  1. We run HM TFB and NiM EC, or should I say we would be, if we weren't having so much trouble finding people who can commit to two nights. Tuesdays either 8 or 11 EST and wednesdays, the same. We've got > --- < that close to the dread guard the last time we ran properly before we lost our old 2 back in early novemeber, and since then we've geared an alt healer to fill the hole and have been pugging, to no success. So basically, time to try the forums. The SWTOR reddit mods suck and don't like raid team recruitment posts (And they wonder why they aren't popular) so yeah, here I am. Hopefully you need me (A raid team) as much as I need you. (Raiders.) Please? We have a vent, and a website, and everything. oh, and someone who makes stims for the group. Thats nice.
  2. Confrimed, just fyi. http://www.facebook.com/starwarstheoldrepublic?ref=stream
  3. Ding Ding Ding. Kephess was the easiest boss to learn of HM EC. Tricky mechanics, but not too many of them. It's a one screw up and you're done sort of boss (Wooo taunt timing!) We already know how to one shot every boss in the instance when it is performing as expected, this added mechanic is a waste of our time knowing that it couldn't be normal. Would rather bang our heads against TFB HM than waste time wiping on kephess.
  4. Buff casts every 6 seconds, and has a .5s channel Buff adds 12% damage, 12% mittigation Buff stacks LINEARLY Tanks have an 8-12s timer on their interrupt typically as far as I am aware (IANATank, I am a Sentinel) That is BAD. If you split DPS, you have a greater chance of managing the debuff BUT you have a greater chance of getting wiped out by the damn barrage This really is just a poor, poor choice on the part of the devs. Anyone know if this was on the PTS?
  5. Well, that was a rage quit for a group that previous had this on farm. Who decided to green light this decision? It's mentally deranged. That is INSANE.
  6. Participating? You've COMPLETELY wasted the time of the players who use lightsabers/vibroblades with this event... The last event was useful for everyone, this one just leaves a bad taste in my mouth and honestly p***** me off...
  7. I liked my level 14 matrix cube, so this is an emphatic HELL NO to your suggestion. That's not even a fix, you don't even know why the are disappearing, it likely has nothing to do with the shards, or any of that!
  8. Two shot this guy tonight. Two of our DPS were half asleep during the first attempt. No bugs. Last week we had to heal through the turrets, and we still one shot it. Needless to say, I've never heard of that one before.
  9. Use force stasis as your opening crush instead of Exhaustion. It has a longer CD and gives you some bonus focus. Other than that, yep, that's it in an instant. PS: Keep awe on one of your hotbars where you have easy access. Mass target AOE was the only good thing about my focus build, it wasn't very punchy single target.
  10. Not hard to play, hard to play well. Now focus, THAT was easy. Well, except for the fact that guarded by the force has just taken half your health and thrown it out the window Saber ward and rebuke are great additives though if you need a little healing and the healer is busy, however.
  11. Damage type and attack type are two entirely seperate things. This becomes quickly evident playing a consular/sorcerer I totally forget the names of the skills, but it's certainly not a regular move. PS: White flytext = Normal damage, Yellow flytext = Force/Tech/Whatever damage, As far as I've been able to tell.
  12. http://i.imgur.com/Pbmx3.jpg Slash crits make me happy. That's a wicked damage spec, and the slash crits make a lot of damage waiting for Cauterize to refresh. Very utility, Very squish for AOE's. I respec'd in to 7/3 tonight for HM T+Z... Holy crap what a difference. Way less output but I didn't die afterwards (Still learning that fight <_< ) Probably going to try 3 points in to defensive forms and drop the swelling winds talent when I respec, see what happens.
  13. 322HPS tonight covering 4 people (the DPS group, including another sentinel) I can say several times that well timed zen burns have kept the healers free to focus on the tanks in our NiM KP run. 20% of a players health in about 6s is NO small number. There were several close calls that we worked through, and a few BRez's where the bonus heals made a big difference.
