  1. Ha ha ha, too funny. Let's just hope this one is updated quicker than your "monthly name change" offer was on the subscriber perks page.
  2. Posting because I have some alts to be leveling, I'd love for just one more double xp weekend for them. Pretty please?!
  3. Yes, specifically the low amount of resolve this stun bubble gives in comparison to other AOE stun abilities in the game and its ability to be manually popped by groups in order to repeatedly stun multiple people.
  4. This happens quite frequently on the Progenitor server it seems, despite it being an RP server (not a lot of RP goes on anyway outside of the odd organized stuff - though the server population here has plummeted, maybe the RPers left and the kids moved in, would explain some of the names I've seen lately like "Impkiller") . Seems that certain members of the guild Requiem are notorious for writing rage essays through /w after warzones that didn't go their way. Maybe healers just get more hate in warzones anyway
  5. Game doesn't have the funding to roll out high quality content regularly anymore, EA have blacklisted the game as a failure already and before the bioware doctors fled they slammed F2P models for not being able to invest in the same way as a subscriber model. For now, we'll hear nothing if the 3 or 4 left over community reps aren't around - most of the people were fired or just left so they're operating a skeleton crew in comparison to what they had this time last year. I sense a lot of patch notes with a list of cartel market additions/discounts outweighing the list of actual content/QOL features or bug fixes.
  6. As it is, 17-20 seconds is one of the shorter cooldowns in the game for a stun, nevermind an AOE stun applied to multiple players that doesn't break on damage, yet you say it as though it's some sort of grievance. The base problem is that this ability does not give enough resolve to the people it's repeatedly stunning (the average pvp scenario is a group of ~4 bubbled players repeatedly AOE stunning the opposing group). OP actually suggested increasing the protection power of your bubble, so not really forgetting about it being a reliable healing spell for you. Smash monkeys are just a nuke to everyone, and need to be dealt with with the same urgency as bubblestun. But then again, Bioware are more interested in adding tack to the cartel market than pvp balance. The ability might have been in the game since pre 1.2, but has not always given the wrong amount of resolve.
  7. They had a decent response time to bugs/tickets for a little while after launch, but I think after the free month was up and particularly after the first paid month was up EA's finger was hovering over the fire button. Oh, and I agree. Some people would say Bioware has already been killed off - I mean, the 2 founders are gone, DA2 and ME3 disappointed a large chunk of their fans and SWTOR's game director, James Ohlen, hasn't been heard from since early June. Sad fate for Bioware to be sure, should have listened to the people who predicted this when EA's takeover was first announced
  8. They probably did take pride in the game a while ago, the original team that is. Bioware isn't bioware anymore, hasn't been for a long time, this game is now firmly in EA hands, and EA have pretty much abandoned it. John Ricitello or whatever his name is even branded it as a loss. It probably won't be long until the bioware brand is merged with another EA dominated developer, just as mythic was merged into bioware. With that said, the SWTOR team has been cut a lot this year. EA butchery always results in customer service and quality assurance teams being the first casualties. This is the result: a deeply flawed game, bugs running rampant and generally a "known issues" list bigger than the patch notes.
  9. Unfortunately, outside of the rare "we're listening to you!" post in response to accusations that they're not listening, and the occasional "feedback request" thread, bioware do not read their forums and seemingly don't play their own game either. If they did read our feedback, the game would be a lot different to how it is today
  10. I agree. Bioware's current approach seems to be - particularly with the space debacle - "Well, you CAN get some of it by actually playing the game for 100x more effort, but if you throw us a few bucks you can have it right now!" - didn't take them long to slide all the way to the bottom of that slope. The cartel market has become an utter joke, particularly with that monstrosity of a mount up for the price it is. Might aswell take it all the way and throw a suit of Elite War Hero up for 93247435 coins, at least then you can thoroughly piss off what is left of your subscribers. So much for "the importance of player feedback with free 2 play" eh hickman?
  11. Standard EA protocol (and most other businesses really) - when MR. CEO isn't making enough money for his new car this year then customer support/communtiy services are the first to be axed It's quite funny looking back at some of the tickets I made around launch and a few months afterwards which were answered within hours or at most days, and the one I have open now from a week and a half ago
  12. I would love to see more KOTOR armour sets/pieces introduced to the market now we have the Mask of Nihilus. I think Jolee Bindo's and the Standard Jedi Robes sets/chest pieces would look great in the game for Consulars/Jedi in general. I would like to see armour pieces from the main characters/companions from the original KOTOR games
  13. The FAQ still says november for the f2p patch/1.5, and I believe Bioware have said they are pushing to get the Ancient Hypergates warzone out "this year" - assuming in 1.6. So bearing in mind their 6 week content cycle, f2p/1.5 should release within the next 2 weeks. My bet is Tuesday or Thursday next week so they can get Ancient Hypergates out just before/in time for Christmas. There will probably be a big marketing push just before F2P goes live, so if we start seeing adverts/new videos floating around, it's close
  14. For male voices: The man who voiced the Male Smuggler did an outstanding job of portraying the sarcasm and "Han Solo attitude" - my favourite voice. (Probably the voice I wish I had the most ). Really, I couldn't imagine the Smuggler voice any other way now. Darth Malgus' VA is also extremely good. Very sinister sounding voice, I did the False Emperor for the first time last night (better late than never right?) and it quickly became my favourite flashpoint in the game. For female voices: General Garza's VA did an excellent job too, it's a very commanding and disciplined sounding voice so perfect. Nadia Grell is also very well done. Really, the female voices in the game are very, very good all around. I'm struggling to narrow it down, I could go on and on. Honestly there hasn't been a moment in this game where I've thought "Wow, that voice actor was really bad" - VO is one of the things that is consistently excellent in the game. If only so much care was put into a few other elements.
