  1. I don't understand how it's possible to be under levelled at that point :s I have never grouped, I hate the starship mini game, I don't pvp and I don't like warzones. Having said all that after a blip on taris being under levelled I have always started the planets mid way through the level range. I'm now on correllia and I've already hit 50 with plenty of the planet left to go. If you do all the class and world quests you will be on level, if you do the bonus series (going back to each planet) then you will be over levelled. So basically, what did you miss on earlier planets?
  2. It's not an issue for 90% of cases. It is an issue when you rolled on an English server that has been designated the unofficial XXXXX server. In the first instance you have the odd but of babble in general that you don't understand, in the second instance you struggle to find anyone who will actually speak with you in your own language. If they made server transfers freely available it wouldn't be an issue, but for people with lots of time invested on one server they have no where to go other than throw it all away and reroll or quit.
  3. Oh I know. But as this is clearly an important mechanic having to constantly back in and out of range to assure being at the right point is a bit of a cumbersome way of maintaining distance.
  4. Got it. Now all the need to do is introduce a ruler into the game so I know how far off I am and I'm sorted.
  5. Cracking. Thanks. So as a dps Jedi I want to be as close as possible to generate LESS threat?
  6. Now you are done Could you please answer my serious question I tried to ask. Could you explain for the layman what the overall effect of this actually is.
  7. Like the poster above, very interresting numbers, but what's the point?
  8. Actually this isnt so in EvE. Almost the entire economy is player driven, with only a couple of things being paid to NPCs. It does mean that the money constantly increases in the game, but this doesnt seem to have affected inflation in anyway, I suspect thats because they release new ships that are of a higher cost meaning that the base items stay the same, you just need more and more of them.
  9. You see this is utter rubbish, it really is. I have done on every planet my Class quest and the standard quests on each planet. I have also done most of the bonus series on the planets, but I have missed a couple. I am exactly the right level for each planet I go to. I havent done any space missions (Appart from grey ones) I havent done any heroics, or warzones or PVP. I am currently near the end of the quest series on corellia and I am level 49. I will probably hit cap a little bit before the end of the game, but its close enough. If you only do you class quests you will end up trying to leave your starter planet about 2 levels below, and then it will simply get worse from there on.
  10. How on earth can you claim it's 'not against the background' Seriously? We aren't talking about true civilians here, who could quite legitimately have relatives living on a planet controlled by the otherside. What we are talking about are fanatically devoted people who idiologically disagree with everything the otherside does. There is a absolutely no precedent in the books or films of a Jedi contacting a sith, or the other way around simply for a social call or to transfer their little brother some credits. I will repeat again this shouldnt apply to smugglers or bounty hunters who simply should have been tied to a side in the first place.
  11. Its not trolling, it's just explaining the way the game is designed. I can't fathom why they are bind on pick up, or why they cannot be gotten in the usual crafting method (crew skills) but its not the way the game is designed so we have to live with it. Your point of view seems to be 'I want it my way and I'm not going to be happy until I get it.' to which the answer can only be, no, that's not how the game works.
  12. Well still on the subject of shovels. I have a type 1 female body jedi knight. On one quest I have found some bodies and I feel it necessary to bury them (I come across and create 100s of bodies all the time, but never feel it necessary to bury any of them!) Anyhow, I click on the body to be buried and, PING! out of my characters backside is produced a shovel. This shovel is square headed and so large that my jedi would be required to use the force in order to lift it, let alone lift it with soil in it. Its the same size as a JCBs small shovel!. And then I proceed to replace it into my backside. A shovel thats almost as tall as me, and actually wider than my character! I could almost accept it if I had a shovel in my mission items, but I dont, which means I have been carrying it all the time!. And then I jumped onto my speeder which I pulled out of....
  13. someone has already given that exact response to that exact post. I'll say it again. The legacy system does not do anything of the sort. It allows our characters to be linked in many ways (apparently) this does NOT mean that the sith lord whoes brother is a jedi master are best buddies who meet up for drinks on a Wednesday night!
