    someone new to pvp

    i was waiting for 1.2 and the recruit gear to start doing pvp. I'm done. I don't know if the battle-master gear is just that much better but since i'm a sorcerer it appears i'm on the hunt down and slaughter with extreme prejudice list. I can survive about 4 hits from a Marauder type character never getting a heal off and my bubble is gone before it starts. thinking it was gear dependent, i plugged on for loss after loss, with no reward for playing. So in a system where either one faction seems to have the advantage over the other on particular servers we are exaggeration the problem by allowing them to gear up faster. The sorcerers in my guild have retired their battle-master toons from pvp due to the ease in which they are now killed, even when they are guarded. I don't know how you can fix it, but i'll tell you its broken. There is no incentive for someone like me who did not pvp before to get into it.

  6. I'm holding my breath, this could be the only decent thing to come from 1.2, i'm just praying it doesn't turn out like the rest of 1.2 crap. My repair bills are getting impressive I need a comfortable way of making money.
  7. I'd like to understand the overall logic of the changes to the healing abilities of the sorcerer/sage. I don't have a level 50 healer, but I raid, i've seen 4000 posts in threads complaining about the changes, and Dev responses in other threads that have pretty much indicated that those individuals playing that class don't know a damn thing. now this has nothing to do with if the nerfs were needed or not, i hate pvp. but it does have to do with the "HM Boarding Party LF1M need Healer" i'm going to see in the space station. and the complaining I hear in vent when there are one or no healers in a battleground. The longevity of the game neccesitates that both tanks and healers two of the least popular things to play be catered to at least a bit, further more dual spec. Buffs are better than nerfs, buff the other healing classes rather than nerf the one, what you have done is taken one of the most played advanced classes and created an incentive to specialize in damage and give up on healing. So to wrap up, consider this: it doesn't matter if the nerfs to the Sorc/Sage healing is warranted you are creating an incentive to drift from a healer roll. If it becomes difficult for people to pick a healer up for a hard mode or too difficult to get through Eternity Vault because the guilds healer either "perceives" things are too hard so decides to go damage you are affecting a much larger player base then the 16% that play sorcerers.
  8. in order to keep BH's from becoming the hunters of swtor. everyone has their bailiwick. but the single gun for powertech just looks stupid.

  10. Powertechs should get rifles or carbines but mercs should be stuck with the double blaster.
  11. I just want an option to turn the belt off like the helmet, it looks ridiculous seeing people run around in elegant dresses with bulky belts.
  12. this is why augment slots need to not be a RNG crit mechanic and instead an item that crafters can create to add to existing armor.
