  1. I used to grind out conquest every week for 2 small guilds, Pub and Imp. Now, I don't bother. I log in long enough to finish 5 weeklies for GS, and the 25K per day after that and I'm done. Since the nerf, my friend plays even less than that. And yes, I agree that this nerf was done due to the easy hand in of Rep tokens for the 25K per day. And it backfired. No wonder they didn't put this up on the PTS. They had to have known or at least suspected. All they did was delay the backlash. They should have known better. Their own metrics have to be telling them how much this failed and then there are those who are unsubbing. As the man holding the reins, Keith needs to do better. And though he's tried to herd players into PVP, GFS, and Ops since he took over, that's failed too. I'd rather eat ground glass. So, here we are and the unsub button is calling my name too.
  2. I just wanted to drop in and say Thank You to the devs for mostly reversing the loot issue. Now about those reputation points for conquest. Even bumping it up to 20 or 30 points would help. I think the reason had to do with this Galactic Seasons where they didn't want people to just log in and get the 25 daily points too easily. However, they didn't stop to think about those of us who also grinded out conquest on several alts, especially those of us with small guilds. And what about when season 6 ends? We'll wait and see if they rectify this in the next patch. Fingers crossed.
  3. This was posted for the 7.4.1b patch. Fitted Armors and Weapons for World Drops and Ancient Armaments are now Bind to Legacy on Equip and have a Vendor Value of 100 credits to allow sale on the GTN and Vendors. Reduced the drop rates of new items in the "Grade 11 Treasure Hunting Lockbox" significantly to better align with previous drop rates. I'm not sure Broadsword got the point about the Fitted Armor drops. It's not that they occasionally dropped, it's that they completely replaced the loot table. Even selling at 100 credits a pop, it won't make up for the lost tech frags, conquest commendations, or jawa junk we got from deconstruction of the other 320 gear. We also no longer get the goody bags containing 10 fragments, conquest coms. war zone or ops commendations. It might help new players build up their bank accounts, or some may use them in outfitter, but for those of us who are still gearing alts, or use the jawa junk for crafting, it's pretty useless. I guess the change with the patch is better than nothing, but it still misses the mark by a mile or maybe a parsec or two. EDIT: I almost forgot. We used to get decorations from Ossus but not any more. Seems that loot table has been replaced by the Fitted Armor as well. Not sure if anyone else has noticed, but Ossus is one of my regular daily planets and no decos have dropped since 7.4.1.
  4. The entire response is basically telling the player base "Sorry about your luck" "Deal with it." Though the Copero Stronghold is lovely, even the story part of it requires doing flashpoints. Yes, some can be soloed, but it's still pushing group content. The same as Conquest is pushing group content. I see they didn't nerf Starfighter or PVP. So, as usual, they are trying to herd players into those activities. Due to a disability I can no longer PVP or do Ops. Well, I could do PVP if I just stood there and got annihilated over and over again. Oh wait, I can't because I'd be kicked from the group. Starfighter makes me nauseous. So, here we are. I've gone from playing several hours a week to make guild conquest on my friend and my small guild. Now I'm logging in just long enough to get the Seasons points. If you wanted me to play less, all you had to do was ask. My sincerest sympathies for those who can't log in at all.
  5. Ran a couple of heroics and my bag filled up with this useless junk. Can't vendor it, and what's worse is it can't be deconstructed for tech frags, conquest commendations, or more importantly, jawa junk. This is going to hit crafters hard, especially for players new to the game who could purchase crafting items with jawa junk. So, what's our source for jawa junk now? No wonder they didn't put 7.4.1 up on the PTS. I guess they wanted to avoid the backlash. Between this and the Reputation nerf, all they did was delay it.
  6. I saw that too. So basically they want everyone to do a single GS quest/level per day for the 10K, then the whopping 22K once per week. Huh. It still doesn't equate. I noticed they didn't nerf any group content though which is fine, but not everyone does group stuff. I used to pvp and do Ops but developed a disability that no longer allows me to participate. So, I guess I just stable my alts for now. Also, what's the deal with that Fitted Armor? You can't vendor it, can't deconstruct it for tech frags, jawa junk, or conquest commendations. Yeah, you can GTN the stuff, but boy, does it fill up inventory fast. So, no, not happy with these changes at all.
  7. Conquest is the major reason for me to log in every day in between Galactic Seasons and new story content. My friend and I have a small guild and this will make conquest much harder to achieve. This nerf has taken away my incentive to log in and play on multiple toons. This hurts the game and I don't see the point of why this change was done.
  8. Yes, many of us have been asking for more interaction, even just a letter. I guess they listened. It may be a long time before we see all of your romanced companions, but it's something to look forward too. A bit of extra sauce. What do you wanna bet Quinn is last on the list? LOL. Anyway, the news made quite a few of us happy.
  9. I have 1 SW with Arcann and am stoked about date night, not only with him, but with the others as well. Any bets as to if Quinn is last in line? LOL. Anyway, this has been suggested several times. I'm so pleased that the devs are doing this.
  10. I just wanted to say Thank You for the "Date Night." I've seen it suggested or asked for many times. Just short, replayable content with our companions that have been silent for too long. No, it's not just a "Girly" thing. I remember after we lost all of our companions, a lot of dudes were on here asking, "When do I get Jaesa, Vette, Kira, whoever back? Where's my wife?" Overall I see this as a positive thing for many of us. And for those who don't care, we all survive parts of the game we don't like. Thanks again, Devs for the little extras you add. We appreciate you.
  11. This may be to force more people to buy the companion boosts from the cartel market instead of being able to make dark projects.
  12. Server: Star Forge 2 characters experiencing long delays going to a from strongholds. Stronghold location doesn't seem to matter. Travel from Corellia to Nar Shaddaa took over 2 minutes. Exiting from Tatooine stronghold to planet took over 3 minutes. Quick travel seems to work okay as well as the heroic transports. Edit: There is also a delay when logging out. Seems it's only Star Forge. No problem on Satele Shan.
  13. The thing with companions killable or not, love interest or not, there are flags set in the game to determine that status. Maybe it's just too much work and expense to read those flags and program accordingly. Aric dead, no letter. Romance flag, a letter. No romance flag, just a friendly note. Corso romance flag, sweet letter. No romance flag, generic hi, how are ya? No one expects to hear from a companion on every planet, that would make no sense. But a little something whenever the story takes us back to a home planet or where our characters first met? Yeah, that would be nice. Still, I overall enjoyed the 7,4 story and it was nice to see a difference between force users and non force users. To be acknowledged as one or the other was a nice touch. Thanks for that and getting back to Pub vs Imp.
  14. There's actually a lot of content in 7.4, just not exactly what we were expecting or hoping for. A lot of work had to go into Kessan's Landing, and the continuing Lane Vizla story. So, yes, the main story was rather sparse, but it's not like we didn't get anything. I suppose many would consider this filler stuff, but every MMO has that, as well as some form of grind. Was the launch perfect? Nope, not by a long shot, but I can't say the devs didn't give us much. They're even working on issues and bugs in record time. So, once in a while I like to give credit. Lord knows they get their fair share of complaints from me.
  15. The main boss is immune to damage, but slow moving. Kite him to those things with the green arrow, get out of his damage cone. Nothing to click on. The thing explodes damaging him. Rinse and repeat, just take care of the adds as much as you can. I died too until I figured it out. I didn't spoiler this. Figured it'd be on Swtorista soon anyway.
