I'm not sure what you're proposing... are you saying people would put money down for a chance to get a taxi speeder? I think there are probably other ways in which gambling can be added to the game... for instance pazaak, podracing, dueling arenas, etc.

I think the devs have stated that customization for starships is one thing that would obviously be really cool, and it's something they want to do. I wouldn't expect anything in the very near future, though. I like the ideas of ship droids, or trophies of the various world bosses that you've killed, etc. Laying out my house in Galaxies was a lot of fun!

Just FYI, this has been brought up to the devs in a variety of settings (Q&A, gaming conventions, etc) and there is interest on the dev team for it. I doubt it will happen in the very near future, though. But rest assured, they would like to have something like this, especially because of the Jedi Master / Apprentice relationships!

As the above poster said, they are aware of the issue and are presumably working on something. If you haven't been reading them, check out the weekly Q&A sessions with the developers; they provide a lot of good answers!

I really can't believe that there were no minigames added to the game at launch or soon after (I guess you can consider space combat as something along those lines, but still...). I would LOVE to see any and all things mentioned here. Gambling, card games, podracing, betting, dueling arenas, etc. These are the sorts of things that add a lot of fun for the community without upsetting other aspects of the game.

I agree that equipment dyes and coloring should be added to the game in the future. But I think the appearance stuff is really going pretty well in 1.3. Since social armor is now adaptive, and since you can augment any piece of equipment, I've been seeing a lot of really great customized armor sets all around. If you haven't given it a shot, check it out!

There was a recent comment by a dev (actually Daniel Erickson if I'm remembering correctly) who said that more slots would definitely be coming in the future. There was no mention of how these would be obtained (ie. free or with a payment fee, or possibly through legacy? etc) but they do realize that some people need more slots.

There was a reply by one of the devs in a recent Q&A that said they would be looking into ways to ensure you had the necessary missions available (ie. many times there are no Metal missions in UT). I think they're aware of some of the limitations with the current way these missions are chosen and displayed.

That's interesting, because most MMO veterans I play with say that TOR is one of the best balanced games. I've never ran into a situation where a particular advanced class was declined from a warzone or operation simply because they were poorly balanced. You have to realize that sometimes groups won't accept a certain class simply because they have too much ranged dps, or some reason like that.

Hello, just a quick proposal. I think it would be useful to have a sound notification when the Group Finder pops, like the noise that is made when a warzone pops. The reason is that sometimes people don't have TOR maximized on their desktop (or they may not even be at their computer!) and the sound would alert us when a group is made. I've just noticed that many people seem afk when the Group Finder is trying to put a party together.

Are you talking about non-combat vanity pets?

Not level 50 yet, either. There are many of us out there. I play quite a bit but I try to do most every quest that I come across. Slows things down quite a bit when you're doing grey and green quests! I'll be with the game for a long time; there is no rush for me.

I think the "more information" is just about the downtimes, etc. They don't usually post the patchnotes until after the downtime, if I'm not mistaken. With that said, it could be 1.1.1, who knows.

Can you just go do them to clear them out of the log? If they're grey, I imagine they should be very easy to just finish up. Yes it's annoying, and I'm sure it will be fixed eventually, but in the meantime it seems like you should just do them to get room in your quest log?
