This is a great post in response to the OP. A lot of the content discussion was available prior to 4.0. The one thing this game does...almost to a fault... Is listen to the customers. Look at GSF for proof of that fact, character housing...yep, easier ops, done. They aren't as fast as you like but, changes are made in this game based upon feedback and recommendations. Truly amazing that people still post these kind of posts. Upon reflection, I guess I do understand these posts when people pop in and out of the game forums and either have no basis of fact and/or do not have enough gameplay time, over the time this game has been active, to make an informed opinion.

Not saying anyone in this forum is doing this but... If you are doing HM's and you don't have the story mode achievements, why are you q'ing for HM? Don't get your feelings hurt when someone checks your chievo's and the only thing you have on your list is Esseles in SM 4 times and they call you out. If I see a tank/heals like that I will watch them, by the first boss, or sooner, I can tell what kind of tank/healer they are. Yah, I get it...achievement don't tell the whole story, but if you have been playing for a while you can tell if you have a dummy tank/healer or one that knows how to tank/heal but isn't familiar with the FP. Everyone has an ability to vote with their feet. Time is finite. If they want to walk out of FP, that is their choice. Learn your class, learn the mechanics, and you don't have to worry about people making you upset about your game play.

IMO gathering is the way to go early. Planetary commendations will give you armoring, mods, and enhancements all the way to level 50+. Go to or Oricon to get your free 156 gear and the start running ops and flash points after that. This method makes pretty much all crafting inefficient and a cash sink. Planetary commendations are easy to obtain through war zones, heroics, etc. With that being said, biochem items/implants can be expensive on the market. That is why you gather mats and store some for later crafting while subsidizing leveling purchases like earpieces and implants. You don't need purple..anything..until level 55 Now that conquest is live mat prices are at an all time high for level 2-9 mats. Oh..join a guild. Far better experience in a guild than trying to play this game solo.

Lots of people misinterpret their own lack of knowledge of the other class capabilities and limitations as a hack. I'm not saying their aren't any hacks, but I am saying that just because you don't know how to do something (like score 6 times in a huttball in less than a minute) or can't understand how you just got roflstomped while stunned doesn't mean someone hacked. It probably means you need to learn how to react to the class that is destroying you and/or your team. Premade teams are a thing of beauty...if you are in the premade.

No one is forced to participate in the events that have pvp components. Stay in PVE FP's and ops and you'll be fine.
