  1. If you have run through the Imperial Agent storyline you know Ensign Temple's "classified" secret. I have included it below hidden to avoid Spoilers for those who do not already know: I hope I can get others on board. Why would Bioware strip her of her original canon abilities aside from just forcing her into a box to fit one of the limited types of companion archetypes we have now? Which is all kind of my point; companions used to be UNIQUE, now they are clones of each other, there really is no point in collecting them all in this "Gotta Catch 'Em All" Post KOTFE world aside from being a completionist and wanting a full set, which I have done on my MAIN but refuse to do with any other toons as it is far too grindy. At anyrate, please comment your thoughts. I want the original SWTOR Vanilla Canon Raina Temple back!
  2. I loved Nadia! I used to refer to her as my little geisha! The vanilla versions of the companions had Nadia as the most powerful force using companion. Her old "Wild Energy" ability wasa forward knock back AOE that would one shot an entire mob. She was great fun in open world PVP. It's an extreme shame that they just changed all companions to being exactly the same, taking away all unique abilities.
  3. My Assassin was full dark side. It was a dark side option. Obviously I was going to follow through with that option. Plus Zash is a wealth of knowledge in the dark side of the force and is forever bound to you. Why not have that knowledge enslaved to you?
  4. It may help if you watch old footage from an intro on youtube and then do it yourself with a new character. Some are quite subtle. The largest that has been modified I think was Agent? Bounty Hunter?
  5. Yeah, I quit on a group a couple days ago because they were bad and I had to watch them chat for about an hour on ways to complete the flash point and all of their ideas were awful. This was a PUG grp that would not listen to anything my 5+ years of experience with the game had to say. It was oddly satisfying to watch them stumble and fail after refusing my knowledge.
  6. okay, okay. I never collected yu-gi-oh. I did used to collect Marvel Comics Trading Cards and buying a box guaranteed an entire set. I do understand why a "guaranteed" platinum would not make sense but at least Gold and below should be believable to get an entire set. I bought TWO of the most recent hypercrate and not once did I get a piece of that new bounty hunter armor. I take issue also with these grand chance cubes. if they are now "guaranteed" one in every pack then just remove them from packs and release the general grand chance cube packs separately. Get them out of the packs! The companion gifts and jawa scrap are useful to everyone both for companion influence alone. Anyway, this new pack experience was awful. If I didn't get the Dark Eternal Throne and Eternal War Table, in separate packs, it would have been a complete waste of money.
  7. My theory was that synthetic red crystals were incredibly rare so he had to use the only one he could find. This of course is now no longer canon thanks to that horrible Ahsoka novel that changed lore forever stating that normal crystals "bleed" and become red when used by dark side users. Such crap! Jedi/Light side/Ashla are just one side of the Force. Sith/Dark Side/Bogan are the other side of the Force with the Bendu being the Force in balance. I don't feel that Jedi should canonically have a monopoly on kyber crystals. it just does not make any sense. Any way, rant over.
  8. I'll keep this short. I like to compare how I think a hypercrate SHOULD work like that box of collectible cards of Yu-gi-oh or baseball cards or what have you. It cost a good amount of money to buy an entire box of these card packs but it was worth it for one reason and one reason alone: If you invested money into it you were pretty much guaranteed to get every single card in the entire set with a few doubles and rarely some triples. Why don't hypercrates work this way? This RNG is a mess. Hell, even up the price of a hypercrate, I don't care, as long as you can guarantee I get at least one of every item in the shipment. That is all.
  9. /Signed. I think it's good to have the requirement for PVP since Maul hits so hard and you can just walk behind another player to use it without having to CC them but an NPC will face and rotate you no matter what making Maul a huge pain in the butt.
  10. Disclaimer: Please don't post your obligatory "I hate Quinn" trash here. We've had enough of that. This thread is only for people who wish to collect both companions in 5.2. Step One: Be a Sith Warrior (it will only work with this class) Step Two: Choose Republic over Sith Empire Step Three: Pardon Quinn at end of the chapter and he will join you as an active companion despite choosing Pubs over Imps. This wont work for Trooper as Elara Dorne will see you as a traitor and she will just call you on the holo to tell you that your companionship is over forever. Try this, it actually works!
  11. THANA VESH!!!!!!!!!!! make it so!!!
  12. The character who is cloaked is obviously a male/female body type 3. My guess is Darth Jadus or Darth Malgus!
