends are even making posts to help us sages. Scoundrels now got a buff to their healing and if you ask me they were #2 in servivability compared to other healer even before 1.2 when talking about solo encounters. They are easily #1 now and those scoundrels you couldn't kill pre 1.2 don't even try to now.
  13. These are fine UI's people but ill give you a hint to help some of you. In the ui customization window there is a option to rotate or flip things. Now dont worry it doesn't make them UPSIDE DOWN. But for things like the Map it puts the flat spot on the sides or top depending on where you want it. it also flips things docked to the top so you can dock them to the bottom and make it look like it belongs. Try it and you will love the much cleaner looks you will get. There is also rotate. Use them all for a clean tight UI that you will love forever and something you can be very proud of.
  14. I don't get how people still have slow internet speeds. I play less right now for 20mbps speed than i did for my 3mbps DSL 2 years ago.
  15. i got another one A Jedi/Sith class that focuses on lightsaber AND melee attacks. A lot more martial arts like fighting. where 50% or more of your attacks are kicks/punches strengthened by the force. Class name Jedi Sword/ Sith Gladiator.
