Kind of like having the Veteran Vectron Speeder (The very same speeder from the movie, I might add) and Obalisk armor, (The very same armor that Darth Bane wears 300 years after this game). and Insidious armor set (The very same robes worn by Darth Sidious) and the Chiss (Don't even get me started on how the Chiss are in the Old Republic). So Way Off! or On Point! it is all a matter of perspective.

As the title says I want to help you out Bioware, I don't want to see the current minimum wage employees and coders replaced with a troop of drunken monkeys and call-centre Bots so I am offering to help you out. Step 1) Put someone in charge of the Cartel market that understands Marketing. You need to do something called "rotating your stock". You need to take advantage of moments like having a new starwars movie and Christmas in the same month. In the Cartel market there is a tab for Packs, yes it says packs (Plural) meaning more than 1. You could have put all the explorer and alliance packs up for sale over christmas along with all the Christmas deco's speeders and gear that you gave away for free like you did Christmas 2014 and made a ton of money, $$$$ loads of it. people have a tendancy to buy stuff around Christmas, You want to take advantage of that. so Step 1, put someone in charge of the Cartel Market that understands how to get people to use their credit cards. So face it, you guys blew it this Christmas, you wasted a golden opportunity, BLEW IT! Step 2) Hire more coders. I know you guys went through some serious house cleaning and fired everyone and reduced the team to the minimal amount of employee's at the lowest dollar to run this game, but in order to make more money you are going to have to spend more money and that money needs to be spent on hiring more coders. You can get that money by putting someone in charge of the Cartel market that understands how to make money (See how it is all a vicious circle, That is what you call Business, they don't run or sell themselves). Step 3) USE YOUR PTS SERVER FOR WHAT IT WAS INTENDED FOR! The PTS server is suppose to be used to test new content before you release it, to work out the bugs, You get free labour if you pay attention to all the players that find all the bugs FOR YOU!, all you have to do is fix them. this is something that can easily be done by just hiring a couple more dedicated coders and putting the content up on the PTS and fixing it there. This advice was FREE BTW, you are welcome. I just save your company $100,000 or more in consultant fees to hire a team of people to come in for a week and basically tell you the same thing. Please feel free to add any other advice to this post, after this latest update fiasco and a crappy Christmas for this game they could use it.

They can't afford to, as you may have noticed they have no idea how to make money. Like giving away all the stuff for free this year that cost some of us cartel coins last year. Like having a new Starwars movie and Christmas in the same month and not even bothering to offer more than 1 lousy cartel pack to buy over Christmas, or vanity cool stuff like Knights of Ren armor, or maybe new Stormtrooper armor simular to Force awakens. The only item we got related to the movie was a veteran Vectron speeder. They could have cleaned up on credits if they had just put the christmas stuff on the cartel market and had all of the explorer and alliance packs available over christmas. They could have done that with minimal effort and made 10x the $$$ they made selling the same tired cartel pack for 3 months now. And they wouldn't have had to write a stitch of code. Don't expect anything more for free, if anything expect them to start asking for donations to keep the game running.

This is yet another example of how the Devs are completely out of touch with the game and it's content. Bioware hired coders fresh out of school to run this game that put in minimal time and effort and don't really care because this is just a stepping stone to bigger and better opportunities. Who asked for the snow cannon? Who asked to leave the snow effect on? Can you even get snow parcels anymore? Is there a snow parcel vendor? I suspect the whole dang train came off the rails this time. Game is completely unstable and they all punched out at 430. That PTS server you guys have, if you actually used it, you create the content 30 days in advance and then you work out all the bugs for a few weeks prior to release so that when you release it the stuff is stable. I know you fired all those people to save money and I understand that the staff just isn't there to do that but here are a few fixes for you. Step 1) Put someone in charge of the Cartel Market that understands the concept of "Rotating stock" constantly change the items to entice "Buying". Whoever thought leaving 1 lonesome tired cartel pack up for 3 months over Christmas needs to be fired. You had a new SW movie to capitalise on too! You could have capitalised big time, you could have even sold the Christmas stuff from last year instead of giving it out for free this year, lets face it, when it comes to making money you guys blew a big opportunity. Step 2) Once you have people incharge of enticing the FTP and the community to give you more money hire more coders. Step 3) Use the PTS server for what it was intended for "Finding and fixing bugs before you release the content". My advice is free BTW so you just saved $100,000 on hiring a consultant for a week who would have basically said the same thing. You are welcome.

