  1. http://i.imgur.com/mtgiILv.jpg The model for the Fearless Retaliator's Saberstaff got smooshed in on both ends, and now the blades are floating midair. I tried to repair my installation, but that didn't fix this issue. What happened?
  2. http://imgur.com/GhTODRH There are similar chest pieces, yes, but they are all hooded. And when you wear a head piece that removes the hood, there is a weird red spot at the back of the neck that can not be changed with dyes. Really, I'd like more form-fitting or cloakless chest pieces for Jedi, in general.
  3. I've been looking at the Jedi sentinels in the Oricon base with a bit of jealousy. I'm really hoping they release this hooded chest piece they are wearing as an adaptable piece I can wear on my Shadow: http://i.imgur.com/YHMDqwN.png This Cathar's chest piece isn't too shabby, either: http://i.imgur.com/fXfjDAQ.png
  4. I agree. I want my Ancient Exemplar's Headgear to work under hoods!
  5. http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20130417003211/starwars/images/3/38/Jedi_Temple_Guard.png This is a personal request, but I really enjoy the look of the Jedi temple guard's uniform as shown in the Clone Wars. Unfortunately, it's very hard for me to even approach that appearance with my Jedi Shadow. It would be nice to have a hooded top reminiscent of the Guard's, with a hood that works with the Ancient Exemplar's Headdgear (it looks a lot like the Guard's mask, but it doesn't work with any current hoods!) and coat tails that don't clip your legs when you draw your weapon.
  6. Miraluka don't have eyes, at all. So, they can't really see in any other way than Force Sight. Visas didn't really have her eyes removed. She had her eye sockets torn open: http://static1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110514052649/starwars/images/4/48/Visas_sockets.jpg
  7. Yeah... This is really throwing me for a loop when trying to find information. If you try to think about it logically, with the information that is out there, you start to run into inconsistencies or logic that doesn't follow.
  8. I have been trying to gain a better understanding of the Force Sight ability as used by the Miraluka. According to Wookieepedia, Force Sight allows the Miraluka to see organisms mostly, and perceive objects as translucent. They can't perceive color at all. Jerec's page specifically mentions that he can't see holograms. This seems to imply that energy and light are imperceptible to the Miraluka. How do Miraluka manage to survive in a galaxy where all written information only exists in the form of words on a screen? From what I can gather, there doesn't seem to be any form of braille or other system to aid those who are visually impaired. How does a Miraluka Jedi/Sith view the blade of a lightsaber or a blaster bolt, then? If they can't see them, then how have they not all been cut down or shot by blaster fire? It seems strange to me that Miraluka can't "see" light or color. I feel they should be able to still discern these things, but obviously not in the same way a person with eyes would. Light is a physical phenomenon and to say it can't be seen by the Miraluka just because they lack the organs to see doesn't make sense. It implies that photoreceptors are the only way light can be observed. Does anyone else have some insight into the way Force Sight works for the Miraluka?
  9. My issue with the black core sabers is that you can't really have "black light." It just doesn't make sense. Even if you did, the lightsaber wouldn't work as you'd like. A a lightsaber core's theoretical "black light" would not be brighter than the secondary color that envelopes it on all sides because it would have no "brightness." You wouldn't be able to see the black core at all, because the brighter outer color would completely conceal the black core because it couldn't shine through. The visuals present in game are only possible because it is a video game.
  10. I'm trying to rationalize the use of a white lightsaber crystal on my Miralukan Jedi Shadow within the lore. My Jedi has a strong sense of duty and a black and white sense of morality, probably because of the Miralukan ability to view a person's aura in the force. White seems to make sense to me as a Miraluka would not be able to perceive light and color as someone with eyes would (though I believe they can discern color and light based on wavelengths and whatnot, but that's another discussion), so symbolism of color might be more important than visual appearance. As a symbol, I thought white fit with his idea of good and evil, as if Light was "purifying" Darkness when he takes out an enemy of the Jedi Order. But if white crystals are really rare, I don't see my Jedi going out of his way just to get a crystal of a certain color. He would be to focused on his duties. However, I saw that the Imperial Knights almost exclusively used white lightsaber crystals, almost as if there was a source of abundant supply of them. Does anyone know where the Imperial Knights got their crystals from? I was possibly considering other options that would seem more practical. I'm currently looking at using a Copper (close to the traditional Shadow coloration), Derelict Purple (Not really bright, so good for stealth with Crystals seemingly available on Ilum), or Mint Green (something that would be very common.)
  11. I've been frustrated lately with the lack of speeders that don't have insane clipping when it comes to speeder piloting, and I've basically lost hope in waiting for a speeder that doesn't suffer from these issues. But if there was a "Force Flight" speeder that allowed a character to hover around in a similar fashion as the Rocket Boots, this would alleviate the problem some. It'd basically be an invisible speeder, with maybe some added visual effect like a glow or something. What do you guys think?
  12. Basically, it switches shield strength and regeneration priority between the forward and rear shields. Unfortunately, it has to completely drop the un-prioritized shield in order to do this. On top of this, you have to cycle through the settings from forward, rear, to default. This means, if you want to go back to default shields, you need to lower both shields and start regenerating from red. It just seems like too much risk for little reward. For something that sounds versatile, from what little description the tooltip provides, I still think Quick Regen shields are infinitely more useful than these. Or maybe I'm just terrible. I don't know. Has anyone else tried these out, too?
  13. Interesting note, the Solus Secant has 4 handlebars, possibly for the Gree's four upper arms. Though, I have no idea where they put their lower limbs. The Solus Secant's glow isn't as apparent from the previewing. It actually casts light on things if they get close to the front. It's pretty fun. Not necessarily my favorite of the Gree speeders, but it's a good add to my Gree collection.
  14. I seem to be having the same confusion... Thought I haven't figured out what I'm reading wrong, heh...
  15. Ever since the server transfers, which I enjoy otherwise, dailies have become a terrible chore that often leads to antagonism between players when they are forced to fight and race against one another to achieve their objectives. This mostly pertains to the Black Hole, where players have to destroy four weapons containers in one mission, and free 5 scientists in another. More often then not, players are "stealing" these objectives from one another. Simply waiting for the objectives to respawn can add 20 minutes to your run of dailies. Twenty minutes of sitting there, waiting for objectives to respawn, and hoping that another player doesn't come in out of nowhere and ninja the objectives. Players shouldn't be put through this sort of incitement. It's unnecessary to stir up aggression, especially over something that shouldn't be taking up all of our time. I believe that this issue could be solved by making objectives like these client-side objectives. A player would interact with the objective and would be unable to interact with that objective until the next day, but would still be available to other players who hadn't yet interacted with that objective on that day. Hopefully, this would alleviate the animosity that these frustrations are causing amongst players trying to get their dailies done.