In order for us to spend money on other packs there needs to be more than just 1 pack available at a time, I don't understand why they don't have all the alliance packs available once released. Did the programmers forget how to load more than 1 pack at a time? Over Christmas they left 1 lousy pack for sale, that's all you could purchase over Christmas. after the Strategic Alliance Pack got beaten to death now they are going to leave this same stale tired pack up for another month all by itself? Maybe they are trying to see if deco's and outlander armor sets will be sold on GTN for as little as 5 credits each.

The GTN is not buggy, oh wait yes it is, programmers can't even be bottered to enter items in search. The mail system is not buggy, oh wait yes it is, sometimes if you try to access it from too far away the mail disappears and you have to completely exit the game and relog and its in your mail as if you opened it already. Well atleast the didn't mess with the graphics, Oh wait yes they did 80% of the people I know had to reset their graphics to default and then slowly increase resolution because of the new enhanced graphics which look exactly like the old graphics. Well at least all the decorations are fine, Oh wait! They broke the Jukebox music ages ago, the social dance bomb music ages ago, The underworld lurker deco cant be picked back up or moved once placed. The old server monitor deco from the underworld packs is broken, the minefield marker deco is broken, The bounty probe deco bought with bounty certificates cant be moved on its hook, KOTFE doesn't have al sorts of graphics issues, suspended in space, glitchyness, invisible NPG's Oh wait yes it does. Well atleast when you summon Koth and tell him to go away he doesnt leave his ear antenna behind... Oh wait yes he does.... at least every single new pack doesn't contain items that are undefined / undefined / undefined, oh wait its happened like 3 times in a row now. It's not like every single December in the history of this game has had a broken event, Oh wait this year there where 2 broken events back to back. Well they got a PTS to check for bugs before they release stuff, Oh wait they don't bother to do that anymore........... How about we just leave 1 alliance cartel market pack all by it's lonesome up for sale over Christmas the biggest month in retail with no other options, and then we will leave this same tired pack up for all of December and all of January. let's not sell 3 different packs as options at the same time. let's not put the October and November Alliance packs back up, I mean they were available for a whole month each. I Don't see a problem with this game, do you see a problem?

Once upon a time in the early days of the Cartel Market Bioware had this crazy wild concept of having more than just 1 cartel market pack available to purchase at the same time.. I know whoa, ......Whoa!!!! that's just crazy talk but there actually used to be as many as 8 different packs to choose from for sale in the cartel market at the SAME TIME!!!!! hence the open slots Bioware, I mean hey! you guys know your own game better than me and I am sure you guys have a logical explanation for putting up and removed 2 different packs for 30 days each, 1 pack in October removed, and 1 in November removed and then for 2 and a half months nearly 90 days now you left the same tired strategic alliance pack all by its lonesome available for sale to oversaturate the GTN with 1000's of copies of the same tired junk during Christmas all by it's lonesome in what is the high point of retail sales while everyone went away for vacation. Why would you want to have more than 1 singular pack for sale at the same time in the cartel market? that's just silly, then players would have options, pfft! who wants those and people might spend more money trying to get an Akk Dog license over the holidays to pass the time with 2 broken events. That's just rediculous. Who wants to make money? not Bioware! let's just release 1 cartel pack at a time and remove them with no set interval so no one knows what will become rare and what will become so stale that you can't even give away on the GTN for 5 credits. Good job BioFail, Whoever is in charge of the Cartel Market and bringing in the $$$ should get like a million dollar raise! and that seems fair to me as who cares! No one is paying attention anyway.

Nice post, I was thinking the same and doing exactly as you discussed but the Ops group Xeno drop is not as easy as you describe. The Gree Heroic can be solo'd however. 10x Lvl 60+ doing 1x Heroic each for 1x Helix, 10 Helix per day total of 70 at the end of the week, grind grind grind, rinse and repeat. Already sick of killing guardians, but I enjoy collecting Deco's.....

For the most part the new changes in 4.0 are good but Devs seem to have decided to wage a war on the GTN; - Event decos are now BOP? Why? If I want to pay creds for someone else's work what is the problem? Why make each player grind each and every single deco now, this change makes absolutely no sense. - Planetary display deco's can't be sold on GTN? can be traded yes! but not listed along with other Ops deco's, again Why? If I want to pay Creds on the open market how does this effect gameplay? -Zakuul Deco's earned in Heroic are BOP, Zakuul Decos bought with crystals can be sold on GTN? Okay? don't understand the logic here..... Lvl 64 Barrels are a dime a dozen on the GTN, but good luck finding a level 64 Hilt.... Bioware, you have nerfed Companion PVP gear, nerfed Companion gear, implants, earpieces, nerfed overleveled Ops and Kuat smashing, I don't agree with these changes but atleast I can understand why. But I would like to know why you are now limiting what can be bought and sold on the GTN/GTM. These items are nothing but vanity, just like most cartel pack items. everything aquired should be free to trade? Buy/Sell, this trend towards BOP on everything aquired in game is not cool. It tells me you want people buying more cartel packs and only selling items aquired in the packs paid for with real dollars. THE MORE YOU TIGHTEN YOUR GRIP ON REAL WORLD $$$ THE MORE $$$ WILL SLIP THROUGH YOUR FINGERS. Bioware please getaway from this BOP trend on all in game items and give your community the freedom to trade and list and share, don't NAPSTER the player shared GTN!!!! Thank you

I support this, It would be awesome to have all crafted gear BOE. The more we request this maybe Bioware will listen. I expect however to see all the Tionese/Columi/Rakata gear come back re-skinned in a future cartel pack, Just like the Dramatic Extrovert boots (battlemaster boots) and the Korrealis mount.

I support this idea and started a new thread with the same request. I would go even further and ask to remove the BOP from all crafted gear. If you can make it you should be able to trade it and sell it to your alts and to other players. I understand if it is FP or Op drop there is a reason to make players earn the gear through in game content rewarding instead of spending credits, but you can buy 31 (69) mods and most of this craftable gear no longer exists and contains (51) (53) mods and are longer available. It would be purely for cosmetic purposes only. The real question is what was the purpose behind these schematics in the first place? I am sure regardless we will find all this discontinued gear re-skinned and in a future Cartel Pack, just like the dramatic extrovert boots (battlemaster boots) and the Korrealis mounts.

I would not constitute a single reply as an overwhelming majority of players. I have experienced personally, on numerous occasions both discussions and whispers regarding my Rakata gear, weaponmasters chest and boots with other players asking where I got them from and how to get them. I have had conversations with players who regretted not getting the rakata, columi, tionese weaponmaster boots when they were available and the energized survivor and exotech stalker's headgear ( Bull horns). Cosmetic appearance is important to a lot players, The introduction of the dye system and the high turnover of Cartel pack gear that is sold on the GTN would support this theory. As Bioware has already previously removed the BOP restriction from the Biometric crystal mat, and the ranked requirement off some rated gear, I don't think taking the BOP off crafted gear would be all that difficult. It would allow an opportunity for players who did aquire energized and exotech schematics back in the day a chance to put them into use. I personally don't think any crafted gear should have BOP on it, If you can craft it you should also be able to offer it to other players. It really would be a welcome reward to those who craft, and I don't think changing the code would be all that difficult. I am sure that all this gear will find its way back into a cartel pack in the future regardless, just like the battlemaster boots are now Dramatic extrovert boots. I just would like to be able to freely distribute everything that I can craft. Thanks for the reply
